Abstract

A solar-based intelligent water sprinkler system project that has been developed to ensure the effectiveness in watering the plant is improved by making the system automated. The control system consists of an electrical capacitance soil moisture sensor installed into the ground which is interfaced to a controller unit of Motorola 68HC11 Handy board microcontroller. The microcontroller was programmed based on the decision rules made using fuzzy logic approach on when to water the lawn. The whole system is powered up by the solar energy which is then interfaced to a particular type of irrigation timer for plant fertilizing schedule and rain detector through a simple design of rain dual-collector tipping bucket. The controller unit automatically disrupted voltage signals sent to the control valves whenever irrigation was not needed. Using this system we combined the logic implementation in the area of irrigation and weather sensing equipment, and more efficient water delivery can be made possible.

Abstract

Climbing plants are major component of tropical forest and play important role in many aspects of forest dynamic, balancing the micro-climate and provide food, shelter, nest material for wildlife especially bird. Inspite of their importance, climbing plants are often neglected. This research was aimed to describe the characteristics of climbing plants communities in three different ecosystems in Rambut Island Wildlife Reserve (RIWR). Climbing plants inventory in dryland, beach and ecotone forest were done by combining transect and quadrat method. The plots made in each ecosystem were 53, 27 and 85 respectively. A total of 37 climbing plants species consisted of 19 families were identifed and their contribution to species richness in RIWR reached 25,7 %. The climbing plants found in dryland, coastal and ecotone forest were 27 species (17 families), 23 species (16 families) dan 16 species (12 families) respectively. The species richness of climbing plants in all ecosystem were low, but the dryland forest was the richest due to the more fertile soils and vegetation structure complexity. In general, the species diversity and evenness in all ecosystem were low because of certain species domination. Dioscorea bulbifera was dominant in dryland and beach forest while Ipomoea violacea was dominant in ecotone forest. The domination of D. bulbifera influenced the similarity of climbing plants communities among ecosystem. Dominance, density and distribution of climbing plants indicated invasion of certain climbing plants species in RIWR. Keywords: diversity, forest, liana, vine

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A di MTs Ma’arif NU 01 Cilacap. dengan jumlah total 30 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui apakah pendekatan dengan media lompat tali dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran lompat jauh. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan tes, analisis data dengan membandingkan hasil belajar pra siklus, siklus 1 dan siklus 2.. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan hasil belajar siswa dari pra siklus sebanyak 80% atau 24 siswa masih mengalami masalah dengan lompat jauh yang menyebabkan siswa belum tuntas KKM dan 20% atau 6 siswa sudah tuntas KKM, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat sebanyak 46,7% atau 14 siswa tuntas KKM, dan 53,3% atau 16 siswa tidak tuntas KKM. Dan pada pelaksanaan siklus II hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruan meningkat sebanyak 86,7% atau 26 siswa tuntas KKM dan 13,3% atau 4 siswa tidak mencapai kriteria ketuntasan (KKM) yang di tentukan sekolah.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Lompat Jauh Gaya Jongkok, Lompat Tali.                                                                                                  AbstractThis research is classroom action research. This classroom action research data collection method uses tests, data analysis by comparing the learning outcomes of pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results of this research show that overall student learning outcomes from pre-cycle were 80% or 24 students still had problems with jumping. far which caused students not to have completed and 20% or 6 students had completed, then in the first cycle it increased to 46.7% or 14 students had completed, and 53.3% or 16 students had not completed. And in the implementation of cycle II, overall student learning outcomes increased by 86.7% or 26 students completed and 13.3% or 4 students did not reach the completion criteria.Keywords: Learning Results, Long Jump Squat Style, Jump Rope.
