Abstract

Pembelajaran perkuliahan Praktikum Pemrogramn web dengan model Cooperative Learning merupakan perkuliahan berdasarkan kerja kelompok untuk menyelesaikan projek yang diberikan oleh dosen pengampu. Tujuan dengan pembelajaran model Cooperative Learning adalah: (a) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar akademik; (b) penerimaan terhadap keragaman, yaitu agar mahasiswa menerima teman-temannya yang mempunyai berbagai latar belakang; (c) pengembangan keterampilan sosial, yaitu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial mahasiswa diantaranya: berbagi tugas, aktif bertanya, menghargai pendapat orang lain, memotivasi teman untuk bertanya, mau mengungkapkan ide, dan bekerja dalam kelompok. Sedangkan manfaat dari pembelajaran dengan model Cooperative Learning adalah: (a) mahasiswa yang diajari dengan dan dalam struktur-truktur kooperatif akan memperoleh hasil pembelajaran yang lebih tinggi; (b) mahasiswa yang berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran kooperatif akan memiliki sikap harga diri yang lebih tinggi dan motivasi yang lebih besar untuk belajar; (c) dengan pembelajaran kooperatif, mahasiswa menjadi lebih peduli pada teman-temannya, dan diantara mereka  akan terbangun rasa ketergantungan yang positif untuk proses belajar; (d) pembelajaran kooperatif meningkatkan rasa penerimaan mahasiswa terhadap teman-temannya yang berasal dari latar belakang ras dan etnik yang berbeda. Dari hasil kegiatan pembelajaran Pembelajaran perkuliahan Praktikum Pemrogramn web dengan model Cooperative Learning pada semester gasal 2013 jurusan sistem informasi fakultas ilmu komputer dapat disimpulan bahwa dapat meningkatkan nilai akademik masasiswa dan kemampuan serta pemahaman tentang pemrograman web. Selain proses pembelajaran dengan model Cooperative Learning, kegiatan ini juga menggunakan ICT sebagai salah satu media pendukung yaitu adanya tuturial proses pembelajaran interaktif berbasis multimedia. Sehingga mahasiswa lebih leluasa untuk mencoba kembali dirumah bersama tim kelompok untuk belajar bersama. Dari hasil analisis 80 % mahasiswa dinyatakan berhasil mempelajari materi yang disampaikan dengan model Cooperative Learning. Bahkan berdasarkan hasil diskusi secara langsung dengan mahasiswa, model seperti yang membantu mereka dalam belajar karena mereka dapat secara leluasa bertanya sesama tim, dosen dan dapat berkreasi bersama

Abstract

Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) merupakan suatu protocol yang memungkinkan internet dapat diakses dengan perangkat mobile seperti ponsel atau handphone dan perangkat wireless lainnya. WAP membawa informasi secara online melalui internet langsung menuju Ponsel atau Handphone. Dengan adanya WAP, berbagai informasi dapat diakses setiap saat dengan menggunakan ponsel atau handphone. Berdasarkan data sebanyak 70% dari total seluruh penduduk di Indonesia menggunakan handphone seluler. Sedangkan menurut catatan Asosiasi Telepon Seluler (ATSI), yang disampaikan oleh Sarwoto Atmosutarno sebagai ketua Umum ATSI, di pembukaan FKI dan ICS 2010 Jakarta Convention Center, 14 Juli 2010 mengatakan bahwa sekitar 180 juta penduduk Indonesia sudah menjadi pelanggan seluler. Perpustakaan merupakan gudang ilmu, dengan adanya perpustakaan masyarakat, dosen, mahasiswa dan siswa dapat membaca. Dengan adanya perpustakaan dosen dapat mencari literatur untuk mendukung tri dharma seperti penelitian, pangabdian dan pengajaran. Untuk memaksimalkan fungsi dari perpustakaan, maka harus dibuat manajemen dan strategi yang baik, sehingga informasi di perpustakaan mudah untuk diakses oleh masyrakat. Dengan hasil penelitian ini, dan dengan mengaplikasikan hasil penelitian ini maka fungsi dari perpustakaan dapat dimaksimalkan. Seperti user lebih mudah mengakses katalog yang ada di perpustakaan dengan menggunakan Handphone ataupun Iphone. Proses pengaksesan dengan handphone dan Iphone dapat dilakukan dimanapun dan kapanpun tanpa terbatas dengan ruang dan waktu. Misalnya dosen dalam kendaraan, sambil menunggu sampai tujuan, dosen dapat memanfaatkan handphone atau Iphonenya untuk membaca di perpustakaan atau mencari literatur yang dibutuhkan.  Selain itu perpustakaan berbasis digital dapat menciptakan kerjasama dengan perpustakaan universitas lain atau perpustakaan nasional, tentunya hal ini sangat menguntungkan. Kata kunci: WAP, Sistem Informasi, Perpustakaan Digital

Abstract

AbstrakSeiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, proses belajar mengajar tidak hanya mengandalkan tatap muka secara langsung yang diselenggarakan didalam kelas, namun juga mengandalkan media lain, seperti media ICT yang dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu bentuk penyebaran materi pembelajaran. E-Learning sangat potensial untuk dijadikan sebagai salah satu media interakti yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran karena siswa dapat mengakses materi pembelajaran selain itu juga kesempatan untuk berinteraksi dengan pengajar akan terbuka lebih luas. Selain itu e-learningjuga berfungsi sebagai forum diskusi antara pengajar dan siswa, dan juga dapat digunakan sebagai kuis online, sehingga semua kegiatan proses pembelajaran menjadi sangat efektif dan efisien.Katakunci:E-Learning, kualitas pembelajaran, efektif, efisienAbstractAlong with the development of technology, teaching and learning process not only rely on face-to-face directly held in the classroom, but also rely on other media, such as ICT media that can be used as one form of dissemination of learning materials. Abstract

AbstractWebsite is an integrated media delivery of information provided through the Internet network so that it can be accessed by anyone and anywhere very easily. The utilization of the website not only in small and large commercial companies but also in educational institutions in this case is the University of Sriwijaya, its own website has been very rapidly growing from User Interface sessions to feature features provided which progressively grows to follow the needs of the User. In this study the authors conducted an analysis on the Website of Sriwijaya University to measure the feasibility of User Interface on the website by using UCD method (User centered Design). UCD is a user interface design process that focuses on interface, accessibility, and Usefulness in user interface design that involves the user as the center of the process by providing input or assessment in the form of questionnaire. The final result of this study is the User Interface assessment of the UNSRI website (Sriwijaya University) conducted by the user. And from the results of this study found that 43.8% of students expressed satisfaction on the Interface of the UNSRI’s website.  Keywords: UCD, User Interface, User Centered Design, website. AbstrakWebsite merupakan suatu media penyampaian informasi terintegrasi yang disediakan melalui jaringan internet sehingga dapat diakses oleh siapapun dan dimanapun dengan sangat mudah. Pemanfaatan website tidak hanya pada perusahaan komersil kecil hinggga besar namun juga pada institusi  pendidikan dalam hal ini adalah Universitas Sriwijaya, website sendiri saat ini telah sangat berkembang pesat mulai dari sesi User Interface hingga fitur fitur yang disediakan yang semakin hari semakin berkembang mengikuti kebutuhan User. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melakukan analisis pada  Website Universitas Sriwijaya untuk mengukur kelayakan User Interface pada website tersebut dengan menggunakan metode UCD(User centered Design). UCD merupakan suatu proses desain user interface yang berfokus pada interface, accessibility, dan Usefulnes dalam desain user interface yang melibatkan pengguna(user) sebagai pusat dari proses dengan memberikan masukan atau penilaian dalam bentuk kuesioner. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah penilaian User Interface dari website UNSRI(Universitas Sriwijaya) yang dilakukan oleh user. Dan dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa 43,8% mahasiswa menyatakan puas terhadap Interface dari website UNSRI. Kata Kunci : UCD, User Interface, User Centered Design, website.

Abstract

Abstract - Campus is a place of learning with many buildings and rooms. Due to the number of rooms available, it is not uncommon for students and lecturers to enter the wrong room where learning and teaching are provided so that often interfere with the activities of the users of the room at that time. This application is used as a means of information to find out who and whenever study space on campus fasilkom unsri used. This application applies Augmented Reality technology that combines virtual objects into the real world so that the information can only be viewed through the intermediary of mobile phone camera or computer. With this application is expected to facilitate users in knowing information about the classroom that will be used so as not to interfere with the activities of other users of the room. Keywords – Augmented Reality, Marker, Information, Android   Abstrak - Kampus merupakan tempat belajar yang terdiri dari banyak gedung dan ruangan. Karena banyaknya ruangan yang tersedia, maka tidak jarang para mahasiswa dan dosen salah dalam memasuki ruangan tempat belajar dan mengajar disediakan sehingga seringkali mengganggu kegiatan pengguna ruangan pada saat itu. Aplikasi ini digunakan sebagai sarana informasi untuk mengetahui siapa dan kapan saja ruang belajar di kampus fasilkom unsri dipakai. Aplikasi ini menerapkan teknologi Augmented Reality yang menggabungkan objek virtual ke dunia nyata sehingga informasinya hanya dapat dilihat melalui perantara kamera handphone ataupun komputer. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah penggunanya dalam mengetahui informasi mengenai ruang kelas yang akan digunakannya sehingga tidak mengganggu kegiatan pengguna ruangan lain. Abstract

Many large companies today do not pay attention to customer service relationships. Companies that often consider products sold are superior products that are sought after by the public. While good service will make customers loyal to the company. Imagine the amount of loss received if you do not pay attention to customer service. One way to overcome this problem is by using technology and marketing concepts CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Application (Short Message Service) SMS Gateway as a technology used to support effective and efficient CRM concepts. At present, all customers have mobile phones, so SMS is chosen as a good facility to deliver information because it is fast and reaches directly to customers, besides because of its low cost. The purpose of this study is to study the implementation of SMS Gateways that facilitate companies in conveying information to Gaudi Clothing customers. With the SMS Gateway, companies can broadcast attractive promos and new products to customers. It is expected to reduce promotions through brochures due to printing costs and waste. In designing this system, the data collection methods used are literature studies, interviews, observations and questionnaires. Application of SMS Gateway with the help of Nexmo application. Based on the research conducted, the percentage value obtained was 70.75% which was proposed by the AGREE criteria. Gaudi Entrance Clothing. So using the SMS Gateway to support the customer service process on Gaudi Clothing, can be a good solution because it is useful to support the service process and relationships with customers of Gaudi Clothing

Abstract

The chi-square test is a hypothesis test of the comparison between the frequency of observation and the frequency of expectations based on a particular hypothesis in each case or the data taken to be observed. From the research test with the title "Testing the relationship between the use of IT on student achievement levels". In total 50 respondents from the scope of the Faculty of Computer Science, Sriwijaya University, and after spss test and significance test can be produced that t count = 0.867 <t table = 9,488 means that Ho is accepted so that the conclusion is there is a relationship between the use of IT to the level of student academic achievement

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in this era has affected the development of communication technology. Most People in this era communicate through an online platform. Social media is a communication technology that utilizes the advanced development of technology. It has a variety of types depending on the features offered, for example, Instagram social media that offers a photo upload feature. Instagram is one of the most famous social media, because of its superiority which can display photo along with the description sentence which is known as caption. This feature distinguishes Instagram from other social media. The rise of the use of Instagram has encouraged us to conduct research on the Impact of Using Instagram as a Self-branding Media for Teenagers in Palembang City. The study was conducted using explanative research methods with data collected through observation and distribution of questionnaires conducted in two places, SMAN 11 and SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. The questionnaire was distributed to 150 teen respondents with ages ranging from 14 to 18 years. Through this research, it was found that the use of Instagram as self-branding media among teenagers in Palembang city had an impact. It has positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is that it can motivate teenagers to upload useful posts, for example, uploads about their achievements and the beneficial activities they lead. However, the research also shows the negative impact of using Instagram as a Teenage Imaging media, namely the emergence of envy towards the ownership or achievements of their peers.

Abstract

Teachers are required to package the subject matter to be more interesting, namely by developing interesting media and following technological developments, one of which is by utilizing Augmented Reality technology. Augmented Reality (AR) is a mixed concept of virtual reality and world reality. With augmented reality, we learn to use all aspects. Read, see and hear. With the hope that students can be interested in learning and can receive a good understanding of the lesson using AR. We here examine how much the influence of AR-based learning media to increase the interest in learning from these students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the internet on social interactions in students at Sriwijaya University. The thing that underlies the author doing the research is due to lack of direct communication between one student and another student. The influence of the internet has a major impact on the environment, especially in the campus environment, so many students who ignore a lot of things just because of the internet. In this case, many experts assess that communication is a very fundamental need for someone in a community life. Humans are social beings who still need other people in continuing their lives, the importance of direct communication should not be ignored by students today. Communication is a driver in interacting socially, in the absence of communication there can be no social life. Then it can be stated that social interaction is the foundation of all forms of social processes.
