Abstract

Dragon fruit, also known as pitaya, is a fruit that originates from cactus plants belonging to the genus Hylocereus and Selenicereus, in the Cactaceae family, Cactaes order, and Dicotyledonae class. Dragon fruit is highly popular among people due to its various health benefits. The maturation process of dragon fruit begins approximately 11 months after planting, and it takes about 50 to 55 days from the formation of the flower bud to the fruit being ready for harvest. The maturation process of dragon fruit starts approximately 11 months after planting. From the moment the flower bud is formed until the fruit is ready to be harvested, it takes about 50 to 55 days. Dragon fruit has different levels of maturity, namely raw, half-ripe, ripe, and overripe. These maturity levels can be identified through changes in the fruit skin color. Currently, farmers still manually sort dragon fruit by directly observing the fruit's surface, but this method often leads to inaccurate and inconsistent classifications due to human error. Therefore, researchers are striving to develop a system that can classify the maturity levels of dragon fruit by utilizing Hue Saturation Value (HSV) color characteristics and implementing the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method. In the classification system developed using Matlab software, there are four maturity categories for dragon fruit, including raw, half-ripe, ripe, and overripe. This research achieved the highest accuracy of 90%. A total of 100 datasets were used, by using 5-fold-cross validation. Data analysis was performed using the GLCM method by calculating the nearest distance between each training and testing data using the Euclidean distance formula.

Abstract

The library has an important role in improving the learning process to prepare quality academic individuals. The level of library visitor satisfaction can be used as an indicator to assess the quality of intangible services. The purpose of this study was to analyze five aspects of service quality in the STIKOM Uyelindo library towards visitor satisfaction. These aspects include tangible evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Respondents in this study were 253 students and lecturers of STIKOM Uyelindo. The method used for data analysis was Partial Least Square (PLS) and was run with SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results showed that reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy positively influenced library visitor satisfaction. For libraries to be able to complete book collections with the latest books that are in accordance with the needs of the latest curriculum and expand library space and add facilities such as chairs and computers because the number of students is increasing.

Abstract

Academic information systems are a crucial element in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of academic management at universities. STIKOM Uyelindo uses an academic information system called SiAmir to serve the academic administration needs of students, lecturers, and staff. However, the success of this system's implementation needs to be systematically evaluated to ensure its continued improvement. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of SiAmir using the DeLone and McLean model, which consists of six variables: system quality, information quality, service quality, system usage, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Respondents in this study were 165 students and lecturers at STIKOM Uyelindo. The data analysis method used was Partial Least Squares (PLS) and was run using SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that six hypotheses were accepted and three were rejected. Information Quality and Service Quality significantly influenced User Usage and Satisfaction, while System Quality had no significant effect. User Satisfaction proved to be a key mediator with the strongest influence on Net Benefits, while Usage had no direct effect. The findings confirm that information system success is determined more by the quality of content and services than by technical aspects, with user satisfaction being the primary mediating factor. Practical implications suggest that organizations need to prioritize investments in information and service quality to maximize the benefits of information systems.
