Abstract

Abstract Based on data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics, the number of autism in Indonesia in 2010 is estimated to reach 2.4 million people. In that year, the population of Indonesia was 237.5 million people with a growth rate of 1.14 percent. The number of people with autism in Indonesia is estimated to have an increase of about 500 people every year. It is necessary to make efforts to hone the special skills of children with autism that adjust to the stage of its development. The development includes all aspects of language development, social, emotional, and physical development of the child's motor. Professionals often focus on emotional, social, and family issues only whereas motor development is also an integral part in the life of an autistic child. Based on the data source, this research is a field research using qualitative research methods that is analyzed descriptively. The number of subjects in this study is 5 children. Respondents were taken based on purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation and the data was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicated that the sensory integration (SI) exercise includes 7 areas namely, vestibular, tactile, propioceptive, visual, auditory, gustatory, and olfactory. Exercise development was tailored to the conditions and characteristics of children, because between one child and another child was different. The progress of motor sensory training had five subjects and all of which had different characteristics of ability. The progress or speed in responding to their exercise stimulation was affected by age, environmental stimulation, and home-based exercise. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of the acceptance of parents of children with autism and their role in autism therapy. This research uses a qualitative approach. Characteristics of the study subjects included parents who had children diagnosed with autism. The number of subjects in this study were 4 people. Data collection techniques with interviews as the main method and observation as a supporting method. The interview results showed that overall all four subjects were able to fully accept the condition of their child who was diagnosed with autism. Acceptance is influenced by factors of support from extended families, including financial capacity, religious background, age, and support of experts and the general public. These four subjects are quite involved in handling their children ranging from ensuring the diagnosis of PLA doctors / psychologists, fostering communication with PLA therapists, providing honest information when consulting the development of their children, enriching knowledge, and assisting children when doing therapy.

Abstract

Integrated learning applied during the Covid-19 pandemic has advantages and problems. This study aims to explain the actualization of integrated learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects in this study were fourth-grade teachers and third-grade teachers at SD Negeri 5 Puding Besar, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and document study techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study are that learning is carried out with online and offline systems coming home for students who have problems related to cellphones, signals, and packages, the learning planning model (RPP) in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic contains parts of the elements including 1) Identity Consists Of; 2) Learning Scenarios, and 3) Assessment. The inhibiting factor is related to learning devices that require internet signals and packages. The supporting elements for existing devices such as gadgets, WhatsApp applications, google meet, and zoom become applications to facilitate implementation of distance or online learning. This finding is expected to inspire the implications of integrated learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
