Abstract

This study discussed about the effectivity of The Constitutional Court Verdict Number 5 Year 2012 about International Schools Pioneer (RSBI) Elimination at Batam City implementation. This research was formulated by a few problems because of the implementation of The Constitutional Court Verdict Number 5 Year 2012 about International Schools Pioneer (RSBI) Elimination especially at Batam City and the solutions to education performance pasca the verdict. The result showed that there were effects after The Constitutional Court Verdict Number 5 Year 2012 about International Schools Pioneer (RSBI) Elimination at Batam City. This study also analysed the solution to do the education activities at Batam City pasca The Constitutional Court Verdict Number 5 Year 2012 about International Schools Pioneer (RSBI) Elimination. The analysis showed that it was needed to prioritize the education quality increasement effort for the students through Superior School Programs and increase the roles of the stakeholders in helping the mandated Education National Standard fulfillment effort.

Abstract

Helminthiasis can be diagnosed by finding helminth eggs on a stool laboratory examination. Stool examination consists of qualitative and quantitative examination. One of the methods used in qualitative examination is the sedimentation method, this method utilizes the force of gravity by using a solution of lower density so that parasites can settle under the solution with the help of a centrifuge. One of the factors that affect centrifugation is time and speed. This study aims to determine the effect of time and speed of centrifugation on the profile of helminths eggs. The research was conducted at the meids laboratory of the Catholic Polytechnic Mangunwijaya Semarang. This type of research is experimental. Positive samples of Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) eggs were centrifuged with time variations of 10 minutes, 5 minutes and 3 minutes at speeds of 3000 rpm, 2000 rpm and 1500 rpm. The data were then analyzed using Shapiro-wilk and Paired Samples T-test. Statistic test shows a difference of STH eggs profile between 3000 rpm 10 minutes and 2000 rpm 5 & 10 minutes, and 3000 rpm 3 & 5 minutes, between 2000 rpm 3 minutes and 1500 rpm 5 minutes, between 2000 rpm 10 minutes and 1500 rpm 5 minutes dan 200 rpm 3 minutes, between 3000 rpm 5 minutes and 2000 rpm 3 minutes (p < 0.05). There is an effect of variations in time and speed of centrifugation on the profile of STH eggs.

Abstract

Indramayu mango is a seasonal fruit that is highly favored due to its delicious taste and high nutritional content. However, high mango production is often not supported by adequate post-harvest facilities, particularly in terms of fruit ripeness classification. Currently, mango ripeness classification is still performed manually, which tends to be subjective and inconsistent. To address this issue, this study proposes a ripeness detection system for Indramayu mangoes by integrating the TGS2602 gas sensor and the YOLOv11 algorithm based on image processing. The TGS2602 sensor is used to detect ethylene gas emitted by ripe mangoes, while YOLOv11 is employed for visual image analysis of the fruit. This study aims to evaluate the system’s performance in classifying ripe and unripe mangoes, as well as analyze the integration between the gas sensor and the object detection model. The test results show that the TGS2602 sensor can detect increased ethylene gas concentration in ripe mangoes, while YOLOv11 demonstrates high accuracy in detecting mangoes based on visual images, with precision and recall close to 1.0. The system was also tested under various lighting conditions, including dark environments, and still performed well, although with a slight decrease in accuracy under low-light conditions.
