Abstract

Bundaran Kecil intersection is close to Tambun Bungai intersection, so vehicle must stop at each intersection because it gets red signal. To reduce delay and queue, signal coordination is required. Primary data include vehicle volume, geometric intersection and roundabout, signal timing, saturation flow, and travel time. Method used are Indonesian highway capacity manual (IHCM) 1997 and saturation flow approach method. From analysis, on roundabout, degree of saturation at weaving DA (R. T. A. Milono street - G. Obos street) reached 0.901. On signalized intersection, average delay value is > 60 sec/pcu (LOS F). Best scenario is 8th scenario with cycle time of 90 seconds and has LOS D. Based on coordination diagram obtained offset of 40 seconds and bandwidth of 13 seconds.

Abstract

The development of coronavirus or Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan is currently increasingly worrying. All areas in this province are now in red zone status. This transmission is very fast spreading, so we are doing outreach to the community at Budi Mulya Orphanage, Palangka Raya City, implementing 6 recommended handwashing steps to kill the Covid 19 virus that sticks to our fingers. Washing hands with soap is one of the sanitation measures to prevent disease. Even WHO also recommends 6 steps in washing the palms of hands, the palms of backs of hands, between the fingers, the backs of hands, the thumbs, and the tips of fingers. The last method of washing hands is to clean soap with running water and dry it. To support the 6-step handwashing program, we are working with the orphanage's leadership to make a table for a water storage basin used for washing hands. The table is made permanent, made of reinforced concrete, whose composition of the reinforced concrete mixture is mixed with processed rattan waste that is no longer used as a substitute for concrete fiber. The rattan waste mixture used was 0.25% of the total volume of concrete.

Abstract

Yasmin Mother and Child Hospital in Palangkaraya City is one of the Class C Hospitals in Central Kalimantan. Yasmin Hospital has become one of the most visited hospitals every day. During visiting hours there was an increase in the need for parking spaces at Yasmin RSIA, so that vehicles that would not use the parking area were not accommodated. This study aims to evaluate the capacity of the parking lot at the RSIA Yasmin Palangka Raya City and provide suggestions for improvement to the Yasmin RSIA. Primary data were obtained from direct observations which included measurements of the number of parking lots, parking area, time count and circulation of the number of vehicles. Furthermore, the data were analyzed to obtain parking characteristics which include parking volume, parking accumulation, parking duration, parking change, parking capacity, and parking index. Based on the results of the analysis, the maximum accumulated vehicle parking occurs on Monday, the motorcycle parking index exceeds 100%, meaning that parking needs exceed normal parking capacity. The proposed improvement is to use the basement as a parking lot to increase the capacity of parking spaces and to arrange parking patterns and parking circulation

Abstract

Sampah merupakan permasalahan lingkungan yang paling mendasar di masyarakat. Penanganan yang tidak maksimal akan berakibat pada timbulnya permasalahan tersumbatnya saluran air hingga banjir. Adanya genangan air mengindikasikan bahwa air permukaan tidak dapat diserap oleh tanah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di MTs Hidayatul Muhajirin, Kelurahan Palangka, Kota Palangka Raya, yang sering terendam banjir saat terjadi hujan dengan durasi lebih dari 8 jam. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah upaya peningkatan pemahaman kepada peserta didik tentang kesadaran menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan peka terhadap permasalahan banjir yang sering terjadi di lingkungan tempat tinggal peserta didik. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan pemaparan materi kepada peserta didik kemudian pelatihan pembuatan lubang resapan biopori di halaman sekolah. Adanya praktik pembuatan lubang resapan biopori ini peserta didik diharapkan bisa menerapkannya di rumah masing-masing dengan peralatan yang sederhana dan memanfaatkan sampah organik maupun anorganik.

Abstract

Bus transportation existence in Central Kalimantan is very important because it is able to carry out mass transportation, connecting and reaching all areas of Central Kalimantan. This research was conducted to obtain the appropriate amount of vehicle operating costs and passenger fares to be applied under normal conditions and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, namely vehicle operating costs components data and passenger trips data. Analysis was carried out based on Decree of Transportation Minister No. KM. 89 of 2002. Vehicle operating costs per seat kilometer for the Palangka Raya – Pangkalan Bun route on the Damri Bus are IDR 131.04/seat-km, while the Logos Bus is IDR 170.97/seat-km. Under normal conditions, the Damri Bus fare is IDR 190,453/passenger, while the Logos Bus fare is IDR 134,241/passenger. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Damri Bus fare was IDR 216,707/pnp, while the Logos bus fare was IDR 198,435/pnp.
