Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian studi adalah menetahui perilaku dan kapasitas lentur balok beton yangmemakai serat bambu. Ukuran benda uji balok beton yang telah dibuat adalah panjang 500mm, tinggi 100 mm dan lebar 100 mm, yang mengandung serat bambu 0,25%, 0,5%, 0,75% dan1% terhadap berat fraksi normal beton. Satu variasi lainnya dibuat tanpa serat bamboo sebagaiparameter pembanding. Serat bambu yang digunakan dalam eksperimen ini adalah jenisBambu Apus (Giganthochloa Apus Kurz) yang diambil secara acak. Uji bending telah dilakukandengan empat titik pembebanan.Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan serat bambu pada balok beton berpengaruhpada regangannya. Rasio regangan bending maksimum balok beton normal terhadap balokbeton serat bambu adalah 1: 1,314. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa regangan bending daribalok dengan serat bambu adalah lebih baik dibanding dengan balok beton normal.Kata Kunci : Serat Bambu, Balok Beton, Bambu Apus

Abstract

Penyesuaian kurikulum dengan perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan teknologi telah memacu upaya perbaikansistem pembelajaran yang ada saat ini. Salah satu upaya untuk mencapai target khusus dalam perbaikan sistempembelajaran analisa struktur adalah melalui pembuatan program aplikasinya (ANSTRUK). Program aplikasi inimemiliki keutamaan dalam proses belajar-mengajar, sehingga para siswa lebih mudah melakukan analisis struktur.Selain itu, program aplikasi ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para praktisi yang berkecimpung dalam perencanaan strukturagar dapat menunjang pembangunan infrastruktur sipil

Abstract

Lightweight concrete has ability to increase workability and reduce structure load such as gravity and earthquake loads. Therefore lightweight and adequately rigid structural system is required.  Based on efficiency of material application and adaptation optimization to the stress distribution system, composite system become one alternative that can be utilize, especially on beam structure. In this case, collaboration between lightweight concrete and ordinary concrete will be the deciding factor to achieve the objectives mentioned above. To construct lightweight concrete, timber particles obtained from sawmill industrial waste with density of 0,35 – 0.65 gr/cm3 will be highly possibly to utilize. This research aims to obtain the composition of concrete and timber particles mix that its strength can be measured in order to get effective composite concrete beam. A number of tests to the mix of concrete and timber particles were conducted to find out its pressure strength, tensile strength and elasticity, in order to get the percentage of timber particles used in concrete that will be used to create composite concrete with ordinary concrete. Sawmill and furniture industrial waste in form of timber particles can be utilized as material to create lightweight concrete which was limited only to nonstructural element. Abstract

The aim of this study was to know the pattern damage of finger joints in bamboo laminated beams. The dimension of laminated beams were manufactured in 1200 mm length, 140 mm deep and 50 mm wide, which consisted of horizontally laminate of 5 mm in thickness. The finger joint consisted of two variations that were horizontal and vertical directions. One variation of other beam was manufactured in the form of clear straight beams as comparator parameters. The bending shear test was conducted with a three-point static bending.The result of research indicated that the joint areas, which the parameter of glue spread have to influence on the strength. Consequently, degradation of strength occurs on all of adhesive jointed beam can reach 48%, while the optimum strength of jointed beams can reach 82% of clear straight beams. This research identify that the pattern damage of laminated beams tends on a mixed mode failure between tension and compression. The strength of vertically finger joint more effective than horizontally finger joint
