Peran guru dalam pendidikan karakter sangat penting. Melalui pendidikan karakter, guru diharapkan menjadi pribadi yang membuka alam dan pikir serta jiwa, mampu mencerahkan, memupuk nilai-nilai keteladanan, nilai-nilai perilaku, nilai-nilai kasih sayang, nilai-nilai moralitas, serta nilai-nilai kebhinekaan. Mengingat guru menjadi kunci sukses pendidikan karakter, maka perlu dipikirkan bagaimana menyiapkan atau mendidik calon guru yang berkarakter unggul. Melalui Program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, terdapat 5 nilai karakter yang bersumber dari Pancasila yang dapat dikembangkan dalam pendidikan calon guru agama katolik, yaitu nilai karakter religius, nasionalisme, integritas, mandiri dan gotong-royong. Pendidikan karakter bagi calon guru, khususnya guru agama katolik tidak cukup hanya melalui pembiasaan. Perlu upaya internalisasi juga, salah satunya melalui kegiatan meditasi. Terdapat tiga metode meditasi yang sering digunakan dalam pembinaan calon guru agama katolik, yaitu metode kitab suci, metode Ignatius Loyola dan metode Teresia Avila. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan responden adalah mahasiswa calon guru agama katolik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode yang paling banyak digunakan dalam kegiatan meditasi adalah metode kitab suci. Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan meditasi dapat mengembangkan karakter religius, nasionalisme, integritas, mandiri dan gotong-royong bagi calon guru agama katolik.

God has created man in pairs. God presents a friend worthy of human life and gives it to him. God does not let man himself. Man is God's partner in managing the universe and everything in it. The sacrament of marriage is a sign and means derived from God that is useful to unite men and women to become married couples. Choosing to become a husband and wife is a call and a very noble lifestyle for everyone. Family life makes men and women united through the bonds of the sacrament of marriage. The sacred promise of marriage is the goal of happy and eternal marriage for catholic families that must be manifested in mutual respect, mutual love, mutual acceptance of each other, loving, honest, open, trusting and always grateful. The development of this era, threaten the survival ofthe family. The development of this era cannot be separated from the flow of globalization, where the family also responds to the flow of globalization that can attract every member of the family has an attitude of individualism, materialism, consumerism, and hedonism. It is also experienced by catholic families, especially young families who are trying to build a prosperous family. Welfare is championed even to have to work in another city leaving family members, this decision ultimately young families have the challenge of distance and time. The young Christian families who has the challenge of distance and time is a Christian family built over a period of 1 to 5 years apart distance and time with family members. This research uses a qualitative approach. The respondents of this study were Christian families built over a period of 1 to 5 years apart from time and distance with family members residing in the parish of St. Cornelius and parish Mater Dei, Madiun. The number of respondents are 7 young Christian families. Based on the results of the study, young Christian families with the challenges of distance and time experienced difficulties and impacts on three things: limited time shared by family, lack of father or mother figure, and relationship between parent and child. The pastoral opportunities for pastoral workers can do are emphasizing the pastoral function of guiding and nurturing.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. By the Holy Spirit, the Church encouraged, built, developed, and has the power to constantly strive to become witnesses of Christ. The Holy Spirit is always present in the entire journey of the Church. He has always worked through a variety of ways. One of the ways the Holy Spirit present in the Church is to call the catechists to participate in the work of the mission that carried the Church. For catechists Holy Spirit plays a role as important as he is present in the Church. The Holy Spirit is believed to be the soul of the Church and souls catechists in carrying out the mission in the world. For catechists, the Holy Spirit to realize that mission work is the work of God; Holy Spirit calling catechists at once become a major force for catechists; The Holy Spirit guides to the truth; and the Holy Spirit giving guidance to the mission of catechists.

Catholic parents are the first and primary teacher for their children, that precious task could not be replaced by anyone else. Teachers in the school could not be said as first and primary educators, because their task is just to help parents to deepen their children's knowledge. Catholic parents should choose opportune school to develop children's faith, because this time many parents are busy with their work until they forget with this main task to teach their children about faith. Catholic school is a right option for developing children's faith so children are more believe in Jesus Christ. The result of this research in general, showed that Catholic parents reveal indeed very important of Catholic children schooled at Catholic School. The Catholic parents want the faith of Catholicism owned by children can be nurtured from an early age to adulthood later. Catholic parents really aware of the limitations in fostering the faith of children. Therefore, some Catholic parents prefer to schooled their children in Catholic school in accordance with the mandate of Gravissimum Educationis.

Ketidakpastian tentang masa depannya menyebabkan remaja sering gelisah. Secara positifkegelisahan ini wajar karena remaja tidak memahami akan seperti apa masa depannya sehingga terdorong untuk menyiapkan diri sebaik mungkin. Namun apabila keadaan ini tidak disikapi secara tepat justru akan menyebabkan remaja putus asa dan jatuh terpuruk, bahkan teralienasi dari Gereja, lingkungan sekitar dan Tuhan. Gereja dipanggil untuk membantu remaja mempersiapkan masa depannya melalui pendampingan pastoral dengan tujuan memberi kemampuan dan kepercayaan diri pada remaja agar mampu mengatasi sendiri berbagai persoalan dan konflik yang dihadapi serta mempersiapkan masa depan remaja dan Gereja itu sendiri. Bentuk pendampingan yang paling riil adalah pendampingan melalui sakramen rekonsiliasi dan reksa pastoral remaja.

Gereja masa depan tidak bisa terpisah dari mutu pendidikan iman anak-anak saat ini. Untuk itu, sejak dini anak-anak perlu mendapat pendidikan iman yang bermutu sedini mungkin. Hal itu berarti bahwa anak-anak perlu belajar tidak hanya dengan model klasikal namun perlu dengan bentuk yang lain. Melihat hal tersebut, pendidikan yang berangkat dari pengalaman berkomunitas menjadi alternatif yang perlu dipikirkan kembali. Dalam pendidikan pengalaman berkomunitas, setiap pribadi belajar dari pengalaman untuk bersedia saling memberikan diri bagi orang lain dan saling mendukung bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan setiap pribadi secara utuh.

Dunia sangat membutuhkan dan mendambakan kedamaian. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak sekali terjadi kekerasan, termasuk kekerasan yang mengatasnamakan agama. Situasi tersebut tentu sangat bertentangan dengan tujuan utama dari setiap agama, yaitu men ciptakan kedamaian. Berhadapan dengan kenyataan tersebut, baik jika kita melihat kembali persekutuan yang terjalin dalam Allah Tritunggal. Melalui model persekutuan Allah Tritunggal, dapat dijadikan model berpastoral menciptakan perdamaian di tengah dunia pada masa kini.

In this very modern age, families run into changes. Changes in lifestyle, way to educate, knowledge, and soon. These changes have an impact on Christian evangelizers vocation. Even today, it is rarely that the parents let their children to become an evangelizer. The thing such like this is very unfortunate because the evangelizer is very less power whereas the Church still needs them. Nevertheless there are still also christian families who remained faithful in preserving christian values. Parents have an important role to instill christian values to their children in order to support the success of the instilling evangelizer vocations.

A catechist can be called a missionary and saint. This call is very appropriate considering their role in the missionary work of the Church. This research will answer two questions: (1) What is the role of catechists in the missionary work of the Church? (2) What is the professional catechism model in the midst of the needs of the world today? This study uses a qualitative method of literature study. Through this paper, it will be explained that in the mission of the Church, the catechist acts as a spokesman for the Christian congregation, a prophet, an educator and a witness. Where as the professional catechists needed are catechists who always present the Holy Spirit as their soul and missionary spirit while equipping themselves with skills and knowledge.
