Abstract

PT Jamu Jago didirikan pada tahun 1918 dan sampai sekarang merupakan salah satu perusahaan jamu terkenal di Indonesia. Proses pembuatan produk jamu ini membutuhkan mesin-mesin, salah satu diantaranya adalah mesin ayak. Mesin ini digunakan untuk menyaring hasil jamu dari mesin giling yang akan menghasilkan bubuk jamu yang sangat halus. Mesin 3 pada mesin ayak memiliki frekuensi pemakaian yang cukup tinggi dan mengalami frekuensi breakdown yang cukup tinggi pula. Penerapan kebijakan perawatan yang dipakai PT Jamu Jago adalah corrective maintenance. Hasil total perhitungan menunjukkan dalam waktu 8 bulan biaya yang harus dikeluarkan PT Jamu Jago dengan masa pakai part 5 bulan yaitu sebesar Rp 753.530,47 dimana lebih murah dibandingkan dengan biaya corrective dalam 8 bulan yaitu sebesar Rp 4.975.488. Kebijakan perawatan preventive maintenance diperoleh sebagai kebijakan dengan biaya perawatan rendah dibandingkan corrective maintenance.Abstract PT Jamu Jago was established in 1918 and today is one of the famous herbal company in Indonesia. To make a herbal medicine, a company need a machine, one of which is a sifter machine. This machine is used to filter herbal medicine which will produce a very finely powdered herbs. Machine 3 on sifter machine has a fairly high usage frequency and having a high enough frequency of breakdown. Policy of maintenance that used by PT Jamu Jago is corrective maintenance. The result shows that the total of 8 months costs that PT Jamu Jago should pay with lifetime of part for 5 month is Rp 753,530.47 which is cheaper than the cost of corrective maintenance within 8 months is Rp 4,975,488. Preventive maintenance policy is a policy with low maintenance cost than corrective maintenance.

Abstract

This study aims to provide recommendations for a performance management system that can be implemented in PT XYZ. The company started implementing performance management in 2017 which is expected to help achieve company goals. However, the current implementation of performance management still needs to be improved, such as performance measurement which only uses behavior and competencies and there is a difference in the performance management process between the corporate and EPD teams. Three theories from Miles & Snow, Schuler & Jackson, and Fombrun are used to get the ideal direction of performance management based on business strategies, while Aguinis theory is used to identify gaps that occur in application in the field. The identification process was applied by document study, analysis of survey results to 40 respondents, and interviews with Senior Performance Management Specialists to obtain a strategic performance management plan that could be used by PT XYZ. Making performance as an indicator of performance appraisal, communication and monitoring of coaching & mentoring results is a recommendation for PT XYZ to improve its performance management.
