Abstract

The learning process is inspiring, fun, challenging, and motivates students to participate actively, providing space for students to be creative according to their abilities. Therefore we need a learning method with an appropriate approach in order to explore student abilities in aspects of skills. Learning with discovery learning approach is one approach that can be applied to develop students' skills, namely the ability to think creatively. Learning by discovery emphasizes the activities of students to learn on their own and eventually will find results. Here the teacher is no longer a giver of knowledge but acts as a facilitator or supervisor. That is because the discovery learning approach provides opportunities for students to explore thinking skills in finding their own knowledge and building creative reasoning according to their respective abilities. Indirectly students will be directed to become a researcher who is required to have the ability to think creatively.

Abstract

Rumah sakit merupakan fasilitas Kesehatan yang penting keberadaanya di Kota Mataram, namun limbah yang tidak terolah dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kualitas limbah cair rumah sakit Kota Mataram pada parameter BOD dan COD. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dengan survei deskriptif berbasis Laboratorium. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan yang dilakukan di 8 rumah sakit kota mataram yaitu yang tidak memenuhi baku mutu terdapat 4 rumah sakit pada kadar BOD karena melebih 30 mg/L, antara lain Siloam Hospitals Mataram sebesar 40.4 mg/L, Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Mataram 96,6 mg/L, Rumah Sakit Katolik Santo Antonius 40,2 mg/L, Rumah Sakit Risa Sentra Medika 108,6 mg/L, sedangkan kadar COD yang tidak memenuhi syarat karena melebih 100 mg/L, yaitu Siloam Hospitals Mataram sebesar 120 mg/L, Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Mataram 200 Mg/L, Rumah Sakit Harapan Keluarga 104 Mg/L, Rumah Sakit Katolik Santo Antonius 136 mg/L, Rumah Sakit Risa Sentra Medika 232 mg/L. Kadar BOD dan COD pada Rumah Sakit Kota Mataram tersebut merujuk pada standar baku mutu menurut peraturan pemerintah Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan no.68 tahun 2016 dan tidak memenuhi syarat yang diperbolehkan sehingga perlu dilakukan pengolahan terlebih dahulu sebelum dialirkan ke lingkungan
