Abstract

This articel discuse about values educations in surah Ad Dhuha, Surat Ad Dhuha cannot use the results of the translation only or based on the final text. If the surah is understood using a literal translation or just a text from a verse, the results of the understanding obtained may be confused. Education values ​​in surah Ad dhuha we will find a lot in interpretations, in the discussion verse by verse then we will gain an understanding of the meaning contained in the surah ad dhuha, the educational values ​​that we can get as first, do not dissolve in worldly affairs because worldly affairs can defeat, secondly, the afterlife of pleasure is more important than world affairs and therefore do not get lost in temporary world life. Third, apply gentleness to orphans, do not act harshly even rebuke him, fourth, always remember the favors of God that have been given and do not associate partners.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is still an unresolved problem until now, the coronavirus outbreak that has spread throughout the world including Indonesia has greatly impacted the education process that has been carried out, the education process was supposed to run face-to-face (offline) suddenly turned online. Planting character education for children, strengthening character education in the current context is very relevant to overcome the moral crisis that is happening. The study in this paper is to find strategies and methods of character education during the covid 19 pandemic, with a library research approach the author reviews the results previous research both from research journals, books relevant to character education, the findings of concepts, strategies and methods of character education that can be used are the method of storytelling or storytelling (telling story), discussion methods, simulation methods (role-playing/playing and sociodrama), and live in the method.

Abstract

Covid 19 has changed various orders in social life. Human beings, who are actually social creatures, are prevented from interacting each other, which results in obstructing efforts to fulfill the basic needs of human life. People must adjust the way they interact with each other to avoid the possibility of contracting Covid 19. But on the other hand, people still have to work to make ends meet for themselves and their families. The community of Tanjung Tambakrejo Bojonegoro village cannot be separated from the impact of Covid 19. This social service uses the ABCD method, which is service that focuses on the use of assets owned by the village to improve their lives. The existing assets in these areas are sometimes neglected and not fully utilized by the local community due to their ignorance. Therefore, this method is taken to reintroduce existing assets in the community so that they can be used to improve their lives. Based on the survey conducted, it was found that various vegetable assets have not been maximally utilized, one of which is Caesalpinnia sappan L. Through various research conducted, it turns out that Caesalpinnia sappan L can be used as a warm drink that is both delicious and healthy. Based on this, the people of Tanjung village were then taught how to make herbal drink made from Caesalpinnia sappan L, and how to sel it online to improve their health and also their economy.

Abstract

Kemampuan guru dalam mengajarkan dan menilai kemampuan literasi perlu terus ditingkatkan mengingat banyak guru yang masih kesulitan dalam hal asesmen kemampuan literasi. Pengabdian ini bermaksud untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dalam hal pengembangan instrumen asesmen literasi. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan proyek dengan metode utama yaitu tutorial dan praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2021. Berdasarkan hasil angket, 88% guru setuju bahwa pelatihan memberikan tambahan pengetahuan mengenai literasi. 83% menyatakan setuju bahwa pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam hal menyusun instrumen asesmen literasi. Selain itu, 81% guru setuju bahwa pelatihan serupa perlu dilaksanakan kembali dengan topik yang berbeda. Instrumen asesmen hasil pelatihan ini divalidasi secara mandiri oleh peserta dan 68 dari 89 peserta (76%) instrumen asesmen yang dihasilkan memili kevalitan 61-80% dari seluruh soal yang dihasilkan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan pengembagan instrumen asesmen berbasis literasi untuk guru ini telah berhasil membuat guru guru lebih kreatif dalam menyusun instrumen asesmen berbasis literasi, jenis soal lebih variatif, dengan validitas dan reliabilitas yang terjamin.  Dengan demikian, diharapkan siswa akan lebih terlatih dan kompeten dalam bidang literasi.  The teacher's ability to teach and assess literacy skills needs to be continuously improved, considering that many teachers still have difficulties assessing literacy skills. This service intends to train teachers in terms of developing literacy assessment instruments. This service uses a project approach, with the main technique being tutorials and hands-on practice, which will be held in October 2021. Based on the questionnaire results, 88% of teachers agree that the training provides additional knowledge about literacy. 83% agreed that this training positively improved teacher competence in terms of preparing literacy assessment instruments. In addition, 81% of teachers agreed that similar training should be re-implemented with a different topic. The participants independently validated the assessment instrument resulting from this training, and for 68 of the 89 participants (76%), the resulting assessment instrument had a validity of 61-80% of all questions generated. Thus, the training in developing literacy-based assessment instruments for teachers has provided additional knowledge, increasing teacher competence in preparing literacy assessment instruments.

Abstract

Abstract: Since the very begining, industrial revolution had shaked and shaped modern people’s culture and created new cultures that never exist before. Positivistic  way of thinking on science had become basic requirement of scientific research that spring technological inventions related and unseparated with every side of human activities. Technological deter-minism which came along with television put this technological artefact into a new role that never meant before, a role that surpases the basic purpose on creating this ‘tool’. A man, unconsciously, is slaved by the technology, while he feels mastering it. This research tries to find the essence of technology, especially television, the essence that lies behind the material and use of it. Understanding the essence of the technology will open deeper understanding of human existence related with technology. This research shows that technology plays vital role in modern civilization and take deep control on human activities. This role endangered human existence who ignore their authentity and enjoyed of being inauthentic.Key words: Technology, Television, and Existence

Abstract

This study aims to examine the educational philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara and its relevance to strengthening character education in the modern era. Ki Hajar Dewantara viewed education as a process of shaping the whole human being, encompassing cognitive, emotional, and moral dimensions—expressed through the unity of cipta (thought), rasa (feeling), karsa (will), and karya (action). Education, according to him, should not focus solely on intellectual development but also nurture noble character and moral values essential for social life. Through his well-known motto “Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani,” he emphasized the educator’s role as a role model, motivator, and supporter in the learning process. This approach aligns with the principles of character education, which stress the importance of attitude and ethical development. In the midst of globalization and technological advancement, Ki Hajar Dewantara’s thoughts remain highly relevant in addressing the moral crisis and character decline faced by the younger generation. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature review to explore the character values embedded in his philosophy and their implementation in the current education system. The findings indicate that character education based on Ki Hajar Dewantara’s philosophy can serve as a strong foundation for nurturing a generation with integrity, noble morals, and love for the nation.

Abstract

Kosa kata merupakan bagian penting dari pembelajaran bahasa asing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengajaran kosakata dengan menggunakan cerita pendek untuk membuat siswa tertarik dan untuk mengetahui apakah cerita pendek dapat berhasil meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa atau tidak pada siswa kelas empat MI Tarbiyatul Banin wal Banat Trucuk Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dan desain eksperimen semu. Instrumen penelitiannya adalah observasi, kami mengamati guru bahasa Inggris menggunakan catatan lapangan. Instrumen kedua menggunakan tes yang menggunakan pre-test dan post-test yang kemudian dianalisis dalam program SPSS for Windows. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV MI Tarbiyatul Banin wal Banat Bojonegoro. Sampelnya adalah kelompok eksperimen yang berjumlah 20 siswa dan kelompok kontrol yang berjumlah 207 siswa. Hasil dari 7 observasi menunjukkan bahwa 7 proses pengajaran dengan menggunakan 7 storytelling 7 dibagi menjadi 3 7 langkah. Untuk mengetahui apakah 7 cerita pendek dapat meningkatkan7 penguasaan kosakata7 diperoleh hasil dari7membandingkan7skor7antara t-hitung7 dan 7t-tabel. Hasil data menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, artinya penggunaan cerita pendek mempunyai pengaruh yang baik terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kosakata siswa. Rerata skor pre-test7 kelompok eksperimen7 adalah 67,15 dan mean skor post-test7 kelompok eksperimen7 adalah 85,35. Rata-rata skor pra-tes 7 kelompok kontrol 7 adalah 67,75 dan skor rata-rata pasca-tes 7 kelompok kontrol 7 adalah 78,35. Perubahan nilai dari kelompok Eksperimen sangat signifikan. Hasil 8thitung (11,384)8lebih tinggi dari 8ttabel (0,4329). Berdasarkan temuan8 dan pembahasan penelitian,peneliti8 menyimpulkan8bahwa,Cerita8 Pendek dapat berhasil dalam meningkatkan8penguasaan kosakata8siswa pada siswa kelas 8 MI Tarbiyatul Banin wal Banat Trucuk Bojonegoro.
