Abstract

Intolerance, discrimination, and violence are three different concepts with different motives and categories, but in the practice of social-society life, the three intersect with each other. This research uses qualitative research with a combination of literature and field studies (mix method). Supported by secondary data processed through the Nvivo 12 Plus analysis to compare alignment using the Nvivo QDA technique, the data is obtained from observations of research subjects using a qualitative data analysis model. To anticipate the practice of violence and intolerance in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, this research becomes a solution to deal with the problems of intolerance that often occur in Yogyakarta. If latent cases have manifested into social conflicts, repressive handling is urgently needed with a practical approach without ignoring human values. Potential acts of intolerance, discrimination, and radicalism in the latent stage can be prevented (preventive) or through guidance and direction activities to influence (persuasive).

Abstract

In Indonesia, the role of women in the political world is not statistically arguably contributing massively, due to several resistance that must be considered. Women's participation in politics should be balanced with men who are massively dominant in political positions. Because the rights between men and women's rights have the same recognition in state life in Indonesia based on the 1945 Constitution. The Islamic view is to always pay attention to the concepts of justice, wholeness, harmony, the balance of fellow human beings with nature. The purpose of this study is to determine women's participation in politics in Indonesia and to be a reference for women to participate in politics (executive and legislative). This type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The analysis used from this paper is descriptive analyzes. Analyzes were performed using the Nvivo 12 plus software. The results of the study are the lack of women's education on politics, regeneration of political parties, issues of permission from spouses, financial capital, descendants of political figures, patriarchal beliefs and culture that are still thick. This is an obstacle for women in participating in politics.

Abstract

In academic research, the Internet and the public domain's topic now has a permanent place; it is entering the mainstream of political communication studies. The coming out of the same ideas and opinions with social media can build a discourse for further discussion. One of the viral and trending discourses on Indonesian twitter was the rejection of OMNIBUSLAW; many people issued opinions using the hashtags #MosiTidakPercaya and #Tolakomnibuslaw, which emerged as a result of the passing of the omnibus law, which contains many irregularities in its ratification. This research was conducted by taking data on Twitter in October 2020 and processed using the Nvivo 12 Plus software. The results of this study indicate that the social media using twitter as information is 25%, where the public uses Twitter as a means of seeking information on the Job Creation Bill in its development process and its rejection in it, political communication is 48%, communication that is built has an interest in running political goals and as a movement. 25% of politics in pressuring the government and forming public opinion on the Work Creation Bill and a place for public space to communicate can be seen in the public space that people are interested in voicing their anxieties if there is a disagreement of opinion between stakeholders and the wider community.
