Abstract

Bus shelter for public transport in Surabaya has been made to accommodate the needs of the Department of Transportation and government city. This facilities built to attract public interest to using public transportation. Currently, several shelter Surabaya Bus have been built, but the existing conditions of the bus stops have not met the requirements. Therefore it is necessary to design a Surabaya bus stop that offers convenience, security and most importantly introduces the city of Surabaya both for tourist purposes and for city branding. There is a need for shelters that are designed aesthetically, comfortably and the most important thing is that users feel safe when they are at bus stops. Designed by paying attention to the overall design principles, namely the character of the user, both disabled and normal, user activities and support facilities. Abstract

Early childhood age is in a stage of growth and development both physically and mentally. In their activities at school, children who study at the kindergarten level need learning facilities, one of which is study tables and chairs. Sometimes these facilities do not meet the condition of the student's body, dealing with its terms of size, shape and parts. The impact of the mismatch between the school fascilities such asa tables and chairs with the body size of school children is one of the obstacles in the efforts of improving learning outcomes. Tetris is one of the most favorite games that prioritizes competition among players, but still the players have to follows the rules of the game. This toy is quite interesting and popular among young children. Based on this background, efforts are made to solve the problem, one of which is by making tables and chairs for kindergarten children with the concept of the Tetris game. In designing products so that are well directed, the Vinod Goel method is used with the stages of Preliminary Design, Design Development, and Final Design and Prototype. The results of this design are intended for children aged 5 - 6 years, with components of chairs, tables, Tetris cubes and Tetris puzzles, with configurations according to ergonomics and anthropometry. The connection system uses a butt joint with nail reinforcement and glue adhesive. The material used is multiplex, with a shape of a tetris concept, a retro fifties and colorful design style with rainbow colors

Abstract

Biskuit Gabin merupakan jajanan khas Samarinda yang biasa dijadikan oleh-oleh. Desain kemasan biskuit gabin yang juga merupakan salah satu jenis kue tradisional tidak banyak berubah sejak pertama kali diluncurkan. Sehingga desain kemasan perlu dikembangkan sesuai perkembangan zaman tanpa kehilangan identitas aslinya. Dari hasil tugas yang diberikan kepada 75 siswa, terpilihlah desain akhir untuk digunakan sebagai kemasan produk. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan. Metode Proses Perancangan Struktur Pengemasan, pengemasan biskuit gabin berkembang melalui beberapa tahapan, sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan berbagai aplikasi komputer untuk dikembangkan seperti. Abstract

Pineapple leaf fiber is a type of fiber that comes from plants which is obtained from the leaves of the pineapple plant. So far, the use of pineapple plants has only been limited to the fruit, while pineapple leaf fiber has not been used relatively much. This research aims to produce a design for a set of feysen accessory products by utilizing pineapple leaf fiber waste. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely through material experiments which are then analyzed in more depth. At the data collection stage through literature (previous research journals), research was conducted on pineapple leaf fiber, consumer characteristics, and the potential use of pineapple leaf fiber as raw material for making fashion accessory products, as well as finding out the character and lifestyle of targeted consumers. Then proceed to the prototyping stage to find out the final product physically. Overall, this research shows that pineapple leaf fiber can be a good alternative material for fashion accessory products. This research produces a design output consisting of two sets of fashion accessory product series.

Abstract

Kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia terkait pengadaan Program Desa Broadband Terpadu, bertujuan untuk mengakomodir aktivitas masyarakat di pedesaan dengan optimalisasi teknologi digital. Proses digitalisasi yang terjadi pada masyarakat pedesaan dipercepat pula oleh terjadinya Pandemi Covid-19, yang nyaris melumpuhkan setiap sendi kehidupan banyak negara, tak terkecuali Indonesia. Pembatasan interakasi sosial memunculkan kebiasaan baru untuk terkoneksi dengan internet dan perangkat cerdas. Hal ini memunculkan permasalahan desain perangkat dan aplikasi bergerak yang tepat guna bagi masyarakat pedesaan. Dalam hal ini karakteristik pengguna turut mempengaruhi terjadinya sebuah pengalaman, sehingga membentuk persepsi individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengalaman pengguna saat berinteraksi dengan ponsel cerdas, dengan mengukur persepsi yang didasarkan pada perbedaan tingkat pemahaman terhadap produk interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei kuesioner Attrakdiff 2 dan UEQ terhadap 62 pengguna ponsel cerdas tingkat pemula di wilayah pedesaan di Indonesia. Hasil investigasi menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan tingkat pemahaman pengguna berpengaruh pada persepsi terkait aspek fungsionalitas produk dan psikologis pengguna saat berinteraksi dengan ponsel cerdas. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar rekomendasi bagi pelaksanaan Program Desa Broadband Terpadu, maupun bagi pelaku industri dalam mengembangkan perangkat maupun layanan berbasis teknologi digital, yang sesuai bagi karakter masyarakat pedesaan.

Abstract

Heritage typical traditional food is the region typical food that is different from those from other regions. In carrying it, the food needs a container in the form of packaging. As a souvenir, the packaging needs to have a uniqueness that can differentiate it from other packages and at the same time can show its identity. One of the difference comes from the attributes of the packaging from the visual side. Because the visual appearance is the first thing that catch the costumers attention and also influences purchasing decisions. So it needs to be analyzed what attributes are required from the visual side. This is a qualitative reasearch. Preliminary data were obtained from a literature study on food packaging design which was analyzed for its attributes, the results were qualitativeized using the NVivo application. NVivo is used to illustrate the decision analysis results framework by coding the data according to the classification scheme. The result of this study is the arrangement of the visual attributes of traditional food packaging, which will be applied to develop the packaging design for the Samarinda gabin biscuit, to reconstruct the packaging which is suitable to current taste without losing its original identity.
