Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between work environment and self concept with burnout. The study was conducted at the mobile brigade police of the Republic of Indonesia North Sumatra in the city of Medan. The number of respondents in this study were 196 members of the mobile brigade with non probability sampling techniques. Based on Spearman rank data analysis obtained a significant level between work environment (X1) with burnout (Y) with a significant value of 0,000 0,05, meaning that there is a partial relationship between work environment and burnout. While the relationship of self-concept (X2) with burnout (Y) with a significant value of 0,000 0.05. This proves that there is a partial relationship between self-concept and burnout. While the significance level of the work environment (X1) and self-concept (X2) with burnout (Y) with a significant value of 0,000 0,05 are related simultaneously, then the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The correlation between work environment and self concept with burnout on members of the mobile brigade in the city of Medan, North Sumatra is 56%.

Abstract

Effect of Work Motivation on the Performance of Labuhan Batu Private University Lecturers]. This study aims to determine and analyze work motivation directly affect the performance of Labuhan Batu Private University lecturers. Subjects were Labuhan Batu Private University lecturers with a total sample of 125 people, taken by means of a random sampling formula using the Slovin formula, and data were analyzed using path analysis after calculating the correlation of all research variables in the form of a matrix. The research findings obtained work motivation has a direct effect on the positive performance of Labuhan Batu Private University lecturers. Obtained a significant path coefficient between work motivation and lecturer performance, namely: ρ65 = 0.21. Furthermore, based on the calculation of the direct influence of work motivation with lecturer performance of 0.212 = 0.044. Thus, work motivation that directly determines changes in lecturer performance is 4.4%. Abstrak Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Labuhan Batu]. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan menganalisis motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Labuhan Batu. Subjek penelitian adalah dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Labuhan Batu dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 orang, yang diambil dengan cara rumus random sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin, dan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur setelah dihitung korelasi seluruh variabel penelitian dalam bentuk matriks. Hasil temuan penelitian diperoleh Motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap positif kinerja dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Labuhan Batu. diperoleh koefisien jalur yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja dengan Kinerja dosen, yaitu: ρ65 = 0,21, Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja dengan kinerja dosen sebesar 0,212 =0,044. Dengan demikian, motivasi kerja yang secara langsung menentukan perubahan- perubahan kinerja dosen adalah sebesar 4,4 %. Kata Kunci: motivasi kerja, kinerja dosen

Abstract

Data obtained from dapodik as many as 934 high schools throughout Indonesia that provide education with dormitory services. The proliferation of boarding schools is inseparable from the quality of education provided by the school. Until today, there is no quality standard for boarding schools because each school has its own peculiarities / characteristics and is no exception at SMAN 2 Plus Panyabungan mandailing Natal regency, North Sumatra. In this study using qualitative descriptive method. Data collection using documentation and literature techniques. Data analysis goes through several stages, namely data reduction, display data, and conclusion/verification. The results of this study show that: 1) The mapping of the quality of education carried out by boarding schools varies greatly but still refers to the National Education Standards; 2) Making a quality improvement plan as outlined in the School Work Plan in accordance with the excellence of boarding schools; 3) Implementation of quality fulfillment both in school management and the learning process in boarding schools using the government curriculum and parenting curriculum; 4) Monitoring and evaluating the process of implementing quality fulfillment in terms of the characteristics of boarding schools; 5) Setting new standards and developing quality improvement strategies based on the results of monitoring and evaluation.
