Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh manajemen kesiswaan terhadap disiplin belajar dalam mewujudkan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan tehnik survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi dan studi lapangan. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian penelitian adalah analisis statistik dengan model analisis jalur (path analysis). Lokasi penelitian adalah di MA Al-Falah 2 Nagreg Kabupaten Bandung, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 79 orang. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin belajar dalam mewujudkan prestasi belajar siswa. Adapun pengujian pada sub-sub hipotesis menunjukan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap disiplin belajar siswa. Manajemen kesiswaan memiliki pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Disiplin belajar siswa memiliki pengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan manajemen kesiswaan. Kata kunci: Manajemen kesiswaan; disiplin belajar; prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The modernization of islamic Education continues to be pursued, but these efforts are still faced with endless problems, so an effort is needed, including starting with an effective and efficient approach, goals and steps to advance Islamic Education so that it can compete in the world. the current era of globalization. the concept of modernizing Islamic education includes thoughts about modernizing goals, curricula and institutions of Islamic Education. The goal of Islamic education today is to have a balance, namely happiness in the world and the hereafter, as well as increasing capabilities in the field of science and technology. The Islamic Education Curriculum needs to be included in the field of science and technology so that superior human resources will be created not only in the field of religion but also in science and technology. Islamic Education Institutions also need to be managed in a professional and directed manner in order to achieve satisfactory results in developing the potential of students. The concept of modernization of education is still relevant to the concept of Islamic Education contained in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. It can be seen from the similarity in the formulation of the goals of Islamic Education, namely that they both pay attention to two things, namely the happiness of the world and also the hereafter at the same time. Besides that, it is also related to the characteristics of Islamic education, the concept of Islamic Education contained in the Qur'an equally pays attention to the mastery of science and technology. Problems that are a challenge for Islamic educational institutions in improving quality include: public skepticism towards Islamic educational institutions, weak institutional vision and mission, overloaded curricula, low competitiveness of graduates of educational institutions and inadequate infrastructure.

Abstract

Since the first, the true character of the pesantren is multicultural. This is deemed necessary due to the categorization or grouping that has occurred to date between traditional Islam and modern Islam, and within certain limits, due to conflicts between Islamic teachings (brought by traders and preachers from the Middle East) and Christian teachings (which brought by traders and missionaries from the Netherlands). Pesantren was established before the Republic of Indonesia was founded, so it is an education that is deeply rooted in society. The students also come from various cultural backgrounds. Sometimes there is a pesantren whose students come from dozens of provinces, which means that pesantren are in demand across cultures. This is important in relation to religious moderation. Religious moderation in Islamic boarding schools, if summarized, is contained in several principles that become the guidance of the santri. This is what the Ministry of Religion continuously socializes so that it becomes the main stream in social and national life.
