Abstract

Indonesia is a country with abundant natural resources, one of which is the mineral silica material. Silica can have a high value in the world steel industry by changing the quality of the nanomaterial. The method can be implemented in the manufacture of nanomaterial one of which is the High Energy Milling 3D Motion. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of milling time on the nanostructure in the form of quartz crystal structure, crystal size, grain size, and morphology. The results showed that for the time milling 6, 12, 24 hours and 30 hours obtained the crystal structure of Hexagonal. Effect of milling time to 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours and 30 hours in getting the sample size quartz crystal at around 164 nm, 123 nm, 79 nm, and 68 nm. The grain size in a row is equal to 464 nm, 380 nm, 345 nm, and 293 nm. Morphology homogenous evenly across the surface

Abstract

Abstract, this study was conducted with the aim of determining whether or not there is an influence of puppet media based on the folklore of Si Pahit Tongue to improve listening skills in grade V students of SD Negeri 227 Palembang. The research method used is the experimental method. The type of research used in this study is using Pre-experimental design. The design used in this study is Pre-experimental design with the One - Shoot Case Study approach. The population and sample in this study were grade V students of SD Negeri 227 Palembang totaling 30 people with 28 boys and 12 girls. This study uses a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques through multiple choice tests. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with the help of SPSS 25. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it shows that improving students' listening skills through folklore assisted by puppet media is more effective than applying conventional models. This is based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 is seen. So it can be concluded that the influence of puppet media based on the folk tale of Si Pater Tongue has an effect on improving listening skills in grade V students of SD Negeri 227 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of foreign language use on Generation Z’s communication patterns in various interaction contexts, including education, social relationships, and digital media. Generation Z is widely exposed to globalization and technological advancement, making the use of foreign languages particularly English increasingly common in daily conversations. This phenomenon is not only related to linguistic ability but also affects social identity, communication styles, and interpersonal perceptions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving informants aged 17–25. The findings indicate that foreign language use influences Generation Z’s communication in three major aspects: (1) increased linguistic flexibility and creativity, (2) social relationship dynamics shaped by differences in language competence, and (3) the emergence of hybrid communication styles combining local and foreign languages. These findings highlight the transformation of communication prompted by linguistic globalization within the everyday lives of Generation Z.
