Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education in SMK in Margoypso District. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Collecting data by using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis uses data collection steps, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: The media used in character education for students in Vocational High Schools in Margoyoso District are: 1) Exemplary Media; 2) Habituation Media; 3) Meditation/dhikr; 4) Indoctrination; 5) Behavior / Personality. The study found that all teachers had (1) a steady personality, (2) a stable personality, (3) mature, and (4) wise because the learning time in the class of students could be conditioned. It's just that there are still some students who seem anxious or not focused in the learning process in class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the biology blog project-based learning on the creativity of students and cognitive ability in the e-learning course, biology department program IKIP PGRI Pontianak. The method in this research was quasi-experimental. The research design used in this study was a nonequivalent control group design, using two groups. The instruments used are; student creativity test, creativity observation guidelines, cognitive test. The Wilcoxon test results showed a difference in the effectiveness of using project-based learning between the pretest-posttest control class and the pretest-posttest experimental class. Then at the project implementation stage, the results obtained that students have trained to be collaborative, independent, and creative in making a biology blog. Meanwhile, based on observations, students have been able to use flexibility skills in various ways to solve problems when creating biology blogs, integrating text, images, and videos into blogs. In addition, students use Elaboration skills to develop ideas and details of group assignments in more detail. Thus, this study can conclude that biology project-based learning effectively improved student creativity in making a biology blog.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to answer the problem of how the competitiveness of Public Islamic Elementary School 1 Pati, Central Java and how to implement Islamic Elementary School-based education marketing mix management in increasing competitiveness in new student admissions. To obtain data, the research uses a naturalistic qualitative approach with multiple methods, namely interviews, observations, and document reviews. This research was conducted at Public Islamic Elementary School 1 Pati, Central Java. Sources of data were obtained from committee administrators, teachers, parents, and the community in Public Islamic Elementary School 1 Pati. The data analysis process is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Public Islamic Elementary School 1 Pati carried out various socialization activities aimed at getting a large number of students. This is expected to be able to foster satisfaction for school residents which has an impact on the development of community sympathy. The success of Public Islamic Elementary School 1 Pati in gaining victory in the competition between educational institutions at the elementary level is due to successfully implementing marketing mix management that combines several elements, including products, financing, location, promotion, human resources, and facilities that are able to foster competitive and comparative advantages.Keywords: marketing mix management, madrasah competitiveness, education management strategy.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan bagaimana daya saing Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 1 Pati, Jawa Tengah dan bagaimana implementasi manajemen bauran pemasaran pendidikan berbasis Madrasah dalam meningkatkan daya saing pada penerimaan peserta didik baru. Untuk mendapatkan data, penelitian menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik dengan multi metode, yaitu wawancara, pengamatan, dan penelaahan dokumen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MIN 1 Pati. Sumber data didapat dari pengurus komite, guru, orang tua siswa dan masyarakat di lingkungan MIN 1 Pati. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MIN 1 Pati melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan peserta didik dalam jumlah besar. Hal ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kepuasan bagi warga sekolah yang berdampak pada berkembangnya rasa simpati masyarakat. Keberhasilan MIN 1 Pati memperoleh kemenangan dalam persaingan antar lembaga pendidikan di tingkat dasar dikarenakan berhasil mengimplementasikan manajemen bauran pemasaran yang memadukan beberapa unsur, meliputi produk, pembiayaan, lokasi, promosi, sumber daya manusia, dan sarana yang mampu menumbuhkan keunggulan kompetitif dan komparatif.Kata kunci: manajemen bauran pemasaran, daya saing madrasah, strategi manajemen pendidikan
Integration of Religious Awareness in Environmental Education Abdul Karim

Abstract

Environmental education plays an essential role in minimizing the alarming rate of environmental damage due to the limited understanding of the community about the benefits of conservation. The primary reason for this research is the exclusion of religious values in environmental education. This study aimed to determine the benefits of integrating religious values and environmental education to raise public awareness on this issue and comprehend the public response toward the integration between religious values and environmental education. This study employed a qualitative approach based on Participatory Action Research (PAR) which allowed the researcher to act as an interventionist, facilitator, and activist by collecting data through interviews, observations, and field notes to produce primary data. The study identifies three significant findings. First, government agencies responsible for environmental issues rarely involve religious leaders in environmental preservation discussions or activities. Second, environmental issues are not the primary topic in religious studies. Third, the community has a misconception that humans are the center of the universe. At the same time, the universe is only meant to satisfy human needs. The conclusion is that the religious understanding of the community has not yet touched on environmental issues. However, this study was limited to a community in Tambakromo, Pati Regency, Central Java. A study that involves more communities is needed. In addition, the use of survey methods and more participant involvement for future reviewers of similar topics. Thus, it can potentially obtain a comprehensive study result.
