Abstract

In education, an exemplary and character teacher at school has a real impact on the child's personality in the future. Character building is a collective commitment of the Indonesian people to face today's global demands. The implementation of character education is a way to build a more moral education. The purpose of writing this article was to describe and analyze the exemplary teachers in implementing character education. This article had analyzed and reviewed the works of literature that were related to the topic. The model used was a library research approach. The results examined that the implementation of character education in schools is the responsibility of all school members. However, teachers play a more important role in achieving the program, the success of character education in schools depends on the extent to which the teachers can be a model for their students. Creating a character student will need a character teacher as well.

Abstract

The month of Ramadhan is the month of education (tarbiyah), which runs every year for a month. Ramadhan educates students to carry out fasting and practices that bring their advantages. The month of Ramadan is always awaiting by Muslims around the world. Ramadhan, its various functions and consequences, effected teachers' roles and responsibilities that must also deliver educating and guiding their students during the school day so that someday they become someone who can control their desires and have high motivation to do good deeds. The purpose of this community service was to increase students' motivation to worship through the Pesantren Kilat program. This activity was carried out at SMPN 3 Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir, Riau, Indonesia. The pesantren kilat activities were important, to maintain the enthusiasm of student’s worship.

Abstract

Reading poetry is one of the language skills, the skills are reading poetry in public with correct pronunciation, beautiful intonation, and correct expression. However, especially students at MI Nurul Huda Sungai Binjai, Keritang District did not read poetry by applying the conditions or rules for reading poetry. For instance: not reading poetry with the correct pronunciation, not using beautiful intonation, also not expressing the poetry properly. Thus, the training was given to students to read poetry properly. The method used in this service is the training method. The result of this training indicated that students able to read poetry with correct pronunciation, beautiful intonation, and they can read poetry with correct expressions.

Abstract

Career selection is an important thing that needs to be considered by students in adjusting their talents, interests or abilities with the career to be chosen. However, in reality, there are still cases of mismatch of talents, interests/ability with the chosen career, causing individuals to become stressed, burdened and even drop out of college. Thus, the need for socialization of career selection in order to direct individuals to achieve success in the future. This service is carried out at the State High School (SMA) 01 Reteh. This type of research is community service with the lecture method, and question and answer. The steps carried out in this service are in the form of providing information about education or position, student achievement, and evaluation. The results of this service are students' understanding related to career choice, it can be seen that they can adjust the choice of majors according to their talents, interests and aspirations.

Abstract

In a series of teaching systems (curriculum), the method ranks after the material. Delivering material means nothing without involving the method. It always follows the material in the way of adjusting to its shape and style so that the method undergoes a transformation when the material presented changes. However, the same material can be used in different ways. The population in this study were two teachers of Islamic Religious Education at the 004 Sungai Piring State Elementary School, Batang Tuaka District. The data in this study were collected using observation and documentation techniques and analyzed using a t-test. From the results of data analysis, it concluded that there was no significant comparison between the implementation of PAIKEM learning and expository learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects at the 004 Sungai Piring State Elementary School, Batang Tuaka District.

Abstract

The problem is seen from the actions that are not good by children such as lack of manners, being brave to the teacher, saying harsh words and making fun of fellow friends which causes fights. This indicates a lack of spiritual intelligence in children. The formulation of the problem is how teachers develop spiritual intelligence to children. The aim is to study and analyze how teachers develop spiritual intelligence in children. The study of library research studies, and research results show that guiding children to find the meaning of life, getting used to thinking about giving something good, digging wisdom in every incident, developing five important exercises, namely happy to do good, happy to help people, find purpose in life, share the feeling of carrying a noble mission, and by having a good sense of humor, involving children in worship, enjoying beautiful natural scenery, visiting a grieving relative such as visiting a grieving relative, visiting a relative in an orphanage, visiting a sick relative, visiting a deceased relative die and visit relatives at the grave, through great stories, increase patience and gratitude, cultivate daily spiritual habits, discuss various issues from a spiritual perspective and give confidence that Allah is always watching.

Abstract

The realization of the sale and purchase of rice carried out by the community by selling the rice before harvesting or still in the yellowing process and not yet suitable for harvesting. This study aims to find out how the realization of buying and selling is carried out and to find out how buying and selling in the perspective of Islamic economics is on the sale and purchase of rice in Benteng Barat Village. This type of research is qualitative research. The research subjects were farmers and rice farmers with 14 farmers and 4 rice farmers in Benteng Barat Village. While the object of research is the sale and purchase of rice in the perspective of Islamic economics. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The conclusion of this study is the realization of buying and selling carried out is the same as other buying and selling, except that buying and selling is carried out before harvesting by cans or per kilo and rice will be delivered after harvest and buying and selling in the perspective of Islamic economics is still not in accordance with the principles of the Islamic economy. the principle of buying and selling in the perspective of Islamic economics, because there are still many principles that are violated, such as, the principle of God, the principles of benefit/benefit, the principles of ethics/morals and the principle of authenticity.

Abstract

There are still many students who are still reluctant to study on their own with the reason that they are unable to learn it on their own or are able to perform processing techniques but are unable to understand the process and interpret the output properly. They still need help to be able to master the technique of using software, understand the process, and correctly interpret the output of statistical data processing. The problem-solving method in this service starts from the problems that arise in the field. Moving on from these problems, we took the initiative to provide some kind of training with the aim that the problems that occur can be overcome. The Implementation of Statistical Data Processing Training Activities Using SPSS for STAI Auliaurrasyidin Tembilahan Students Semester VI to Improve the Quality of Student Scientific Work is carried out because these students will face a final project.
