Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on changing health behavior. Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 that are considered effective according to epidemiologists are through improving health behavior. The suggested behavior is 5M behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing online education through audiovisual media on the behavior of the 5M Covid-19 Task Force. This type of research was a pre-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest research design. The subjects of this study were 35 members of the Covid-19 Task Force in Dauhwaru Village, Jembrana District, Jembrana Regency who were selected using the total population sampling technique. Knowledge and attitudes were measured using a questionnaire, while actions were measured through observation using the 5M behavior checklist sheet. The results showed that the 5M behavior before being given education were: the majority knowledge was in the sufficient category (71.4%), the majority attitude was in the good category (68.6%) and the majority action was in the good category (91.2%); while after being given education, the majority of knowledge was in the good category (77.1%), the majority's attitude was in the good category (100%) and the majority's action was in the good category (100%). The p-value for the behavioral difference test between before and after education was 0.000 (there is a significant difference). Furthermore, it is concluded that online education through audiovisual media has a positive effect on the behavior of the 5M Covid-19 Task Force.Keywords: Covid-19; online education; audio visual; 5M behaviorABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 menimbulkan dampak yang besar dalam perubahan perilaku kesehatan. Upaya pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19 yang dianggap efektif menurut pakar epidemiologi adalah melalui perbaikan perilaku kesehatan. Perilaku yang disarankan yaitu perilaku 5M. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi secara online melalui media audiovisual terhadap perilaku 5M Satgas Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 35 anggota Satgas Covid-19 di Desa Dauhwaru, Kecamatan Jembrana, Kabupaten Jembrana yang dipilih dengan teknik total population sampling. Pengetahuan dan sikap diukur menggunakan koesioner, sedangkan tindakan diukur melalui observasi menggunakan lembar checklist perilaku 5M. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku 5M sebelum diberikan edukasi adalah: pengetahuan mayoritas dalam kategori cukup (71,4%), sikap mayoritas dalam kategori baik (68,6%) dan tindakan mayoritas dalam kategori baik (91,2%); sedangkan sesudah diberikan edukasi, pengetahuan mayoritas dalam kategori baik (77,1%), sikap mayoritas dalam kategori baik (100%) dan tindakan tindakan mayoritas dalam kategori baik (100%). Adapun nilai p untuk uji perbedaan perilaku antara sebelum dan sesudah edukasi adalah 0,000 (ada perbedaan secara signifikan). Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa edukasi secara online melalui media audiovisual berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku 5M Satgas Covid-19.Kata kunci: Covid-19; edukasi online; audiovisual; perilaku 5M

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is happening all over the world including Indonesia. To work around this, restrictions on activities are carried out, so that people, especially teenagers, turn to social media. TikTok is a music video platform that is widely used during the pandemic. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the use of social media TikTok and the emotional intelligence of adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study applied a cross-sectional approach, involving 76 people selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed via WhatsApp using the Google Form. Correlation test was performed using the Spearman test. The results of the analysis showed that the p value was 0.000 and the r value was -0.483. It could be interpreted that there was negative correlation between the use of social media TikTok 19 and the emotional intelligence of adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic. It can be concluded that the higher the use of social media, the lower the emotional intelligence of adolescents.Keywords: COVID-19 pandemic; teenager; TikTok; emotional intelligence ABSTRAK Pandemi COVID-19 terjadi di seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia. Untuk menyiasatinya, dilakukan pembatasan kegiatan, sehingga masyarakat khususnya remaja beralih ke media sosial. TikTok merupakan platform video musik yang banyak digunakan di masa pandemi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan media sosial TikTok dengan kecerdasan emosional remaja pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan cross-sectional, dengan melibatkan 76 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar melalui WhatsApp dengan menggunakan Google Form. Uji korelasi dilakukan menggunakan uji Spearman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai p adalah 0,000 dan nilai r adalah -0,483. Dapat ditafsirkan bahwa ada korelasi negatif antara penggunaan media sosial TikTok 19 dengan kecerdasan emosional remaja pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi penggunaan media sosial, semakin rendah kecerdasan emosional remaja.Kata kunci: pandemi COVID-19; remaja; TikTok; kecerdasan emosional
