Abstract

OFDM is a transmission technique using orthogonal multi-carrier which can save bandwidth. While MIMO is a technique of using more than one antenna for transmitting and receiving. This can increase data transmission capacity without increasing bandwidth. In this study, an analysis of variations MIMO antennas 2x2, 2x4, 4x2, and 4x4 was carried out to determine the effect of antenna variations on OFDM MIMO performance. The modulation are BPSK and QPSK with frequency selective fading and AWGN channels. Performance parameters are Bit error rate (BER) versus Energy Bit per Noise (Eb/No), Power to Average Peak Ratio (PAPR), and eye diagram. The model simulated using a simulink with a number of input 100,000 bits. The results showed that BER performance compared to Eb/No, in MIMO 2x4 and 4x4 produced better performance than MIMO 2x2 and 4x2. With many receiving antennas, it gets a better signal which can reduce the occurrence of errors. Meanwhile, in PAPR parameter, 4x2 and 4x4 MIMO produce higher PAPR values than 2x2 and 2x4 MIMO. With the number of antennas, the PAPR value is distributed over all antennas and increase the PAPR value in the system. In the eye diagram parameters, the greater the Eb/No value, make a better eye diagram.

Abstract

The study investigates the impact of distance and speed on wireless communication networks, on vehicle-to-vehicle communication using the low-cost module NRF24L01. Evaluation of performance indicators, such as latency and data loss, is carried out to determine the impact of both of these factors. Understanding the impact of distance and speed on wireless networks is vital as dynamic vehicle-to-vehicle communication develops. The study used several evaluation variations, including measurements ranging from 5 to 100 metres in a stationary scenario, as well as additional tests performed in moving conditions. The test results can provide insight into the advancement of intelligent transportation systems, improving safety, efficiency, and general communication in vehicle-to-vehicle interaction. This will optimize the implementation of the end result of the technology generated by the parties involved.

Abstract

The development of terrestrial television broadcasting technology in the world today is switching from analog broadcasting systems to digital broadcasting systems. Analog Switch Off (ASO) is the period when analog broadcasts are stopped and replaced with digital broadcasts. Through the jargon "Clean Picture, Clear Sound, Advanced Technology" people will feel better quality than analog TV. In the era of digital broadcasting, TV viewers not only watch broadcast programs but can also get additional facilities such as EPG (Electronic Program Guide) to find out the programs that have been and will be aired later. With digital broadcasting, there is the ability to provide interactive services where viewers can directly rate the sound of broadcast programs in addition to the presence of features that can be utilized, such as features related to disaster information. In this study, an evaluation of the performance of DVB-T2 Digital TV propaganda will be carried out in the Bali service area. The quality of digital TV broadcasts in the Bali broadcast area is influenced by signal propagation which is parameterized by parameters C / N (or S / N), Modulation Error Rate (MER), Bit Error Rate (BER) by measuring at the test point or location of the test point/test measurement which is the outermost limit of the service area under the Minister of Communication and Information no 23 / PER / M.KOMINFO / 11/2011. So this research can be produced a map of the quality of broadcasting services in Bali which can be used as an indicator to avoid Bali from blank spot areas that can be recommended for Digital TV operators in Bali for repeater installation planning.

Abstract

One of the main roles of BMKG in Serving the public is to provide weather forecast information. The accuracy of such information highly depends on the operational condition of the instruments used, including weather radar as one of the primary tools. A reliable weather radar ensures the generation of accurate observational data, which forms the basis of weather forecasting. This study aims to assess the reliability of the weather radar operated by BBMKG Region III Badung, which has been in service for over 15 years. The evaluations were conducted using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method based on the latest calibration data from 2024. The analysis revealed several significant potential failures, particularly in the receiver component, with Risk Priority Number (RPN) values exceeding 100. These findings indicate a high level of risk that could affect the radar’s sensitivity in detecting rainfall. Nevertheless, the weather radar at BBMKG Region III remains capable of identifying rainfall intensity ranging from light to very heavy. Abstract

Songan Village faces challenges in accessing affordable and stable internet due to its hilly terrain, which hinders telecommunication signals. To address this issue while supporting the renewable energy mix target in accordance with Government Regulation No. 79 of 2014, a prototype of Coin Wi-Fi powered by an off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) was developed as a solution for low-cost and eco-friendly internet access. The system includes bandwidth and usage time management using MikroTik and Raspberry Pi, an off-grid power supply from solar panels and LiFePO4 batteries. Based on observations and testing, the system can operate for 12 hours per day with stable voltage, strong signal up to 20 meters, and consistent internet performance even with multiple users, making it a promising solution for internet access in remote areas.

Abstract

Information technology in the health sector is currently an important factor in providing health services, especially hospitals. Bali Mandara Eye Hospital has implemented information technology in the registration process and bill issuance from 2015. Electronic Medical Record is a new application that will be implemented in 2021 at Bali Mandara Eye Hospital. Electronic Medical Record is a computerized system for recording patient health history. The implementation of electronic medical records at the Bali Mandara Eye Hospital for 1 year has many problems both in terms of regulations, systems and users. Therefore, the DeLone and McLean methods are used to determine the success rate of the implementation of electronic medical records. In this method, research is conducted on 6 variables, namely System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Intention of Use, User Satisfaction and Net Benefits. From each variable, the researcher combines indicators from other researchers that are more appropriate for measuring electronic medical records. The results obtained that all statements submitted are valid. The success rate of electronic medical records at the Bali Mandara Eye Hospital was obtained at 3.22 or 80.50%. To be able to increase this value, it is recommended to improve the Information Quality, System Quality and User Satisfaction
