Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi Kelompok Tani di Desa Bonto Marannu, Kecamatan Ulu Ere, Kabupaten Bantaeng, Sulawesi Selatan adalah rendahnya tingkat produktivitas tanaman kentang, dan tingginya penggunaan bahan kimia pada pertanaman kentang, serta  lemahnya dalam pengolahan hasil kentang. Tujuan Pelaksanaan Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) ini, antara lain: (a) Meningkatkan produktivitas, kualitas, nilai tambah, dan daya saing hasil kentang, (b) Meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani  kentang dan keluarganya, serta (c) Memfasilitasi proses percepatan hilirisasi teknologi produksi dan pengolahan hasil kentang. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pencapaian tujuan melalui tahapan: (a) Tahap sosialisasi program dan diskusi kelompok (b) Tahap pemberdayaan kelompok tani, (c) Tahap pengembangan, meliputi: teknik budidaya umbi kentang G5 (umbi konsumsi), dan (d) Tahap pengembangan pengolahan usaha industri rumah tangga berbahan baku kentang. Hasil pelaksanaan PPDM menunjukkan bahwa: a. Meningkatnya  produktivitas Benih Kentang G4 (benih sebar) dari 16 ton/ha menjadi 25 ton/ha, b. Meningkatnya produktivitas umbi kentang G5 (umbi konsumsi) dari 18 ton/ha menjadi 28 ton/ha, c. Kemampuan petani meningkat dalam pembuatan biopestisida, pupuk organik cair dan fungisida organik ±75%, dan  d. Kemampuan petani meningkat dalam pengolahan hasil kentang ±75%.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Kelompok Tani, Kentang, Ramah Lingkungan  Abstract. The main problems faced by the Farmer Group in Bonto Marannu Village, Ulu Ere Subdistrict, Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi are the low level of potato plant productivity, the high use of chemicals in potato cultivation, as well as the weak processing of potato products. The objectives of implementing this partner village development program (PVDP) are: (a) increasing productivity, quality, added value, and competitiveness of potato products, (b) improving the welfare of potato farmers and their families, and (c) facilitating the process of accelerating downstream production technology and potato processing. The method used in achieving the goal is through the following stages: (a) Program socialization stage and group discussion, (b) farmer group empowerment stage, and (c) Development stages, including: G5 potato tuber cultivation techniques (consumption bulbs) and (d). The development stage of the home industry business processing made from potato. The results of the PVDP implementation show that: a. Increased productivity of G4 potato seeds (scattered seeds) from 16 tons/ha to 25 tons/ha, b. Increased productivity of G5 potato tubers (consumption tubers) from 18 tons/ha to 28 tons/ha, c. The ability of farmers to increase in the production of biopesticides, liquid organic fertilizers and organic fungicides, and d. The ability of farmers to increase in potato processing ± 75%.Keywords: Empowerment, Farmer groups, Potatoes, Environmentally friendly

Abstract

The Partners of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are seaweed farmer groups, namely the partner group (1) Malelaya, its leader Sampara, and the partner group (2) Bina Mandiri, chaired by Daeng Nyau, who has a desire to develop a seaweed processing business in the lawi lawi becomes a new product, so it can be an alternative business. The problem of partners is not having the knowledge and skills in seaweed processing that can be marketed in the form of fast food. Another problem is that the type of seaweed jens lawi-selling is very low and easily damaged, so that it requires another alternative to be used as additional income in the family in particular. The implementation methods are: lectures, demonstrations, discussions, questions and answers, and assistance. The results achieved are (1) Partners have knowledge in seaweed processing. (2) The partner has knowledge and skills in processing pestle pestle pestle. (3) Partners have skills in making seaweed meatballs. (4) Mitra has various types of seaweed meatballs entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

Ulu Ere subdistrict in Bantaeng regency is one of potential areas for the development of potato crop.However, the Farmers Groups in this area are still using traditional techniques to cultivate the potatoes withoutadequate cultivation technology innovations which technically makes the management of potato cultivation systemsneeds to be improved with the Partner Village Development Program (PPDM). The methods in this PPDM programare: counseling, demonstration, and action research with several stages: a) program socialization and groupdiscussion and b) Farmer Group Empowerment which includes a technique of cutting cuttings in husk charcoal inscreen house, technique of seedling for G1 seeds (Basic-1) in an open field, technique of demonstration area for G2seeds (Basic-2), and guidance on processing food made of potatoes. The results obtained from the PPDM programare: a) observations on cuttings propagation in screen house show ±90% of cuttings survived, ±10% withered, andfree from pests and diseases, b) observations on techniques of seedlings for G1 seeds show that 10% of the cropswas attacked by pests and diseases, and the productivity shows an improvement to ±15 tons/ha (previously only ±8tons/ha), and c) observations on demonstration area for G2 seeds show only ±85% of the seeds grow normally, and15% of the plant were attacked by pests and diseases with the productivity increased to ±18 tons/ ha (previouslyonly ±10 tons/ha), and guidance for processing food made of potato shows the participation and the knowledge ofthe Farmers Group had increased. PPDM as a program will provide significant benefits to improve the prosperous ofFarmers Group and community.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is the dissemination of seaweed postharvest assistance technology tofarmer groups in Punaga Takalar Village. Application of seaweed postharvest technology is expected to help increase the incomeof seaweed farmers, as a result of community service, it is expected that there will be a change in mindset and protection forfarmers regarding seaweed postharvest handling techniques. The method used in this activity is PRA (Participatory RuralAppraisal), which involves seaweed farmers in the activity. Carry out socialization (counseling), training. The results of theservice show that there are changes in the patterns of thinking and protection patterns of farmers regarding the handling ofseaweed postharvest related to how to handle postharvest seaweed better, and in accordance with improving quality.

Abstract

Abstrak. Limbah bahan organik seperti sampah rumah tangga dan pasar banyak terdapat di masyarakat Desa Majannang dan dalam pengelolaan lingkungan pengetahuan masyarakat akan pemanfaatan limbah sampah organik masih terbatas. Masyarakat pembudidaya di Desa Majannang juga menghadapi meningkatnya harga pakan udang dan ikan, sehingga membuat pembudidaya harus mencari alternative lain untuk menekan biaya pakan. Budidaya Maggot BSF solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dalam Program Matching Fund Kedeireka Universitas Bosowa kali ini melaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan budidaya Maggot BSF sebagai alternative pakan udang dan ikan yang dilaksanakan di desa Majannang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yakni pelatihan partisipatif dalam kegiatan ceramah, diskusi dan praktek budidaya Maggot BSF. Hasil pelatihan ini dalah tersedianya Maggot BSF sebagai bahan pembuat pakan udang dan ikan dan adanya pemahaman, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta akan budidaya Maggot BSF. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah besarnya antusias masyarakat terhadap pelatihan dengan dibuktikan aktifnya masyarakat mengikuti kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir dan banyaknya peserta yang aktif dalam sesi diskusi dan tanya jawab. Sehingga bisa ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pelatihan dan praktek budidaya Maggot BSF di desa Majannang berlangsung sukses dan meningkatnya pemahaman dan sikap peserta tentang pentingnya pengolahan limbah sampah organik dan sebagai alternative bahan pakan udang dan ikan Kata kunci: Magot BSF, Alternatif pakan udang dan ikan, kedaireka, PT.
