Abstract

Menyikapi pesatnya perkembangan usaha kecil dan menengah, diperlukan sebuah strategi untuk membuat suatu produk dapat bertahan dan memiliki daya saing dari produk lain yang serupa. Desain kemasan memiliki peran penting dalam pemasaran produk karena menggambarkan wajah dari produk itu sendiri. Pengembangan kemasan produk di usaha kecil dan menengah Batik Sujo bertujuan untuk megembangkan kemasan produk Batik Sujo sehingga lebih baik dan lebih menarik. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan beberapa tahapan-tahapan sebagai berikut: Observasi dan wawancara serta tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi Program Kegiatan, Tindak Lanjut Program Kegiatan, dan Tahap Evaluasi. Kegiatan pengembangan kemasan produk telah memberikan perubahan dan pembaharuan yang sangat signifikan bagi kemasan, terutama dari bahan kemasan yang terbuat  dari kardus dengan didesain khusus sehingga tidak hanya membuat lebih menarik namun didalam kemasan juga diberikan berbagai informasi yang sangat dibutuhkan konsumen, berupa informasi lokasi produksi serta informasi pemesanan.  Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, membuat pengemasan produk Batik Sujo menjadi lebih baik dan memiliki daya saing tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of workload and work environment on turnover intention through job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The research sample was 175 employees who were taken by proportional random sampling. Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The research findings show that workload has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention directly. The work environment significantly negatively affects turnover intention, while job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a significant positive effect. Job satisfaction significantly negatively affects turnover intention, while organizational commitment has a significant positive effect. Organizational commitment has a significant negative effect on turnover intention. Indirectly, the workload negatively affects turnover intention through job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The work environment has a significant negative effect on turnover intention through job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on turnover intention through organizational commitment.

Abstract

ABTRACKThe aims of recent study are to portray the workload, work stress, organizational climate, and employee performance of CV Kampoeng Sejahtera in Malang and to investigate whether workload, work stress, and organizational climate simultaneously and partially have effect on employee performance of CV Kampoeng Sejahtera or not. This study involved 98 out of 130 employees as the sample. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling, in which takes consider on elements or categories in the population to be chosen as a sample. The instrument being used was questionnaire and document analysis. Then, the data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The result revealed that (1) workload, work stress, and organizational climate had simultaneous effect to employee performance, (2) workload positively and significantly effected to employee performance, (3) work stress positively and significantly influenced on employee performance, as well as (4) organizational climate had positive and significant effect to employee performance. Keywords: workload, work stress, organizational climate, employee performance
