Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Prezi jika diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran mengenai materi sistem pencernaan manusia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2018 sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2018 di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode true eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Kota Tasikmalaya sebanyak 9 kelas, dengan jumlah 273 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak 2 kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah teknik tes hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Tes tertulis ini berupa pilihan ganda dengan empat option. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis didapatkan nilai t­hitung = -20,48 dan ttabel =2,04. Maka thitung terletak di daerah penolakan Ho, hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh hasil belajar peserta didik yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan media prezi pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Kota Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Kata kunci : media pembelajaran prezi, hasil belajar, sistem pencernaan manusia

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model creative problem solving (CPS) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep Jamur di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Manonjaya tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2017 sampai dengan bulan September 2018 di SMA Negeri 1 Manonjaya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah true exsperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Manonjaya sabanyak tujuh kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik 215 orang. Sampel penelitian di kelas X IPA 4 sebanyak 31 orang peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan di kelas X IPA 1 sebanyak 31 orang peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol di SMA Negeri 1 Manonjaya. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep Jamur. Tes ini berupa pilihan majemuk sebanyak 42 butir soal dengan lima option. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan taraf nyata ? = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep jamur dikelas X SMA N 1 Manonjaya tahun ajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kesiapan belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA pada mata pelajaran biologi SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya. Teknik sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan sampel yang dipilih yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 sebanyak 31 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk mengukur hasil belajar yaitu menggunakan skor Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT). Sedangkan untuk mengukur tingkat kesiapan belajar dan displin belajar menggunakan instrumen non-test berupa angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas data, uji linearitas, uji multikolinieritas dan uji hipotesis. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kategori kuat. Hasil lainnya yaitu terdapat korelasi antara disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kategori sedang. Kemudian adanya korelasi antara kesiapan belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kategori kuat serta besarnya kontribusi kesiapan belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar 49,6%.

Abstract

This study investigated the effect of an iNaturalist-assisted Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ biodiversity literacy in the context of biodiversity education. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was employed. The participants were Grade 10 students at SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya during the 2025/2026 academic year, selected using purposive sampling. The experimental group received iNaturalist-assisted PjBL, the positive control group received PjBL without iNaturalist, and the negative control group received Discovery Learning. Biodiversity literacy was assessed using a validated and reliable 36-item multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) at a 5% significance level, followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) post hoc test. The ANCOVA results demonstrated that the iNaturalist-assisted PjBL model had a significant effect on students’ biodiversity literacy (F = 39.992, p < 0.001). The LSD test further confirmed that the experimental group achieved the highest mean score (32.66), significantly exceeding the PjBL group without iNaturalist assistance (23.85) and the Discovery Learning group (19.73). These findings indicate that integrating citizen science technology into the PjBL framework significantly enhances students’ biodiversity literacy. The statistically significant differences among the three groups provide empirical evidence that combining project-based instruction with digital species-identification technology is more effective in facilitating students’ mastery of biological concepts than the other instructional approaches examined.

Abstract

Chili is one of the important food ingredients. The lack of public knowledge about chili cultivation techniques and good land optimization makes people's interest to grow chili less. In addition, household organic waste management in Tasikmalaya, especially in Sukasari Village, has not been optimal. The objectives of this service activity are 1) To provide knowledge and skills about chili cultivation techniques; 2) Utilization of household organic waste through the technology of processing household organic waste into organic fertilizer that can have economic value (Osama biobased economy); and 3) Educate the public regarding the optimization of yard land. The partners in this activity are the Jaya Mukti Farmers Association and Mukti Farmers Group which are located in adjacent areas with a total of 32 people using a random sampling technique because the sample is homogeneous. The activities carried out were in the form of socialization, demonstration, and practicum on household organic waste processing technology (Osama), chili cultivation techniques and optimization of yard land, as well as distribution of seeds and fertilizers to the community. The data collection technique in this activity uses a questionnaire. The results of this service activity indicate that there is an increase in community knowledge and skills in chili cultivation and the use of household organic waste and home yards.

Abstract

Science literacy is one of the 21st-century skills that students need to have. One of the things that affects students' science literacy skills is the learning model used. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' science literacy skills in human excretory system material in the class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya, Academic Year 2022/2023. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a static-group comparison design. The population in this study were all XI MIPA classes of SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya as many as 8 classes with a total of 283 students. The sampling technique was done by cluster random sampling method. The sample used in this study consisted of 2 classes, namely class XI MIPA 2 as an experimental class with a total of 33 students and class XI MIPA 3 as a control class with a total of 39 students. Data collection techniques in the form of giving instruments of science literacy skills with multiple choice questions as many as 37 questions related to the topic of human excretory system. Hypothesis testing using an independent t-test with a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 &lt;0.05, therefore that H0 is rejected means that there is an effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students' science literacy skills on the subject of human excretory system in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya Academic Year 2022/2023.

Abstract

Information literacy is essential for understanding complex biological concepts, yet instructional approaches that effectively support this competency require further examination. This study investigated the effect of resource-based learning on eleventh-grade students’ information literacy during respiratory system instruction. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest non-equivalent control group design was employed with 64 students from two science classes. Students’ information literacy was measured using a 30-item multiple-choice test developed according to the Association of College and Research Libraries framework. The instrument was reported as valid and demonstrated acceptable reliability, with a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.82. Post-intervention data were analyzed using analysis of covariance while controlling for initial scores. Students taught through resource-based learning achieved significantly higher information literacy scores than those taught through discovery learning, F = 5.42, p = 0.021, partial η² = 0.08. These findings indicate that resource-based learning can support students’ information literacy in biology instruction by engaging them in locating, comparing, evaluating, and synthesizing information from multiple resources. Its implementation, however, requires appropriate instructional management to address limited teaching time and technical constraints
