Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of mathematical representation through an open-ended approach to functional material in class VIII MTs. Sirajul Ulum Pontianak. The research method used was the experimental method with Quasi experimental research and the design used in this study was posttest-only control design. The results obtained were (1) the average ability of students' mathematical representation after being taught with an open-ended approach was 72 with the criteria classified as good; (2) The average mathematical representation ability of students is 57 with criteria classified as sufficient; and (3) The ability of mathematical representations given to the treatment of open-ended approaches is better than students given the treatment of conventional learning models, this can be seen from the average results and has been proven using inferential statistics. Every student in the control class or experiment experiences problems on each indicator, which is what distinguishes the average.

Abstract

Pembahasan ini untuk mengetahui hasil dari LKPD berbasis Scientific Approach terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematik pada materi operasi pecahan di kelas VII MTS AL-Mujatahid yang sesuai dengan tahap kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan. Pembahasan ini menerapkan bentuk rancangan pengembangan ADDIE, yang memiliki 5 tahapan pokok, yaitu analysis (Analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), Implementation (penerapan), Evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek pada pembahasan ini yaitu siswa kelas VII MTS AL-Mujtahid sebanyak 14 orang siswa. Dalam pembahasan ini instrumen yang diterapkan merupakan lembar validasi, angket, dan soal pretest posttest. Hasil penelitian yang pertama adalah validasi LKPD yang berarti nilai rata-rata atas ke-3 ahli senilai 89,33% sesuai kriteria sangat valid. Kedua yaitu nilai kepraktisan, berdasarkan pandangan melalui nilai angket yang diisi guru & siswa yang di akumulasikan hingga mencapai presentase senilai 92% sesuai kriteria sangat praktis. Kemudian keefektifan, diperiksa melalui hasil uji statistic inferensial menggunakan pretest dan posttest siswa sesuai hasil uji-t yaitu thitung < - ttabel signifikan Ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa dan kemampuan koneksi matematik, hingga LKPD di kategorikan efektif. Oleh sebab itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang berbasis Scientific Approach terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematik pada materi operasi pecahan di kelas VII MTS tergolong valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning media in the form of Android applications that achieve valid, practical and effective criteria so that they are suitable for use. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The steps for developing this application use the ADDIE model which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects in this research were class X SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir students. The instruments used in this research were media and material expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and posttests. The research results related to validity reached a validity level in the "Very Valid" category with media validity reaching 88.78% and material validity reaching 95.57%, reaching a level of practicality with the "Very Practical" criteria as indicated by the student response questionnaire which reached a score of 90, 13% and the response questionnaire given by the teacher reached a score of 93.08%, reaching a level of effectiveness with the criteria "Very Effective" based on the completion score determined by the school with test results showing the percentage of student completion getting a score of 91.67%. With this it can be concluded that the Kumer - Math application based on differentiation learning for creative thinking skills in trigonometry comparison material is very suitable for use.
