Abstract

The aim of the tests was to investigate the influence of cement on clay of Lampoh Keude Village Kuta Baroe district Aceh Besar district. Results to be seen is parameters of shear angle (ø) and cohesion (c) of the direct shear test. Normal stress to be given to direct shear test is 0.305 kg/ cm2, 0.634 kg  cm2 and 1.293 kg /cm2 with optimum moisture content obtained 23.15% and the dry volume weight 1.438 gr /cm2. This study tested three samples for each percentage mixture of 0%, 4%, 8%, 12% and 16% with one day curing period. The amount of specimen without cement mixture was made of 3 specimens and without cement mixture was made of 12 specimens for 3 repetitions testing. Soil testing in the lab include testing the physical properties of the native land, the mechanical properties of the native land and land with a cement mixture. Based on the testing  of the physical properties of the native land, AASHTO classifying soil in group A-7-6 (11) and USCS classifying soil as a silt and clay in CH group. The addition of cement shows the stability of direct shear tests with increases of  cohesion (c) and friction angle (ø) is 0% cement is c = 0.797 kg/cm2 and  ø = 31.45o, 4% cement is c = 1.326 kg/cm2, ø = 36,22o, 8% cement is c = 1.529 kg/cm2 and  ø = 38,55o, 12% cement is c= 1.950 kg/cm2, ø = 38,11o and 16% cement is c = 2.084 kg/cm2, ø = 39,01o. Direct shear test results by mixing cement on clay showed an increase cohesion (c) and friction angle (ø) parameters.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of degradation and depreciation of the Layaran fishery in the North Coast of Aceh. The method used in this research includes stock assessment using the Clarke Yoshimoto Pooley (CYP) Bioeconomic model to assessing the degradation and depreciation that has occurred in the Layaran fishery. The estimated production value of the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) is 4.63 tonnes per year which is greater than the actual production value of 3.33 tonnes per year and the MSY effort value is 36,642 trips per year which is greater than the actual effort 16,972 trips per year show that there has not been overfishing in the Layaran fishery, both in terms of production and fishing effort. Sailfish fisheries during the period 2009 to 2017 were also still in a non-degraded and depreciated condition as indicated by the coefficient values of the Degradation and Depreciation rates which were lower than the standard coefficient values with each value of 0.32 for the Degradation rate and 0.26 for the Depreciation rate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai sumberdaya dan menganalisis tingkat Overexploitation of fishery resources with an open access system is still a serious threat because it leads to reduced fish stocks. This research aims to assess resources and analyze the level of degradation and depreciation of mackerel fish resources landed in Kutaraja Aceh Fishing Port using the Clarke Yoshimoto Pooley (CYP) bioeconomic model approach. The methods in this research include standardization of fishing gear using the fishing power index, sustainable potential analysis using the CYP model which is used to assess the sustainability of mackerel fish resources, degradation analysis and depreciation analysis to see the extent of depreciation of fishery resources. The results of the analysis show that the actual production of mackerel is 4.07 tons/year, which exceeds the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) production of 3.3 tons/year. The actual fishing effort also reached 17,137 trips/year while the sustainable fishing effort (effort MSY) was only 6,351 trips/year. This value shows that the Mackerel fish resource has experienced overfishing both in terms of production and fishing effort. During the analysis period, the mackerel fish resource had experienced depreciation because it had exceeded the threshold (0.5) with an average depreciation coefficient of 0.989. However, mackerel fish did not show degradation of mackerel fish resources, namely 0.458, which was still below the threshold (0.5). However, this figure has almost exceeded the threshold so it deserves special attention from the government so that the mackerel fish resources landed at the Kutaraja Aceh Fishing Port will remain sustainable.

Abstract

Pada keberangkatan kapal syahbandar juga mempertimbangkan keselamatan kapal dan awak kapal penangkapan ikan bila akan melakukan operasi penangkapan ikan. Ancaman keselamatan pada kapal dan awak kapal perikanan terutama pada kapal penangkapan ikan masih terbilang cukup tinggi. hal ini dikarenakan pekerjaan menangkap ikan tergolong membahayakan dibanding pekerjaan lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana standar pengawasan Syahbandar di pelabuhan perikanan dalam upaya mewujudkan keselamatan kapal perikanan di PPS Kutaraja Kutaraja. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara langsung kelapangan dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 10 kapal penangkapan ikan di PPS Kutaraja dan kemudian dihitung persentase tingkat kesesuaian persyaratan. Data yang diperoleh analisis statistik selanjutnya ditampilkan dalam bentuk Tabel dan Gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 75,556% tingkat kesesuaian persyaratan alat keselamatan disaat dilakukan pemeriksaan teknis dan nautis kapal perikanan. sehingga dapat dikatakan petugas kesyahbandaran belum efektif dalam melakukan pengawasan dalam mewujudkan keselamatan kapal perikanan.
