Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the relationship between self-efficacy and social support with coping stress on horticulture farmers. The study was conducted in Saribudolok sample random sampling with 160 horticultural farmers for vegetable farmers as sample. The methods of data collections is through coping stress scale (focused coping stress), self-efficacy scale, and social support scale (sosial support). The data analysis technique used multiple regression with the following results: 1) There is a positive relationship between self-efficacy with coping stress with Rxy = 0,464 with p 0,05; with 21.6% contribution 2) There is a positive relationship between social support relationship with coping stress with Rxy = 0,180 with p 0,05; with 3.2% contribution 3) There is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and social support with coping stress with F 23,072 and Rxy = 0,477 while R2 = 0,227 with p 0,05. The total effective contribution of self-efficacy variables and social support with stress coping is 22.7%. This means that there is still 77.3% influence from other factors to coping stress

Abstract

This research method uses quantitative methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of locus of control and spiritual intelligence on resilience. The population is 205 students with 8 classes and the sample is 92 with random sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between locus of control and resilience, there is an influence between locus of control and resilience, where the correlation coefficient tx1y = 2.435 with p = 0.017 means p <0.05. The results of this study prove that locus of control has a significant positive effect between locus of control and resilience, where the coefficient tx1y = 2.435 with p = 0.017, this means that the better the locus of control, the better resilience. The coefficient of r squared locus of control with the dependent variable of resilience is r2 = 0.094. This shows that resilience is formed by the locus of control with a contribution of 9.40%. In the spiritual intelligence variable with resilience there is also a significant positive effect between spiritual intelligence and resilience, where the coefficient tx2y = 3.840 with p = 0.000, this means that the better the spiritual intelligence, the better the resilience. The r-squared coefficient of spiritual intelligence with the dependent variable of resilience is r2 = 0.179. This indicates that resilience is formed by spiritual intelligence with a contribution of 17.90%. Similar results come from the interaction effect, there is a significant effect between locus of control, spiritual intelligence and resilience, where the coefficient F = 16,738; with p = 0.000 means p < 0.050. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the influence between predictors of locus of control, spiritual intelligence with the dependent variable resilience is r2 = 0.273. This shows that resilience is formed by locus of control and spiritual intelligence together with a contribution of 27.30%.

Abstract

Early childhood resilience is a process of assistance by PAUD educators to prepare early childhood to be able to face vulnerabilities and challenges, avoid setbacks, so that they are successful in all areas of life now and in the future, including being ready to adapt to elementary school. The expected child is an emotionally healthy child who can face vulnerabilities, challenges, and avoid setbacks. This study aims to determine the effect of grouping activities and collage activities on the resilience of children aged 5-6 years at RA Muslimat Al-Washliyah Tebing Tinggi City. This study used the Quasi-Experimental method with two forms of activities, namely collage activities and grouping activities. Where each activity is carried out six times, starting from the easiest activities to the most difficult activities. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire about 18 items of child resilience. Data analysis was performed by data description and hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results of the data analysis showed that: 1) The child's resilience score at the pretest of the Meronce activity total score was 232, the average was 38.67, the maximum was 41, and the minimum was 37. The child's resilience score at the posttest was the total score of 343, the average 57.17, maximum 58, minimum 56. 2) Resilience score of children during collage activities during pretest total score 343, average 57.17, maximum 58, minimum 56. Resilience score of children during posttest collage activities total score 353, average - average 58.83, maximum 60, minimum 57. 3) There is an effect of meronce activities on increasing children's resilience with a significance of 0.001 <0.05. 4) There is an effect of collage activities on increasing children's resilience with a significance of 0.002 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is an effect of collage and group activities on the resilience of children aged 5-6 years at RA Muslimat Al-Washliyah, Tebing Tinggi City.
