Abstract

Integrating Science, ICT, and character values in learning are important in education. The fact of this  integration is not done optimal in school. Alternative solution of this problem is use of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science. The purpose of this research is determine the competence of students in learning by using of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science in materials linear motion, structure of plan, motion system, simple machine and investigate the impact of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science in materials linear motion, structure of plan, motion system, simple machine the competence of students class VIII SMPN 8 Padang. The kind of this reseach is the quasi experiment research. The population of this research were all of the students of SMPN 8 Padang of academic year 2014/2015. Sampling technique was purposive sampling. The data of the research were the competence of students on aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Research instrument in the form of sheets of learning outcomes assessment, observation sheets, and performance assessment sheet. Based on data analysis of research that has been done can be stated that the results of this study are: competence of students in learning by use of  student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science on aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills respectly 76.17, 81.60, and 89.84. Second, the use of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science in materials linear motion, structure of plan, motion system, simple machine give effect to the competence of students class VIII SMPN 8 Padang

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja model Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) dan Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) dalam memprediksi harga dan volatilitas emas harian. Data harga emas dunia periode 2018–2023 digunakan untuk pelatihan dan pengujian model. Pemrosesan data meliputi normalisasi dan pembagian data latih (80%) serta data uji (20%). Model LSTM dengan dua lapisan (masing-masing 100 unit) dan dropout 20% menghasilkan prediksi harga yang akurat dengan nilai RMSE 17,2521, MAE 12,9861, MAPE 0,69%, dan R² 0,9668. Sementara itu, model GARCH(1,1) menunjukkan keunggulan dalam memprediksi volatilitas dengan RMSE 0,0071 dan MAE 0,0057, meskipun kurang efektif untuk prediksi harga absolut (RMSE 278,1541, MAE 231,3126, MAPE 12,40%, R² -4,7735). Penelitian ini mengisi gap dari studi sebelumnya yang umumnya hanya memanfaatkan model tunggal. Dengan membandingkan langsung dua pendekatan berbeda, yaitu LSTM dan GARCH, penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi baru dalam meningkatkan akurasi prediksi harga emas dan volatilitas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi keduanya dapat lebih efektif dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar yang kompleks. Disarankan juga integrasi variabel eksternal, seperti suku bunga, inflasi, dan indeks saham global, untuk meningkatkan cakupan analisis dan akurasi prediksi.
