Abstract

Human nature is the core found in humans. In the perspective of Islamic Education Philosophy is something very important and fundamental that can determine human life. The target of education is humans who intend to help students to grow and develop their human potential. Human potential is an ability that might be developed to become a human. Education should be able to humanize humans. By basing on an understanding of human nature, educational activities and processes are carried out and aim to develop a more normative human personality. Because, without a true understanding of what, who, why, and for what humans, education will fail to realize the ideals of human beings. The ultimate goal of education is to make the person based on the principle of real realization, namely to realize the potential that already exists in humans in the form of moral potential, skills and physical development.

Abstract

The main objective of science education is to prepare students to synthesize and evaluate scientific explanations. Students still have difficulty using the principles of science in proving scientific claims. This study aims to identify the obstacles faced by prospective science teacher students in preparing scientific explanations for the content of Static Electricity and Applications to Living Things. Descriptive research. Purposive sampling in semester 2 A amounted to 16 students. Learning uses the premise-reasoning-outcome-visual representation strategy to develop scientific explanations. Instruments using a questionnaire include four structured questions about the facts or principles of electricity, explanations of the causes of electrical phenomena in living things, explanations of electrical phenomena, and visual representation of electricity. Data analysis uses percentages based on specific criteria. Most of the students, as much as 57%, can express facts or principles of electricity. Most students, namely 50%, cannot explain electrical phenomena in living things. As many as 57% of students can explain electrical phenomena in everyday life. Almost all students, i.e., 79%, did not experience problems visually representing electrical phenomena. The study results showed that there were still students who had problems preparing scientific explanations. The main obstacle is that students have not been able to relate the explanation of electrical phenomena to living things. The implications of the research are to equip students to integrate science content, namely Physics and Biology.

Abstract

Camera technology can help support human activities, especially in the digital era. The first Muslim scientist who invented the camera was Ibn al-Haitham, where the mechanism of the way of capturing images is currently also used and applied to become a sophisticated camera with high quality and resolution. This research aims to discover how Muslim scientists' role in discovering camera technology and modern scientists' role in ancient times until this camera technology supports the historical development of physics, especially in optics. This historical research uses secondary data sources through literature. The study's results using the interpretation of data obtained from various references obtained from various relevant references indicate that the invention of the camera was initiated by Muslim scientist Ibn Al Haitham who later modern scientists also improved and developed theory. The application of camera optics to create camera technology that is helpful for life and human activities.

Abstract

Parenting is one of the parameters of how students' character is formed in early childhood. Problems that commonly occur in class stem from how the interactions occur between students. This study aims to determine the effects of parenting patterns on the character of early childhood with research in RA Al-Iqro, Cugugurgirang. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection methods through observation of children, interviews, and survey sheets through questionnaires to parents of students after going through a cycle of periodic observations. The results show that the achievement of indicators of children's character education, the sub-indicators of fairness and leadership spirit as well as indicators of Good and humility, which is 61%, the highest total achievement of children's character is at 97.22% with very well-developed criteria. Analysis of parenting patterns that seek to shape, control, and evaluate the attitudes and behavior of their children following the rules of parents, 94% for parenting always give love and affection sincerely to children, and with. Different parenting styles will determine the character of the child, which will have a direct and significant impact on the child's learning process.

Abstract

The potential possessed by students is not only contextual. However, it must be comprehensive and essentially understand the concept of science. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted at SMAN 2 Garut using interview techniques with Physics teachers, it was revealed that students' learning in schools had implemented various learning models. The achievement of learning outcomes from each learning model is different depending on how the implementation of the learning model is carried out by adjusting the appropriate learning materials. Characteristics of students who are different in the class cause various student responses to differ from the learning model. The average student learning achievement in the aspect of problem-solving at the school for physics is 22% overall. The learning model will be judged appropriate for the material if, in the delivery of learning materials, students can achieve appropriate learning objectives and with certain aspects of the learning component by using indicators of achievement of certain aspects. Students' problem-solving ability in learning Physics subjects has difficulty because students' understanding of learning materials is only theoretical and focused on problem-solving through various formulas or equations in Physics learning materials. Initiating learning with various active learning models with various stimuli and involving student participation makes it easier for students to understand learning materials. The highest answer analysis on problem description questions is 26.5625% with the lowest and lowest criteria on the assessment of the logical procession aspect of 12% which represents the student's problem ability profile is still low on this material.
