Abstract

During the pandemic Covid 19, everyone washes their hands more frequently, so the need for clean water are increased. Since a few years ago, drought has become a fundamental problem in several areas in Indonesia, including in Banjarsari village, Tanggamus district, Lampung province. As we know, rain is one of the most widely available water sources in nature and can be accessed for free. Good management of rain can not only overcome the problem of water availability in the dry season, but can also overcome the problem of excess water in the rainy season and can also minimize the use of funds. Therefore, harvesting rainwater in Banjarsari village can be used as an alternative to reduce the problem of lack of clean water for villagers during the dry season for a low cost. In this PKM activity, the PKM team from Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia has successfully installed a rainwater harvesting unit at the residence of the Banjarsari sub-district head. Based on the information from the Banjarsari sub-district head, after several months of installing rainwater harvesting equipment at his residence, rainwater can be stored during the rainy season and can be used during the dry season so that it can help reduce the problem of lack of clean water in the village.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify and inventory the facilities of Politeknik Negeri Lampung through the creation of a digital 2D map as a foundational step toward developing an interactive 3D campus map. Using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach, both spatial and non-spatial data were collected, including the location, function, dimensions, and physical condition of each campus facility. The resulting 2D map successfully visualizes the layout of buildings, practice fields, and supporting areas in accordance with actual field coordinates. This map serves as an essential basis for further 3D modeling and the development of a digital information platform for campus management and public use.  Keywords: 2D Map, GIS, Campus Facilities, Digital Mapping   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menginventarisasi fasilitas kampus Politeknik Negeri Lampung dalam bentuk peta 2D digital sebagai dasar pengembangan peta interaktif 3D. Melalui pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG), dilakukan pengumpulan data spasial dan nonspasial yang mencakup lokasi, fungsi, dimensi, dan kondisi setiap fasilitas kampus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peta 2D yang dihasilkan telah memvisualisasikan tata letak gedung, lahan praktikum, dan area penunjang kampus secara akurat sesuai koordinat lapangan. Peta ini diharapkan menjadi landasan penting bagi tahapan pemodelan tiga dimensi dan pengembangan media informasi kampus berbasis teknologi digital.  Kata Kunci: Peta 2D, SIG, Fasilitas Kampus, Digitalisasi
