Abstract

Sudah lama dicatatkan bahwa masyarakat Buton telah melakukan kontak dan hubungan politik, ekonomi, dan agama dengan dunia luar berabad-abad lamanya. Dalam masa-masa tersebut, sebagian dari mereka telah  meninggalkan negerinya menuju wilayah lain di Nusantara. Perantauan suku Buton baik dari aspek migrasi dan linguistiknya malahan telah merentasi batas antara ruang dan bahasa, batas antara geografi dan linguistik. Oleh karena itu, pembahasan ini akan menelusuri migrasi orang Buton ke Kepulauan Papua. Terbatasnya informasi yang memadai mengenai studi perantauan masyarakat Buton memungkinkan pembahasan ini tentu saja masih jauh dari kesempurnaan. Atas dasar itulah, pembahasan ini menarik untuk didiskusikan dengan harapan dapat mendorong dan membantu kita dalam memahami profil dan dinamika komunitas Buton  di perantauan, khususnya lagi di Kepulauan Papua, serta kaitannya dengan isu-isu kebahasaannya. For centuries, it has been noted that Buton community have made political, economics, and religion contacts and relations with the outer world. In these times, some of them have left the country towards the other territories of the Archipelago. The dispersion of the Buton tribe, both in migration and linguistics aspects, in fact, have past the boundaries between space and language, boundaries between geography and linguistics. Therefore, this study was to trace the migration of the Butonese towards the islands of Papua. Of course, the lack of sufficient information about the migration study of Buton community cause of the discussion to be imperfect. Based on that, this study is interesting to be discussed in expectations that this may encourage and assist us in understanding the profile and dynamics of the migrations of Buton community, especially in the islands of Papua, and its relations to linguistics issues.

Abstract

Malay and Asia influenca was entered in Papua started from Papua people have relation with the comer from other place in Nusantara at 7th century, but no explaination can tell about when, where, and how the Buginese to move to Papua, except the information about the migration and distribution of Buginese to Papua after Irian Jaya returned to Indonesian Republic.According to that, on this paper, the terminology of Buginese diaspora can supposed be approriate for understanding his history of Buginese migration from their village in South Sulawesi to the eastern zone of Malay is Papua.So the goal of this paper is to discuss about develop, distribution, profile, dynamic of Buginese in Papua, and the other Malay issues, included their language using.

Abstract

The simple writing still speak about two main issues, there are social series and code alternation. Both of issue above based on language circumstances in Bugis diaspora's community at Jayapura, Papua Province. In this context, social series are researched by consider pattern and social relationship structure Bugi's person and language perpuse in their social structure. Here after, commnication affair and social interaction in Bugis Papua's community is interposed to show code alternation form in communities social relationship most conceive of one important sociolinguistic issue. Besides, less of this study about Bugi's comer at Papua also as judgement to lift this topic.

Abstract

Syntax study of Buginese have done by some researcher. But linguistics research that focused to Buginese abroad poeple never do. So, this research explained to linguistics characters of Buginese poeple in Papua, especially about its syntax characters. Data was collected by observation and interview process. The conclude of this research was found three  of sentence forms, that are content sentence, passive voice, negative sentence, imperarive,  introgative, and compound sentence. Its examples was taken from the field research.
