Abstract

A person who has uncontrolled hypertension has seven times greater risk to have a stroke and three times greater risk to have a heart attack. Electroacupuncture therapy is one of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be used as a solution to control blood pressure values ​​in hypertensive patients. This research was conducted to analyze the effect of electroacupuncture therapy on the values ​​of blood pressure, Mean Arterial Pressure, and Pulse Pressure in hypertensive patients. This research used a Literature Review design with journal searches using Science Direct, PubMed, and Google Schoolar published in 2009-2020. Among the 17944 articles obtained, 15 articles were taken for analysis. Furthermore, the Journal Reviews was done by employing the Duffy 2005 Research Apraisal Critical Format. The results of this study found that 9 journals of electroacupuncture and 6 journals of acupuncture showed positive results in which there was an effect of electroacupuncture therapy on the value of blood pressure, mean artery pressure and pulse pressure in hypertensive patients. The researchers concluded that Electroacupuncture therapy affects the value of blood pressure, mean artery pressure, and pulse pressure in hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Tujuan studi:Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi dan menyerang organ-organ yang ada di dalam tubuh seperti serangan jantung, gagal ginjal, dan juga kebutaan, oleh sebab itu tidak jarang hipertensi juga disebut sebagai the silent killer. Elektrik-Akupukntur hadir untuk menjadi salah satu solusi untuk menurunkan Nilai Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP). Penelitan literature review ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pengaruh Elektrik Akupunktur terhadap Nilai MAP pada pasien Hipertensi Metodologi: Peneliti menggunakan pencarian jurnal dari Google schoolar, PudMed dan Perpusnas. Jurnal yang di dapat terlebih dahulu di seleksi kreteria inklusi dan eklusi. Kemudian di lakukan penilaian menggunakan format dari Atwafer & Duffy (2005) yaitu Research Apprasisal Checlist (RAC). Jurnal yang di pergunakan hanya yang masuk dalam kategori Average dan Superior. Hasil: Hasil nya di temukan 15 jurnal final yang terdiri dari jurnal Internasional. Kesimpulan dari semua jurnal yang ada adalah Elektrik Akupunktur di titik acupoint memiliki pengaruh dalam mestabilkan Nilai MAP dalam kisaran Normal. Manfaat: Pasien Hipertensi perlu merawat diri dengan mengontrol nilai tekanan darah dan juga nilai MAP, dan melakuan terapi yang salah satu solusinya adalah Elektirk Akupunktur.
