Abstract

Komunikasi dalam kegiatan penyuluhan agama sangat diperlukan dikarenakan penyuluhan membutuhkan orang-orang dengan kemampuan komunikasi yang baik. Dalam hal ini, ketika penyuluhan agama di lakukan oleh penyuluh yang mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik maka tujuan dari penyuluhan tersebut akan tersalurkan ke masyarakat dengan baik. Komunikasi adalah suatu proses ketika seseorang atau beberapa orang, kelompok, organisasi, dan masyarakat menciptakan, dan menggunakan informasi agar terhubung dengan lingkungan dan orang lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemaparan materi kepada para penyuluh agama Kristen di Kabupaten Toba. Kegiatan dilakukan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Penyuluh Agama (PPA) IAKN Tarutung guna meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi Penyuluh Agama Kristen di Kabupaten Toba. Diharapkan hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan penyuluh dalam setiap kegiatan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat binaan mereka masing-masing. Communication in religious counseling activities is very necessary because counseling requires people with good communication skills. In this case, when religious counseling is carried out by extension workers who are able to communicate well, the purpose of the counseling will be transfered to the community well. Communication is a process when a person or people, groups, organizations, and society create and use information to connect with environment and other people. The method which is used in this activity was to explain material exposure to Christian religious educators in Toba Regency. The activity was carried out by Pendidikan Penyuluh Agama (PPA) of IAKN Tarutung in order to improve the communication competence of Christian Religion Counselors in Toba Regency. It is hoped that the results of this activity can increase the knowledge of religion counselors in their activity to educate the society.

Abstract

Christian Religious Counseling for young men and women of the HKBP Pagar Beringin Church, Sipoholon District, North Tapanuli Regency, faces challenges in the digital era such as secularism, the influence of social media, and a crisis of faith identity among Naposobulung (aged 18-35 years unmarried), who are vulnerable to losing their passion for church service. This study uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenological approach with semi-structured in-depth interviews, participant observation during bimluh and services, and document analysis such as the Guidance Guidance Manuscript (BP) and the 2024 HKBP Naposobulung Guidebook for 25-30 informants from Ministry of Religious Affairs counselors, young men and women, and congregation councils. The results show that effective counseling through interactive methods (thematic Bible studies, group discussions, digital media) increases spiritual growth, service participation, and resilience to digital ethics issues and promiscuity, despite being hampered by cross-sectoral coordination and digital literacy of counselors. The synergy between IAKN Tarutung and the church has resulted in holistic empowerment, strengthening the regeneration of the church's three tasks (kerygma, leitourgia, diakonia).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation and effectiveness of the Thematic Approach to Understanding God's Creation Days 1 to 6 in the spiritual development of early childhood education at Little Joshua Christian Preschool. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with observation, image media, and activity documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of this thematic approach is very effective because it bridges the story of Creation with the sensory experiences of early childhood. Here, each day of creation (such as light and dark, water, plants, animals, and humans) is explored interactively and tangibly. Children show very positive and enthusiastic responses. This study found that the thematic approach to God's Creation is a useful and important approach for building strong Christian faith and fostering a character that appreciates the Creator's magnificent work in early childhood.
