Abstract

Poverty, which is closely related to welfare, is one of national resilience scopes. National resilience guarantees the survival of the nation's life which is manifested through citizens' tough living conditions based on trigatra and pancagatra. Based on BPS Indonesia data, the Aceh's poor population percentage in 2007-2014 has always been above the national average and among the top ten provinces with the highest poverty rates in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of the Unemployment Rate, HDI, ZIS; and GRDP per capita with oil and gas to the Poor Population Percentage in Aceh Province in 2009-2015. Using quantitative approach with panel data regression, results of the FEM processed with EViews 9 shows four independent variables have simultaneous and partial significant effect with an adjusted R-squared value of 95.11%. Every increase in Unemployment, ZIS and GRDP per capita by 1% will decrease the Poor Population Percentage. Every increase in HDI will increase the Percentage of Poor Population. Recommendations from the results of this study are that Aceh government should focus on poverty alleviation programs in rural areas in accordance with the 2008 BRR NAD-Nias report and also needs find a one-stop zakat mechanism so the potential of ZIS in Aceh Province can be realized as maximum as possible.

Abstract

Abstract This research is a study of the practice transition of the on-site services previously conducted on churches to online services from the parish’s respective residences. This condition occurs due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In Indonesia, the abolition of all kinds of communal meeting has been legally regulated and issued by both the central and regional governments. This is one of the Government’s ways to terminate the spread of Covid-19. On the other hand, the service experiences significant semantic change and it makes the parish acquire a new understanding of the term. In analyzing this reconstructed meaning, qualitative literary research is employed along with biblical perspective in interpreting the service and Derrida's deconstructive philosophy studies. Hence, this research has its own practical significance so that the parish members are able to find out the meaning of this online service appropriately. The conclusions of this research state that the church service must be well understood as a form of lifetime offering and an everlasting dedication to God. The genuine meaning of the service itself cannot be vexed merely by its trivial setting of place or method. Service is all about how a person consecrates one’s life to God.

Abstract

Democracy in Indonesia faces serious challenges due to increasing polarization, the weakening of freedom of expression, and the widespread dissemination of disinformation. Public distrust toward institutions, along with growing social pressure, has led to self censorship, which hinders citizen participation in public discourse. These conditions pose a threat to democratic resilience and call for effective mitigation strategies. However, there is still a gap in understanding how digital literacy can help individuals recognize disinformation and reduce self-censorship. Moreover, few studies have comprehensively explored the relationship between digital literacy and democratic resilience. This study adopts a literature review approach to examine existing research on the role of digital literacy in safeguarding democracy in the face of disinformation and self-censorship. The findings indicate that digital literacy enhances critical thinking skills, the ability to identify credible information, and supports freer public participation. Digital literacy also helps reduce self-censorship by equipping individuals to cope with social pressures and legal threats. This article analyzes the link between self-censorship and disinformation within the context of digital literacy—an area that remains underexplored. It further proposes digital literacy strategies based on policy, education, and community engagement to build collective resilience. The study offers a multi-stakeholder model as a strategic recommendation for policymakers, educators, and communities to design more adaptive digital literacy initiatives. Digital literacy is positioned as a foundational tool to build a society that is resilient to disinformation and political manipulation, while also strengthening an inclusive and participatory democracy.
