Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer was a fertilizer that comes from nature and served to increase the physical, chemical and biological condition of soil. It contains nutrient that be able to improve plants growth. The purpose of this experiment was to observe the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from waste of china cabbage on the growth of sweet corn. The research was conducted in Laboratory of Biology, Diponegoro University. The research design used was a completely randomized design witha single factor, namely  the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer in 6 treatments and 5 replication that. The treatments were control (without fertilizer), 1 mL/L, 2 mL/L, 3 mL/L, 4 mL/L, 5 mL/L. The data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at 95% significance level. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight. The results showed that treatment of liquid organic fertilizer spraying with different concentrations affect on all growth parameters. Concentration of 3 mL/L produced the highest plant, the concentration of 1 mL/Land 4 mL/L  resulted in the highest number of leaves. The highest of fresh and dry weight were resulted by application of 1 mL/L liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

This research examines the role of Rodja TV Community Media as an alternative mass media in voicing the voice of Muslims and resolving conflicts in the community. In the midst of the lack of criticism of the government regarding Muslim issues in the mainstream media, community media such as Rodja TV becomes important as an alternative platform. This research aims to analyze how the influence of Rodja TV's community media identity and conflict resolution on neighbourhood development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subject being the community media organization Rodja TV. The theory used is making community media work: community media identities and their articulation in an Antwerp neighbourhood development project by Nico Carpentier. The results show that Rodja TV serves the community through educational programs, preaching Sunni or Salafi Islam, and social activities such as the construction of the Jami Al-Barkah Mosque. Rodja TV also plays a role in voicing the ideas of the community through various policies it makes. This research is expected to contribute knowledge about the role of community media in voicing the voice of Muslims, resolving conflicts, and encouraging environmental development. The existence of Rodja TV is proof that community media can be an effective alternative to mass media in carrying out its functions.

Abstract

Majelis Tafsir Al-Qur’an (MTA) Surakarta adalah lembaga dakwah, pendidikan dan sosial yang berdiri sejak tahun 1970. Saat ini, Majlis Tafsir Al-Qur’an memiliki 132 perwakilan dan 471 cabang di Indonesia. Meski mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan, MTA juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk penolakan dari kalangan sebagian masyarakat yang tidak sejalan dengan paham puritanisme yang dianut MTA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi komunikasi para da’i MTA dalam mempertahankan paham puritanisme beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori strategi komunikasi dari Anwar Arifin (1994) yang terdapat empat aspek penting dalam dakwah, yakni mengenal khalayak, menyusun pesan, memilih metode dan media yang tepat. Hail penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi da’i di MTA terbukti efektif dalam menjaga eksistensinya. Para da’i menggunakan pendekatan personal, media sosial, serta tafsir yang kontekstual untuk menyampaikan pesan dakwah. Majlis Tafsir Al-Qur’an juga aktif dalam memanfaatkan media massa seperti radio dan televisi guna untuk memperluas jangkauan dakwah. Kesimpulannya, komunikasi yang dibangun seorang da’i berhasil dalam menumbuhkan kepercayaan jamaah dan dapat memperkuat komitmen terhadap nilai-nilai Islam yang diyakini. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang tepat dapat berperan penting dalam mempertahankan paham keagamaan di tengah-tengah perubahan sosial yang dinamis.
