Abstract

Rapid growth of online vegetable traders make the traditional one worry about their future, in which the bankruptcy is in near future, like several department store and other conventional businesses. The proposed digital technology is an online business tool for traditional vegetable peddlers aimed at supporting them to compete with online vegetable traders, building a better trading management, and equip them with information technology development and usability. Customer could order vegetables to the peddler through an application. The application will notify peddlers about the corresponding order, thus the peddler could pack and deliver the orders along with that day’s orders to the correct address. Market potential of this apps is highly large, due to the number of potential customers as well as the peddlers. To make it more efficient, this application implement zoning approach, in which customers areas are divided into several zone, differ from its number of population and area size. By implementing this method, the delivery process could be arranged in accordance with the shipping line in each zones, resulted in minimizing our shipping cost. The implementation of this application aimed to secure the peddlers job, protecting them from the unhealthy development and growth of online vegetable traders.

Abstract

The need for public facilities in densely populated areas is an important matter. One of the needs for public facilities is a public toilet or commonly called MCK. However, the MCK facilities do not yet have management of charging water and electricity. One way to overcome this problem is to use a system that is able to manage water filling and electrical power in the MCK. The problem of insufficient power can be overcome by applying Solar Cell using a Hybrid system so that the existing power becomes more efficient. This study uses a water management system in the toilet bowl using ultrasonic sensors and solenoid valves. The duration of using MCK is known from the PIR sensor. The power management itself uses a hybrid solar cell system where the resources used are batteries and PLN. Then the sensor reading data is sent to firebase and displayed on the website. Based on the test, it was found that the performance of the solar cell during testing on Saturday 10 July 2021 to Monday 12 July 2021 produced an average power of 20.28Watt and the average intensity of sunlight was 680062.32lx. The power used by the load for 3 days is 0.81 kWh. The average usage on the 3 days of the trial was 9.72 Min. Quality of Service testing on a 3-day trial system obtained an average delay of 0.9637308s and packet loss of 2.2%.

Abstract

Fiber optics is a light-utilizing signal transmission medium and can be used in a wide variety of sensing sensors. Optical fiber has multifunctional sensing capabilities, namely strain, pressure, temperature, and acoustic signals with a high level of sensitivity. In this study, optical fiber will be used as a mass sensor by utilizing the macro bending method with microcontroller media. The data analysis carried out was compares the graph when the fiber optic is given a certain load, by the number certain windings and when bending with a certain diameter will then be made formula for measuring mass with optical fiber. Load or load mass = 0 gr, 200 gr, 400 gr, up to 10 kg with 9 turns and ¼ inch, ½ inch, 5/8 inch, ¾ inch, and 1 inch diameter hose. In this study, the results of weight measurement using an equation obtained from measuring the power loss against the load used are formed in a graph which results in the linier equation that is entered converted into a formula for finding the load which is then inputted into the android code so that it can be processed properly.

Abstract

Many studies and research are continuously being developed to improve the quality and capability of video compression. Compression of the video is done with the help of a video codec, in the video there are several types of video codecs including VP8 and H.265. These two codec models have very high resolutions for video. In implementing video calls, the determination of the codec has not been able to prove the results of video quality. To be able to know the quality of the resulting video, codec quality testing can be done through pixel conversion which can later be analyzed for video quality when making calls. In this study, a comparison of the performance of the VP8 and H.265 codecs will be carried out using the FreePBX server as a Raspberry Pi-based Video Call Server and is expected to find out which codecs are appropriate to use for the video call process. Based on the results of the comparison study between the two codecs, it shows that the value of the QoS parameter includes packet loss codec H.265 with a resolution of 720 lower with a value of 0.95%. The throughput value of the VP8 codec with 720p resolution is higher with a value of 1275.36 Kbps. The delay value in the H.265 codec with VGA resolution lower with a value of 6.78 ms. The results of the pixel conversion test show that the H265 codec has a higher PSNR value of 55.64 dB and a lower MSE value of 5.66.

Abstract

A room with too humid conditions can cause mold and bacteria to multiply quickly. The humidity level of the room can be influenced by several factors such as the temperature level and the intensity of light entering the room. Even so, the use of lighting as a sterilizer is currently still lacking in reducing the level of humidity in the room. For this reason, it is necessary to develop technology in the form of a control system for the use of led and ultraviolet lamps in the study room by utilizing the IoT system, so that it can turn on the lights and utilize electrical energy. In this study, the Internet of Things system was applied as a control for Web cameras, Gyml 8511, DHT11, and BH1750 sensors. Data from the sensor will be sent from Arduino uno to a local server, namely raspberry pi 4 using NRF24L01. The communication system between nodes is designed with a mesh topology that can determine the fastest route in the process of sending information. The result of this research is monitoring on the web display that displays the condition of the class and the condition of the lights. From the experimental results, it is found that the mesh communication system can work well.
