Abstract

Adolescence is known as a critical and dynamic period. At this period, adolescents also have abundant energy. This energy certainly needs to be channeled to the right way or otherwise it potentially turned into the wrong way. The community devotion in the form of fiction writing training is one of the ways to channel the adolescent energy. It carried out with lectures, discussions, accompaniments and practices methods. The target of community devotion joined the training with great enthusiasm. The result achieved from this community devotion is that the target of community devotion became able to write uptheir ideas and creativities in the form of fiction.

Abstract

Tertib berlalu lintas adalah hal utama bagi semua pengendara atau pengguna jalan terutama di jalan raya. Namun, belum semua pengguna jalan raya mau untuk tertib berlalu lintas. Bukan hanya melanggar aturan yang berlaku seperti tidak membawa surat-surat berkendara dan melanggar rambu-rambu lalu lintas, namun juga mengakibatkan kecelakaan dengan korban luka hingga meninggal dunia. Terkait dengan permasalahan itulah maka digelar kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan tertib berlalu lintas dalam rangka meningkatkan kesadaran berkendara di masyarakat. Penyuluhan ini diselenggarakan pada Rabu, 26 Agustus 2020 bertempat di Balai Desa Taji, Juwiring, Klaten. Peserta berjumlah sekitar 50-an orang terutama dari kalangan remaja dengan materi utama mengenai tertib berlalu lintas. Pemateri berasal dari Satlantas Polres Klaten dan tim dosen Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan empat metode utama penyampaian materi, yakni presentasi video, ceramah, diskusi dan praktik di lapangan. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya wawasan peserta tentang tertib berlalu lintas sehingga meningkat pula kesadaran untuk berkendara dengan baik dan benar di jalan raya

Abstract

Desa Wisata saat ini menjadi salah satu tren pariwisata di Tanah Air. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal, banyak desa berlomba mempercantik diri agar bisa menjadi destinasi wisata. Hadirnya beragam teknologi digital utamanya internet dan media sosial menjadikan pariwisata desa-desa wisata di Tanah Air kian semarak. Namun, pandemi COVID-19 menjadikan banyak desa wisata di Indonesia ikut terdampak akibat penurunan jumlah wisatawan, salah satunya Desa Sidowayah, Kecamatan Polanharjo, Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah. Terkait dengan itu, untuk meningkatkan kembali kekuatan citra (branding) Desa Sidowayah sebagai destinasi wisata, maka Research Group D3 Komunikasi Terapan Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta menyelenggarakan workshop penguatan manajemen media digital desa wisata. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan pada Selasa, 5 Juli 2022 di Pendopo Umbul Siblarak, Desa Sidowayah, Klaten. Kegiatan dihadiri sekitar 20 peserta dari kalangan badan usaha milik desa, kelompok sadar wisata, pengelola media digital desa dan karang taruna. Materi kegiatan berupa penyegaran prinsip-prinsip manajemen profesional dalam tata kelola media digital desa wisata secara profesional meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengevaluasian. Selain itu, disampaikan tentang strategi teknis pembuatan media konten untuk berbagai platform media sosial.

Abstract

Public service innovation across various levels of government represents a positive sign of progress in Indonesia’s bureaucratic reform efforts. In practice, however, it is essential to ensure that such innovations genuinely enhance the public value of existing services so that they effectively address the needs of service recipients. Field evidence indicates that the implementation of public service innovations continues to face multiple challenges. The public value generated by an innovation may vary—or even fail—when viewed from the perspectives of different stakeholder groups. This study examines these dilemmas, an area that remains relatively underexplored. Employing a qualitative approach that includes in-depth interviews, observation, and a review of relevant literature, the research finds that failures in public value often arise from inherent dilemmas within public service innovation itself. Accordingly, government administrators are expected to develop a clear understanding of the values that should be embedded in the public service innovations they implement. Furthermore, attention must be paid to variations in social conditions and local cultures, as enhancing public value requires alignment between the values underpinning innovation and the cultural context of the community it serves. Finally, public sector organizations, as the primary agents of practical implementation, must provide legitimate mechanisms to reconcile value conflicts when they arise.

Abstract

This paper explores the contributions of classical Islamic philosophy of science to the modern interdisciplinary research landscape. The study focuses on how key philosophical principles such as the concept of ‘ilm al-tawḥīdī (unity of knowledge) and the integration of ethics and spirituality can enhance contemporary research methodologies. Islamic philosophy advocates for a holistic approach that bridges the gap between empirical science and metaphysical insights, promoting a unified view of knowledge that incorporates not only rational and empirical elements but also ethical and spiritual dimensions. The paper discusses how Islamic ethical frameworks, such as Adab al-‘ilm (ethics of knowledge), can influence modern research by emphasizing responsibility, integrity, and the interconnectedness of all forms of knowledge. Additionally, the study highlights the potential for integrating Islamic epistemology into interdisciplinary research, fostering more inclusive, responsible, and ethically grounded scientific practices. The integration of both Islamic and secular research models is proposed as a way to create a more robust and sustainable research framework that values both scientific rigor and ethical responsibility. The paper also addresses the challenges of reconciling Islamic principles with secular academic frameworks, suggesting future research avenues to develop systematic methodologies that integrate Islamic ethical and epistemological values with modern scientific practices. In conclusion, the paper emphasizes the importance of incorporating both spiritual and empirical insights in modern research to address complex global challenges in a more comprehensive and ethically grounded manner.
