Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) is one of the musculoskeletal disorders, psychological disorders and the result of wrong mobilization. LBP is one of the most common health problems in the industrial community, one of which is Payet Craftsmen. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and work position with LBP complaints on Halidah Sequin Craftsmen in Cempaka Sub-District. Analytical research design with approach cross sectional. The sample in this study were workers who met the inclusion criteria amounting to 25 people. Data analysis used chi-square test. Test results of research was the age variable is sig value 0.122 (> 0.05). meaning that there is no relationship between age variable with LBP complaints on Halidah Sequin Craftsmen in Cempaka Sub-District. While test results of research was the variable work position is a sig value of 0.022 (< 0.05). meaning that there is a relationship between work position variable and LBP complaints on Halidah Sequin Craftsmen in Cempaka Sub-District, with an Odds Ratio of 8,000 means that respondents who have high risk work positions are 8 more risk to complain of LBP compared to respondents who have moderate risk work positions.

Abstract

Abstract: The Relations Of Oil Palm Plantations Employee Knowledge and Attitude With Safety Behaviour. The Efforts to implement safety and health at work, Based on the results of the study showed that the work accident in the plantation related with the form of working operations in the plantations begin from the process of replanting, planting, plant maintenance to the production process. The purpose of the research is to find the relations Of Oil Palm Plantations Employee Knowledge and Attitude With Safety Behaviour in PT. GMK West Plantation Batu Ampar Sub-district Tanah Laut Regency, the benefit of this research is as an information and evaluation material to know the factors influencing employees with the relations of safety behavior.The research method used is an analytical survey with cross sectional approach, the population in this study amounted to 540 people, and the sample is 50 people. Data analysis is using test (Chi-Square).The results of the study showed: (1) good knowledge 90%, (2) good attitude 60%, (3) good behavior 60%, (4) knowledge (p = 0,643), (5) attitude (p = 0,000). There is no relations of knowledge and there is a relations of oil palm plantation employee attitude with safety behavior in PT. GMK West Plantation Batu Ampar Sub-District Tanah Laut Regency.

Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge of the Use of Personal Protective Equipment in UD La Tahzan Aluminum Furniture in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The results of the preliminary survey showed that there were 50% of 10 aluminum furniture workers who knew the importance of the benefits and uses of personal protective equipment and 50% knew less. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge with the use of personal protective equipment at UD La Tahzan aluminum furniture in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The research method used was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 35 people. Data analysis using X2 (Chi square) test.The results of the study showed that there were 24 people who had poor knowledge there were 23 people who did not use personal protective equipment. Statistical test results (p = 0.007) means that there is a relationship of knowledge with the use of personal protective equipment at UD La Tahzan aluminum furniture in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. Suggestions for future researchers to measure lighting, noise especially the work climate because it is one of the factors that might influence the use of personal protective equipment.

Abstract

Low back pain is one of the musculoskeletal disorders resulting from the wrong ergonomics. Such conditions can occur in the informal work sector, such as clothes tailors at the Martapura Bauntung Batuah Market. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of work position with complaints of lower back pain in clothes tailors at the Bauntung Batuah Market Martapura. This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique uses total sampling with criteria for male sex so that the number of samples is 43 people. Data will be analyzed using the x2 test (Chi-square). The results of the statistical analysis obtained the value of the work position p-value of 0,000 meaning that there is a relationship between the work position and complaints of lower back pain in the clothes tailor at the Martapura Bauntung Batuah Market. For other researchers, further research needs to being done on other factors such as individual factors and physical environmental factors that can cause complaints of lower back pain.

Abstract

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome includes disorders of the muscles, nerves, tendons, and blood vessels caused by repetitive activities for a long time. One of the informal sectors that always works using hands and wrists is the purun craftsman in Palam, Cempaka, Banjarbaru City. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between length of service and tenure with complaints of CTS on Purun craftsmen. One of the sampling techniques used is purposive sampling using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of samples collected is 53 respondents. Data analysis using the chi-square test. The results of the research test on the variable length of work, the Pearson chi-square sig value of 0.002 (<0.05) indicates a relationship between length of work and complaints of carpal tunnel syndrome in craftsmen. Although the results of the time-of-use survey test vary, the results of the research test on the variable period of service, the value of sig pearson's chi-square sig 0.002 (etlt; 0.05), which means that there is a relationship between years of service and complaints of carpal tunnel syndrome of purun craftsmen in Palam, Cempaka, Banjarbaru City.
