Abstract

The 21st century requires students to have various skills. The Indonesian government seeks to meet these needs through the 2013 Curriculum. In addition, the government also seeks to improve student learning outcomes through Integrated Science learning in Junior High School. The real conditions in the field indicate that the integrated science learning outcomes of students are still relatively low. One alternative solution to solve this problem is to implement an integrated science worksheet with scientific literacy. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the application of Integrated Science Science Worksheets on Our Digestive Health Themes on the learning outcomes of Class VIII students of Junior High School  No. 25 Padang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with Posttest-Only Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and cluster random sampling. The instrument for collecting data in this research consisted of written test sheets for aspects of knowledge, attitude observation sheets for attitude aspects and performance assessment sheets for skills aspects. Data from the research were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a comparison of two averages. Based on the data analysis of the application of the Integrated Science Science Worksheet on Our Digestive Health Theme, we can conclude the results of the research. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of students who use Integrated Science LKS and those who do not use it. This means that Integrated Science LKS has an effect on three aspects of learning outcomes of Class VIII students of Junior High School No. 25 Padang. The three aspects of learning outcomes are knowledge aspects, skill aspects, and attitude aspects. Integrated Science LKS has an influence at a 95% confidence level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang bagaimana pengaruh dari model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Metode dari penelitian ini adalah meta analisis. Metode ini menggabungkan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya, dengan variabel penelitian yang sama, untuk mendapatkan suatu kesimpulan. Artikel yang dianalisis berjumlah 11 artikel, yang dikumpulkan melalui Google Scholar. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkannya nilai Effect size (ES) dari masing-masing variabel penelitian. Nilai ES dikelompokkan berdasarkan tiga kategori, yaitu berdasarkan tingkatan kelas, mata pelajaran, dan model pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis artikel yang sudah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran memiliki rata-rata Effect Size (ES) paling tinggi pada kelas X dengan nilai 2,084, penggunaan model pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran akutansi memiliki nilai rata-rata ES yang paling tinggi di antara yang lainnya yaitu sebesar 2,27, dan model pembelajaran yang memiliki nilai rata-rata ES tertinggi adalah Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan nilai 2,79.

Abstract

A production-based learning approach known as "Teaching Factory" is used in vocational schools. It is based on industry standards and processes conducted in an environment akin to that of the industry. However, based on previous research, there are several obstacles faced in implementing Teaching Factory in Vocational High Schools. This research aims to find out how the implementation of the Teaching Factory in Padang Vocational High School by conducting dissemination, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The samples in this research were SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra, SMK Negeri 2 Padang, and SMK Negeri 9 Padang. Based on the results, it was found that first, there was no significant impact on the implementation of dissemination on the results of monitoring and evaluation of the Teaching Factory program at Padang Vocational High School, with percentage of 1.70%. Second, there is no significant change from planning on the results of monitoring and evaluation of the Teaching Factory program at Padang Vocational High School, with percentage of 11.90%. Third, there is a significant change from implementation on the results of monitoring and evaluation of the Teaching Factory program at Padang Vocational High School, with percentage of 27.10%. This shows that the success of a program can be achieved with good implementation
