Abstract

Mining industry has the closed relation which is not separated from some types of company. Those service company are very important for mining activities. The support company is a company who give service for making the mining activities run well. Research or analysis service for solid or water mineral content is one of the support companies as state above. The purpose of this research is to know the often damage of spare parts of Boyd Crusher as one of main equipment of service company above. In this case, the coefficient value of the form and the time parameter must be known by using Weibull distribution, so that the maintenance method can be decided by applicating preventive maintenance concept. This research is done by using quantitative – qualitative method which based data around 1 year and the result is found that the Cylindrical Roller Bearing is the highest damage component. This finding is continued to be analysed by using fish bone diagram to know the main factor of those damages and the result is the less of routine lubrication and Lubricant excessive quantity for that component part where this part is made from metal material that has high friction.

Abstract

In the activity of lifting the box containing PCC onto the trolly at the MH DC section – Mr. Jailani. manual handling, the frequency of box mobilization is ± 5 times per hour, from the area where the box is filled to the chute. The weight of the load (PCC filled box) that is lifted is in the range of 12 kg - 16.5 kg, with a vertical lift from the conveyor to the top of the third box arrangement which is about ±50 cm. At the exit of the conveyor, the arrangement of boxes containing PCC is made two levels before being transferred to the trolley. The results of ergonomic measurements using the RWL and LI methods are as follows: The LI value for the Box lift point position level 1 with the origin of 1.42 means it has a moderate risk level (LI 1-<3) and an LI value of 1 means it has a moderate risk level (LI 1-<3) The LI value for the Box lift point position level 2 with the origin of 1.02 means it has a moderate risk level (LI 1-<3) and an LI value of 0.94 means it has a low risk level (LI <1) There is a decrease in the value of LI by improving the way of lifting weights so that the level of risk experienced by workers is also lower.

Abstract

Setiap industri bekerja untuk memastikan bahwa sistemnya berfungsi dengan baik dan barang yang dihasilkannya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Ini memotivasi bisnis untuk meningkatkan kualitas barang yang dibuat sesuai dengan standar dan persyaratan yang ditetapkan. Saat ini kebutuhan masyarakat akan air minum sangat besar. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh fakta bahwa volume air minum yang dikonsumsi setiap tahun—50 juta per liter—meningkat secara eksponensial. Hal tersebut menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung berdirinya perusahaan industri yang bergerak di bidang industri air minum dan terus meluasnya pasar bisnis air minum. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan sudah ada 700 lebih perusahaan air minum dalam negeri yang terdaftar di Badan Pengawasan Obat dan Minuman (BPOM).

Abstract

Implementation of supply chain management is not as easy as imagined. Company must have a good and reliable management information system and workforce who are skilled and experienced in supply chain management. Socio-economic changes like this produce obstacles and challenges that must be faced. This requires every company to develop a business strategy in order to compete with other companies. In this cycle or chain there are several organizations that work in different scopes but have the same goal, namely to procure goods and distribute them to the final consumers effectively and efficiently. Supply Chain Management is very important to do to expedite the production process and marketing process to meet consumer needs. In order for supply chain control to be effective, it is necessary to have a smooth flow of information and mutual trust between parts, be it suppliers, companies or consumers.
