Abstract

Introduction : Nausea and vomiting occur in 80-85% of pregnancies during the first trimester with annoying vomiting symptoms in 52%. The way to deal with nausea and vomiting is pharmacochemical by consuming fresh fruit, namely zalacca. In 100 mg of zalacca fruit contains B6 0.2 mg which can reduce nausea. Objectives : To  find out that zalacca fruit can reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the 1st trimester. Methods : The research used was a quasy experimental design with a pretest posttest control group design. The variables in this study were zalacca fruit, nausea and vomiting. The number of samples is 30 respondents. The treatment group received 100 mg of zalacca fruit and B6 3 x 10 mg per day for 10 days while the control group received anti-nausea therapy, namely B6 3 x 10 mg / day for 10 days, before the intervention, the control group and the treatment group would get pre-test (assessment of nausea and vomiting) and then continued with the intervention for 10 days and ended with a post test (assessment of nausea and vomiting). Data analysis was univariate, bivariate using the Repeated Measure Anova (Test of Between-Subjects Effect) test. Result :  Showed that there was an effect of consuming zalacca fruit to reduce nausea (p = 0.000) and vomiting with a value of p = 0.012. Conclusion : Consumption of 100mg zalacca can reduce nausea and vomiting in 1st trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

Background: The lower confidence of mothers to breastfeed can have an impact on inadequate breastfeeding and can cause nutritional deficiencies in infants so that babies are vulnerable to disease, especially newborns. With  increasing mother's confidence in breastfeeding, intervention is needed, one of which is through videos on how to breastfeed correctly. The low level of mother's self-efficacy or mother's belief in breastfeeding illustrates that there is still low commitment to breastfeeding, low endurance of mothers in overcoming obstacles that arise during breastfeeding and mother's focus on negative aspects of breastfeeding so that it has an impact on inadequate breastfeeding and can lead to deficiency. nutrition in infants so that infants are susceptible to disease. The magnitude of the influence of mother's belief in breastfeeding requires various interventions to increase this belief so that success in breastfeeding is achieved. One of the interventions given to increase confidence is to provide videos on how to breastfeed correctly. Objectives: The goal is to find out which breastfeeding video media have an effect on breastfeeding self-efficacy. Methods: The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest post-test control group design. The variables in this study were videos on how to breastfeed correctly, breastfeeding self-efficacy. The number of samples is 30 respondents. The treatment group received the intervention to get video education on correct breastfeeding techniques using an application on a smartphone, while the control group received education from maternal and child health books. Data analysis was univariate, bivariate with paired t and unpaired t. Results: The results of the analysis show that there is an effect of the video on how to properly breastfeed the effect on the breastfeeding self efficacy p value 0.003Conclusions: Giving videos on how to breastfeed correctly can increase the confidence of mothers to breastfeed their babies.

Abstract

The consequences of emesis gravidarum are unbalanced nutritional intake, dehydration and anemia can occur during pregnancy. A non-pharmacological alternative to reduce nausea and increase hemoglobin levels is by consuming fresh salak fruit. The aim of the research is that salak fruit can increase the hemoglobin levels of pregnant women TM I. This type of research is quasi-experimental, pretest post test control group design. The sample consisted of 30 pregnant women who experienced nausea and vomiting. The treatment in the intervention group was consumption of 100 mg salak fruit plus 30 mg vitamin B6 per day for 10 days and the control group received 30 mg vitamin B6 plus counseling about nutrition for pregnant women in the first trimester. Before the intervention was given, hemoglobin was measured and on day 11 it was measured again. .Statistical test with paired t test analysis and independent t test. The results were that there was an average change in hemoglobin levels in the intervention group, namely 0.041 mmHg, while there was no change in the control group. Research shows that 100 mg of salak fruit given for 10 days can increase Hb by 0.41 gr%.

Abstract

The adolescent phase is nutritionally vulnerable phase because it requires more energy and nutrients for growth and development. Unbalanced nutrient consumption can lead to nutritional deficiencies. Adolescent girls with irregular eating patterns, having food restrictions, often buying snacks because they follow friends, often skipping breakfast, eating fast food, and junk food can cause anemia. Consumption habits that inhibit iron absorption will affect hemoglobin levels. Efforts to prevent anemia in adolescent girls include having a healthy lifestyle and providing iron tablet supplements taken regularly. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between adherence to iron tablet consumption and a healthy diet with anemia status in adolescent girls. The method used in this study was analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 30 female adolescents at SMPN 1 Banjarmangu. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling. The statistical test used was correlation with chi-square. The results showed a relationship between adherence to iron tablet consumption and anemia status (p-value 0.00), and there was no relationship between a healthy diet and anemia status (p-value 0.279).
