Abstract

The background of this research is the education and development which show and develop about religious attitude as the bridge to internalize Islamic knowledge in the daily life. The character development is needed to every teacher for creating how Islamic education can be the base of life in daily activity.A boarding school with it's background and culture to be place which researcher try to know about their model of religious character for studen and implementation. This research is a qualitative field research by taking background of Muhamamdiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. This research is a character education approach. Subject of this research such as Directors, teachers, students of Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta. The data collecting has done by conducting a sociological dan psychological approach.  Methods of thinking in the analysis of data research is inductive by collecting and combing special words into a unified information. The results show that the character building model used by Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta is by using pesantren system and the teaching of Islamic sciences which directly regulate the dynamics of santri to have good religious character such as being kind people, polite, responsible, and diligent to worship.

Abstract

Ibn Taymiyyah, menurut penulis artikel ini, banyak disalahpahami. Ia lebih dikenal sebagai seorang tokoh yang anti-rasionalis, pemikir literal dan teolog revivalis, ketimbang seorang filosof. Berangkat dari sini lah artikel ini ingin melacak pemikiran filosofis Ibn Taymiyyah dengan merekonstruksi pemikirannya tentang kausalitas. Sebuah upaya yang tidak mudah memang, karena Ibn Taymiyyah tidak menulis satu buku tersendiri tentang hal ini. Upaya rekonstruksi dilakukan dengan melacak konsep itu yang masih terserak di berbagai karyanya. Maka dipilihkan pengkajian atas beberapa kata kunci yang mengekspresikan kausalitas itu. Dalam kata benda: sabab, al-‘illah, al-muatstsir, al-sababa, al-mūjid and al-ḥadats dalam kata kerja: sabbaba, 'allala, awjada, aḥdatsa, dan atstsara. Sementara kata yang mengekspresikan prosest ransformasi dari sebab keakibat (causationa) dalah al-ta'lil, al-ta'tsir, dan al-iḥdāth, sedangkan efek yang diproduksi oleh sebab diekspresikan dalam kata-kata: al-musabbab, al-ma’lūl, al-muḥdats dan al-muatstsar. Setelah membahas selintas tentang sejarah hidup Ibn Taymiyyah, penulis kemudian membahas sub-sub tema berikul kausalitas dan kausasi, elemen-elemen kausasi, macam-macam sebab, persepsi-rasa dan kemampuan akal, statemen-stetemen empirik, dan kausasi dan kemungkinan peristiwa melingkar tanpa batas (daur atau tasalsul).

Abstract

Manquliy learning is a form of variation in the transmission of knowledge in classical Islamic scholarship. Manqūliy learning is a characteristic as well as a feature of the Islamic education system that is not shared by others. In addition, mutawâtir manquliy learning is believed to be a mechanism in obtaining knowledge, so that a person's knowledge is tested for validity and can be accounted for morally and scientifically. However, in its development the manquliy learning mindset continues to grow, not only in essential matters, but also in other matters, so that there are pros and cons between parties regarding who is the holder of scientific authority and how science can be said to be manquliy. The purpose of this paper is to try to raise the phenomenon of the actualization of LDII manqūliy learning in the education system and da'wah of their organization. This research is a qualitative study. The results show that manquliy learning as a process of transmitting knowledge is no longer limited to giving authority to a person (student) in the aspect of the mechanism of acquiring knowledge, but must include 3 processes at once, namely Pemanql the holder of knowledge authorization, manqūl material development (internalization) and monitoring and realization of the output of the learning. Then, the authorization of manquliy learning is implemented in 2 steps, namely the mainstream monopoly and the hegemony of dalil authorization.

Abstract

Morality shows people’s life quality and how moral education could influence them. Religious people have an assumption that religion always teaches followers to do good and forbid them from doing badness. Islam, in the context of Indonesia, is of course influenced by the real condition of the society. In relation to this, there is Javanese philosopher, Ki Ageng Suryomemtaram, who thought the character building that is still relevant. He thought, “feeling is the center of everyone’s personality”. Based on his idea and feeling, he divides them into four dimensions of life.
