Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine whether the underwriter’s factors affect the initial return of the companies that were going to do Initial Public Offerings (IPO). This study uses the quantitative approach using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method to examine whether the underwriter’s factors affect the initial return. The samples of this study are companies which are doing the IPO in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2004- 2011. This study finds that the underwriter’s factors have significant effect for the companies which do IPO, such as prestige, number of syndicate, experience, and oversubscription. But other independent variables like reputation, total assets, age, and price revision have no significant impact to initial return. The paper provides useful information for emitens how to choose good underwriters to avoid underpricing which causes wealth transfer to investors, the underwriters with good prestige, big syndicates, a lot of experiences, and less of doing oversubscription are recommended. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Gopay e-money in Indonesia, which is influenced by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, compatibility, personal innovation, individual mobility, intention to use, and social influence. The development of information technology and current payment systems has encouraged the development of an electronic payment instrument known as Electronic Money. E-Money is very safe to use. Electronic money is divided into electronics money is divided into two types. First, chip-based electronics money in the form of cards, such as e-Money, Flazz, and Brizzi. The second type server-based electronics money. This type of electronic money is usually in the form of applications such as Gopay, OVO, Shoppe Pay, Dana, and LinkAja, where this electronic money makes transactions easier. Develop the previous research model by adding social influence variables. Data processing method using SEM. The study results show that all hypotheses are supported except for perceived ease of use on intention to use.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of heuristic bias with mediation of risk tolerance and financial literacy and financial innovation on investment decisions in Gen Z. The method in this study is a quantitative method, using primary data obtained through a questionnaire involving 316 respondents as a sample. The Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) approach was used to analyze the data with JASP software version 0.16.4.0 and SPSS version 29 The results of the study indicate that financial literacy has a significant positive relationship with overconfidence bias, anchoring bias, representativeness bias, availability bias and investment decisions. Then overconfidence bias and risk tolerance have a significant negative relationship with investment decisions. Anchoring bias, availability bias, financial innovation have no significant relationship with investment decisions. Representativeness bias has a significant positive relationship with investment decisions. This study also found that Financial Literacy has a significant positive relationship with risk tolerance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis strategy of PT Astra Internasional TBK (ASII). The data used in the research is secondary data, which we obtained from resumes from several articles. The research results show that based on the results of the analysis at the matching stage, it can be concluded that Astra is taking an aggressive strategy, because Astra is able to handle and carry out management in its seven business units. Astra can also take advantage of the growth in market share from all sectors to increase the Company's competitiveness and become a market leader. So Astra itself chose an aggressive strategy. This is in accordance with SWOT, IE, Grand Strategy, BCG, and SPACE.
