The aimed of this research was to measure the effect of application (RPG) MakerMV. This research belongs to experimental research and quasi experimental design. It described about the effect of using of the application. The research methodology was a quantitative method. The population of this study was one Class XI students from MA Siti Khadijah, and the sample was twenty students or two classes throughpurposive sampling. The research result showed that this application were very effective and very easy to use.The researcher concluded that the experimental group through this application in the right way. The average percentage of student activity is 75.6%, which is included in both categories.The experimental group had higher score (429) after learning English vocabulary using direct method than control group (274). The conclusions of this study was RPG Maker mobile effective in the teaching learning English. This study recommended to use this aplication in teaching english. The application help students to follow the lesson

Artikel pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan bahasa Inggris kepada resepsionis hotel. Pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris para resepsionis hotel, sehingga mereka dapat memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik kepada tamu-tamu asing yang datang. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap pendahuluan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap pendahuluan meliputi penentuan materi pelatihan, penyusunan bahan ajar, dan pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pelatihan secara langsung kepada para resepsionis hotel. Materi pelatihan meliputi kosa kata dan ungkapan dalam situasi pelayanan di hotel, serta latihan berbicara dan mendengarkan dalam bahasa Inggris. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran interaktif yang mengutamakan praktik langsung dalam situasi yang mirip dengan situasi yang sebenarnya di hotel. Setelah pelatihan selesai dilaksanakan, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan pelatihan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara langsung dengan para resepsionis hotel. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan bahasa Inggris bagi resepsionis hotel ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris mereka. Dalam kesimpulannya, pelatihan bahasa Inggris bagi resepsionis hotel ini dapat memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi para resepsionis hotel dan tamu-tamu asing yang datang. Diharapkan pelatihan ini dapat menjadi contoh bagi hotel-hotel lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dalam menyambut tamu-tamu asing di Indonesia

This study aimed to investigate how the project â€“ based learning was implemented to facilitate the development of studentsâ€™ critical thinking skills in English essay writing in higher education context. An exploratory case study research design was used in this study while the participants were one lecturer and 15 students. The data were gleaned from classroom observations, interview, and documents. The data analysis results that teaching English essay writing in which project- based learning was implemented covers three stages including preparation, implementation, and presentation. The other result from data analysis shows that the students can write essay cohesively and coherently in which this results indicates studentsâ€™ critical thinking skills. Â The results lead to the conclusion that all of the students had chance to be actively involved during the project and in teaching and learning prosess. It indicates that project â€“ based learning apparently could facilitate the development of studentsâ€™ critical thinking in English essay writing.

TOEIC is one indicator for mastery of English language skills. SMKN 1 Kadipaten and SMKN 1 Majalengka are two vocational schools that get the opportunity for a free TOEIC test from Ministry of Education and Culture. This research was conducted to find out how students' learning strategies in the pandemic dealing with the TOEIC test to achieve high scores related to learning situations during the pandemic. The study was conducted on the12th grade students in two vocational schools. Data were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to students in the two vocational schools, observations and interviews with English teachers. The most of them said they didn’t prepare specially for the test (61,9%). For learning strategy they used, just prepare by browse and look at TOEIC tutorial video (24,2%), discuss with a friend (11%), and 6,6% said they did the exercise from the sources that teacher shared. Only 1,6% who got guidance from teacher by WhatsApp chat, 4,9% by direct explanation, 0,5% by zoom/google meet. In conclusion, they used learning strategy by self-study. The lack of guidance from the teachers caused their TOEIC test score to be low. This is also correlated with their low awareness of the benefits of taking the TOEC test. They said did the test just for experience (51,9%). To improve test results in the future, it is very necessary to have more intensive guidance from teachers and also to growth motivation so that they have the purpose to get the best results.

This research explores the extensive have an effect on of virtual generation on the improvement of English literacy in university college students. The effect of digital systems on literacy abilities is becoming an important discipline of studies as they keep to dominate conversation and getting to know environments. It examines how digital technology might enhance literacy via interactive and multimodal getting to know tools, in addition to the problems they pose, such as the growth in casual language use associated diversions. Data become collected from semester four through qualitative method which includes surveys, interviews and observation, to evaluate alterations in reading and writing competencies. The outcomes show that digital tools can decorate reading comprehension with personalized and attractive content material, however they also can promote fragmented reading habits and casual writing patterns. The article explores the consequences of these findings for instructional practices proposing a properly-rounded use of digital generation in literacy practice to maximize their benefits at the same time as minimizing their negative aspects. The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using the Student-Centered Learning (SCL) method to develop the speaking skill of second grade students. This research applied classrooom action research. The population of this research was the second-grade students that were XI IPA as experimental class and the research sample was selected using purposive sampling technique to determine the sample. The data were collected through pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using formula to calculating the mean score of the pre-test and the post-test. The results showed that the mean differences between using Teacher-Centered Learning method and when using Student-Centered Learning method. Pre-test result got 14.3 score and Post-test 17.56, which means that the use of SCL has an impact on students speaking achievement.

Students has many problems in reading comprehension are lack of focus on student understanding and making the class passive by teacher, students lack of motivation and students vocabulary difficulties to overcome these problems. Teacher implement know, want and learned (KWL) strategy to enhance students’ reading comprehension. The purpose of research analyze students’ results in reading comprehension towards the use of KWL strategy and to reveal students’ perceptions towards the use of KWL strategy in reading comprehension. In this research conducted at the eveleventh grade of one of senior high schools in academic 2022. The reseacher use qualitative clasroom action research (CAR) as the method of the research in which to identify and to solve the problem on students’ reading comprehension. In this clasroom action research which consided of two cycle and each cycle consisted of four phases, they are planning, acting, observing and reflecting. To collect and analyze the data the reseacher gained the information from observation, questionnaire and based on the result of questionnaire students have a positive perception in reading comprehension using KWL strategy. The students’ result in pre-test and post-test support the data collected, the result the pre – test 1.480 mean was 44.8 in percentages 44,8% and post – test 2.180 mean was 66 in percentages 6,6%. Meanwhile, in this research there is an improvement of students’ reading comprehension by using KWL strategy.
