<![CDATA[The realities of life are often not as expected, problems, challenges and disappointments come and go. There is no guarantee that being a believer means that they are immediately free from problems, but God allows this to happen in His chosen people as a test of faith towards spiritual maturity. The method in this writing is a qualitative description, which analyzes from each writing source and reconstructs it into a written concept. The result is pastoral ministry is very important in a church, provided to help congregations who are in trouble. In the counseling service, the counselor will provide motivation, direction, and values based on the word of God, so that the congregation is able to survive the problems in their life and be closer to God. Realitas kehidupan seringkali tidak sesuai harapan, masalah, tantangan dan kekecewaan datang silih berganti. Tidak ada jaminan bahwa menjadi mukmin berarti langsung bebas dari masalah, tetapi Tuhan mengijinkan hal ini terjadi pada umat pilihan-Nya sebagai ujian iman menuju kedewasaan rohani. Metode dalam penulisan ini adalah kualitatif deskripsi, dimana menganalisa dari setiap sumber-sumber penulisan dan merekontruksinya menjadi konsep yang ditulis ini. Hasilnya adalah pelayanan pastoral sangat penting di gereja, disediakan untuk membantu jemaat yang bermasalah. Dalam pelayanan konseling, konselor akan memberikan motivasi, arahan, dan nilai-nilai yang dilandasi firman Tuhan, sehingga jemaah mampu bertahan dari permasalahan dalam hidupnya dan lebih dekat dengan Tuhan.]]>
