Abstract

AbstractChoking is a dangerous emergency since general oxygen shortage may happen in a few minutes and this condition may lead to death. Healthcare education for improving moms’ self-efficacy is highly important and this is determined by their ability to perform their duties, reach their goals or cope with obstacles. This study aims at analyzing the effect of healthcare education on treatments for choking in underfive toddlers on mom’s self-efficacy in Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) in Pelem Village Karangrejo Magetan. This study applied quasi-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest. Samples were taken using total sampling technique and the samples consisted of 50 respondents of moms with underfive toddlers. Data were later analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test. The research results indicate that score for self-efficacy after pretest is 58% and score for self-efficacy after posttest is 64%. Wilcoxon test results show that healthcare education on treatments for choking in underfive toddlers puts an effect on moms’ self-efficacy. The p value is less than p0.05. Healthcare education using slide power point, demonstration and leaflet influence mom’s self efficacy on treatments for choking. Keywords: Healthcare education, self-efficacy, choking.  Abstrak Tersedak merupakan suatu kegawat daruratan yang berbahaya, karena dalam beberapa menit akan terjadi kekurangan oksigen secara general dan menyebabkan kematian. Pentingnya pendidikan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan self efficacy pada ibu bahwa self efficacy seseorang ditentukan oleh kemampuan untuk melakukan sebuah tugas, mencapai tujuan atau mengatasi hambatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang penanganan tersedak benda asing pada balita terhadap self efficacy ibu di Posyandu Desa Pelem Karangrejo Magetan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental design: pretest-posttest one group design. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling, sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 50 responden ibu yang mempunyai anak balita. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai self efficacy saat pretest 58 % dan saat posttest 64 %. Hasil uji Wilcoxon didapatkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara pendidikan kesehatan tentang penanganan tersedak benda asing pada balita terhadap self efficacy ibu. Nilai P value 0,000 lebih kecil dari nilai (p 0,05). Pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan media slidepower point, demonstrasi, dan pembagian leafleat mempengaruhi self efficacy ibu tentang penanganan tersedak benda asing.Kata kunci: pendidikan kesehatan, self efficacy,tersedak benda asing

Abstract

Self confidence is very important for every individual isn’t exception foster children, because self confidence is needed to achieve success. The research objective is to determine self confidence of foster children between before and after getting group guidance services. This research was using quantitative method that pre experiment design. The discovering of this research are: 1) self confidence before received group guidance service 58.3% in medium category, 2) after received group guidance service 66.6% in medium category, 3) test result wilcoxon signed rank test obtained Zhitung = 2,670 and Ztabel = 1,645 with a significant level of 5% so that Zhitung>Ztabel. So there are difference in the self confidencen level of foster children before and after received group guidance services

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengetahuan sangat penting untuk terbentuknya tindakan seseorang terutama dalam perawatanpayudara pada masa hamil. Bila perawatan payudara dilakukan secara baik dan teratur akanmenghindari puting susu yang sakit atau lecet, infeksi payudara, dan akan memperlancar pengeluaranASI. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengetahuan ibu hamil primigravida trisemester III tentangperawatan payudara dan menganalisa pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang perawatan payudaraterhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil primigravida trisemester III di RSUD Surakarta. Metode penelitianadalah kuantitatif pra-eksperimental dengan one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian dilakukan diPoliklinik kebidanan dan kandungan RSUD Surakarta, pada bulan September-Oktober 2015. Sampeladalah 57 responden ibu hamil primigravida trisemester III. Pengambilan sempel dengan tehnikpurposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah koesioner tertutup dan diisi oleh responden. Analisadata menggunakan analisa univariat untuk mengetahui karakteristik pendidikan kesehatan, dan analisabivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk menilai pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan.Hasilpenelitian menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan ibu primigravida tentang perawatan payudara sebelumdilakukan pendidikan kesehatan diketahui 24 responden berpengetahuan baik (42,11%), dan setelahdilakukan pendidikan kesehatan diketahui 49 responden berpengetahuan baik (85,96%), dengan nilaip-value 0,000 atau p < 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian adanya pengaruh antara pendidikan kesehatantentang perawatan payudara terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil primigravida trisemester III di RSUDSurakarta.Kata kunci: pendidikan kesehatan, perawatan payudara, pengetahuan, primigravida.ABSTRACTKnowledge is important to shape an individual’s behavior especially in performing breast care duringpregnancy. Good and regular breast care will help pregnant women to avoid painful and blister nipplesand breast infection, and smoothen breast milk production after birth. This research aims at investigatingthe knowledge of primigravidas in the third trimester of pregnancy on breast care and analyzing theeffect of health education on breast care on the knowledge of primigravidas in the third trimester atSurakarta Regional Public Hospital. This research applied quantitative method with pre-experimentaland one group pretest and post-test designs. This study was carried out at Obstetrics and GynecologyClinic of Surakarta Regional Public Hospital in September to October 2015. The samples were 57respondents consisting of primigravidas in the third trimester of pregnancy, taken using purposivesampling technique. The research instruments comprised close-ended questionnaires which werefulfilled by respondents. Univariate data analysis was applied to analyze the characteristic of health education, while bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon test was applied to evaluate the effect of healtheducation.The findings indicate that before receiving heath education, 24 respondents (42.11%) areconsidered having good knowledge on breast care, and after receiving health education, 49 respondents(85.96%) are reported to have good knowledge on breast care, with the p-value of 0.000 or p < 0.05. Inconclusion, health education on breast care contributes to the knowledge of primigravidas at the thirdsemester of pregnancy at Surakarta Regional Public Hospital.Keywords: health education, breast care, knowledge of primigravidas

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tahap pertama masa remaja pada perempuan yaitu mengalami menstruasi atau haid. Salah satu ketidaknyamanan fisik yang dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari saat menstruasi yaitu dismenore. Manajemen non farmakologis dapat dilakukan dengan teknik guided imagery. Guided Imagery adalah suatu teknik yang menggunakan imajinasi individu dengan imajinasi terarah untuk mengurangi stress ataupun nyeri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efektivitas pemberian guided imagery terhadap nyeri disminore pada remaja di SMPN III Colomadu Karanganyar. Jenis penelitian adalah Pre- Experimental dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN III Colomadu Karanganyar. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling; sampel berjumlah 54 siswa perempuan. Uji normalitas data pada penelitian menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Tingkat nyeri responden setelah (post) dilakukan guided imagery yang tidak mengalami nyeri dengan jumlah 12 siswi (22,2%), yang mengalami nyeri ringan 26 siswi (48,1%) dan responden yang mengalami nyeri sedang 16 siswi (29,6%). Hasil uji paired t test didapatkan hasil bahwa Sig (2-tailed) menunjukan nilai p < 0,001 (p-value < á 0,05).Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu adanya pengaruh pemberian guided imagery terhadap nyeri disminore pada remaja di SMPN III Colomadu Karanganyar.   Kata kunci : guided imagery, nyeri disminore, remaja   ABSTRACT In the early of adolescents girls experince their menstrual periods. One of the physical discomfort which can interfere daily activities during this period is dysmenorrhea. Non-pharmalogical management can be done by using guided imagery technique. Guided imagery is a technique to syncronize someone imajination with directed imagination with directed imagination in order to reduce stress and pain of dysmenorrhea. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of guided imagery technique for dysmenorrhea reduction in the case of the teenagers of SMPN III Colomadu Karanganyar. This research used pre-experimental research with One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The research was conducted in SMP N 03 Colomadu. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The sample size was 54 female students. The Kolomogorov-Smirnov was used for the data normality test. After the giving of guided imagery, we collected data that 12 respondents (22,2%) did not feel any pain of dysmenorrhea, 26 respondents (48,1%) experienced low level of dysmenorrhea and 16 respondents (29,6%) experienced medium level of dysmenorrhea. The paired t test results the Sig (2-tailed) that shows p value < 0,001 (p-value < á 0,05). The conclusion of this research is that there is influence of guided imagery giving on dysmenorrhea teenagers in the case of SMPN III Colomadu Karanganyar.   Keyword : Guided Imagery, Dysmenorrhea Pain, Teenagers
