Abstract

Jumapolo Subdistrict is area of Development Superior Commodities Agricultural Center of herbal medicine specially "emponempon ". This is influenced by motivations encourage farmers. Motivation is o good encouragement that comes form inside or outside individually or grouply. This Motivations encourage farmers to cultivate"}edicine plants. The elements of motivation are important for herbal medicine cultivation. Thus, the goals of this research is identify of motivation elements. From the result showed that farmer's motivation in herbar medicine cultivation was medium. The economical motivation was low and biological motivation motivation was more lower while the other factors psychological and sociological were higher.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to understanding poverty from the poorer live, so all of programs to eradicate poverty would consider all of aspects peasant life, social, culture, economy and ecology (holistic view). The background of this research are the failure poverty eradication programs because of uncomprehensive method. This research found there are many vurnerability context which faced by peasant, namely : fluctuation price of tobacco, impact of climate change and limited land (small land) and ecological degradation. In the case, there are five different types of capitals are the tobacco peasant families as disposal, namely : natural capital, physical capital, financial capital, human capital an social capital. The study found that there are many different type of mechanism to respon the vurnerability context, namely: accumulation strategy (large land), consolidation (medium land) and survival (small land). All these strategies (in normal and crisis situation) showed that peasant of this area very flexible mechanism to survive.

Abstract

This article tries to describe how the role of social empowerment in an effort to "enable" poor rural households. It is based on the likelihood empowerment program without first understand in detail what? Why are they poor and how the effort out of poverty ?. So many important aspects that actually needed to support the life of the community is not touched (physical capital, financial, human, social, cultural, natural, and others). Yet this is where the real important portion that should be played by the agent of change in an effort to expand access to essential assets required by poor households and improve the ability to manage the assets owned.

Abstract

Cyber extension is a form of internet-based information system that expected to facilitate an access of information about the development of innovation in agriculture. This study aims to determine the relationship between variables which affect the success of the information system by DeLone and McLean in the information system of cyber extension in Wonogiri Regency. The basic method used is quantitative with survey techniques. The research location is in Wonogiri Regency. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. The samples taken by 66 agricultural extension officers that include in 10 sub-district of Wonogiri Regency. Data collected by using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis performed using structural equation modeling based on partial least square. The results of this study are the system quality has an effect on use, system quality has no effect on user satisfaction, information quality has no effect on use, information quality has an effect on user satisfaction, use has no effect on user satisfaction, user satisfaction has no effect on use, use has no effect on the individual impact and user satisfaction has an effect on the individual impact. The information quality on the cyber extension website is related to the success of the cyber extension system. The information quality will help increase the individual impact on the users of the cyber extension website.
