Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of singing method in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery at MTs Ma'arif  NU 07 Purbolinggo. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this research were the principal, teachers and students. To obtain the data in this research with the interview as the main method, observation and documentation as a supporting method. Then to analyze the data used descriptive analysis. Analysis of the data used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the singing method at MTs Ma'arif NU 07 Purbolinggo could improve students' ability to master vocabulary in Arabic. This can be seen from the memorization of songs where the song lyrics have been replaced with Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Effective teaching and learning of speaking skills are vital for achieving proficiency in any language, particularly in Arabic, where precise verbal communication is essential. This study investigates the design, implementation, and evaluation of Arabic speaking skills instruction at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro, aiming to identify best practices and areas for improvement. The research addresses three key questions: how lecturers prepare and comprehend their teaching plans, the effectiveness of various learning designs and strategies, and the challenges students encounter in mastering speaking skills. A qualitative approach was employed, involving interviews with lecturers and observations of speaking classes. The data analysis technique was a qualitative data analysis technique from Miles and Huberman include condensation, display, and verification for conclusion. Findings indicate significant variability in lecturer preparation, with some relying heavily on curriculum materials and others primarily on the syllabus, leading to discrepancies in instructional quality. The design of learning plans also varies, with proactive and reactive approaches affecting the coherence of the teaching process. In implementation, inconsistencies were found in the use of multimedia resources and the emphasis on practical speaking activities, resulting in gaps in student engagement and practice opportunities. Challenges faced by students, particularly in vocabulary and fluency, highlight the need for a more integrative teaching approach that combines grammar, vocabulary, and real-life communication tasks. The study concludes that improving Arabic speaking skills instruction at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro requires enhanced lecturer preparation, diverse teaching methods, and more effective assessment strategies. Addressing these issues could significantly improve instructional quality and student outcomes in Arabic language proficiency.

Abstract

Pavement is a system consisting of several layers of material that is placed on the subgrade. The main purpose of pavement construction is to provide a flat surface with a certain toughness, with a sufficiently long service life, and minimum maintenance. The population growth in Indonesia is very fast, which can result in an increase in population mobility in Indonesia. So that many heavy vehicles appeared on the highway. Therefore, the government continues to spur infrastructure development in Indonesia. One of the basic ingredients for road infrastructure development is filler. Pavement above ground is usually formed from several layers that are relatively weak at the bottom, and gradually stronger at the top. With this research, it is hoped that it can provide understanding and add insight into the effect of using mountain rock as coarse aggregate and volcanic ash as a filler in hot asphalt mixture, especially AC-BC as a flexible pavement binder layer in terms of marshall properties (stability, flow, void in mineral aggregate (VMA), void in the mix (VIM), void filled with asphalt (VFA) and Marshall Quotient). From the data from the Marshall test test results for the AC BC asphalt mixture with different bitumen variations, the optimum asphalt content was 5.57%.  Meanwhile, from the different aggregate variations using the optimum bitumen content, the asphalt mixture using natural stone aggregates has a stability value of 1190.8 kg, so it can be used in the planning of a local pavement with low traffic volume.

Abstract

Psychology of Islam can be concluded as the science which deals with psychiatric based on the source qanunu Islam (Qur'aan and Sunnah nabawiyah). Thus the Islamic Educational Psychology is a science of applied psychology in the education system that is based on Quran and Hadith. By putting Islamic psychology of human scientific effort to understand the verses and passages qauliyah kauniyah working in man, then at a certain level of thinking distance between Psychology with Islam not as far as imaginable. Al-Quran and al-Hadith loaded with righteous laws about psychology, and instead examine the psychology of many supporting the truth. Thus opened crevices relationship between the two. Religion offers principles, foundation, and referrals for psychological trap methodology provides scientific explanations for religion.
