Abstract

There is widespread concern for the situation of school science regarding contents and teaching methods. In this study, based on open questionnaire data, we explore Indonesian students’ difficulties and their learning preference in science at two secondary schools students. In this paper how students perceive science as a subject and how the science instruction are expected to happened in classroom setting are described and discussed. Based on findings, the teaching of science needs to be emphasized more on the relevancies to students’ experiences and on knowledge in context.doi.org/10.24071/ijiet.2017.010103

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu bidang kajian menarik bagi pendidik bidang sains di negara berkembang dan dalam budaya timur (non-Western) adalah hakikat interaksi antara praktik tradisi dan keyakinan yang ada di masyarakat tempat siswa tinggal dan sains yang diajarkan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempertimbangkan isu-isu budaya dalam konteks pembelajaran sains di Indonesia. Keterkaitan antara budaya siswa, pengalaman siswa di rumah, dan pengalaman pengetahuan siswa yang diidentifikasi sebagai funds of knowledge, telah diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran sains. Penelitian ini berlangsung di dua SMP di Indonesia. Dua guru dan 173 siswa (94 laki-laki dan 79 perempuan) berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kecocokan antara pengalaman hidup siswa, tingkat pengetahuan, dan konsep ilmu pengetahuan dapat menjadi faktor utama dalam menjaga keberlanjutan pembelajaran ilmiah pada kelas sains. Hal ini penting untuk mengembangkan pengajaran dan pembelajaran sains yang menekankan pada penggabungan pengetahuan siswa, terutama dalam menyajikan ilmu yang relevan dengan siswa kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: funds of knowledge, sekolah menengah, pembelajaran sains PENGALAMAN GURU DALAM MENGINTEGRASIKAN PENGALAMAN BUDAYA SISWA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BELAJAR SAIN Abstract: One area of interest for science educators in developing countries and in non-Western settings is the nature of interaction between traditional practices and beliefs existing in the communities in which students live and the science taught in schools. The purpose of this study is to consider cultural issues in the context of the teaching of science in Indonesia. The connection between students’ culture, home experiences and experiential knowledge of students which is identified as funds of knowledge have been incorporated into learning science. This study took place within two sub-urban Junior High Schools in Indonesia. Two teachers and 173 students (94 males and 79 females) participated in this study. This study findings reveals that “compatibility” between students’ real-life experiences, their funds of knowledge, and science concepts can be the major factor in sustaining science learning in science classes. It is important worthwhile to develop the teaching and learning of science which put emphasis on incorporating students’ funds of knowledge especially in presenting science that is relevant to students’ everyday life. Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to improve learning outcome IPA class studenst IV SD Negeri 012 Bukit Lingkar Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kab. Indragiri Hulu 2014/2015 school year. This research subject is student class IV SD Negeri 012 Bukit Lingkar with total student is 20 student. Type of this research is class action research with 2 cycle. The research indicate that teacher activity in cycle I with 70% average and cycle II improve to 90% average. The research result experience improve, before application of learning model problem instruction. In the base score student success 5 person (25%) with 66,1 average, cycle II improve again with student success 18 person (90%) with 82,8 average. All of the improve learning outcome is 65%. Therefore conclusion of this research that hypothesis in this research “ If model learning Problem Based Intruction (PBI) applied than can improve learning outcomes IPA class student IV SD Negeri 012 Bukit Lingkar Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kab. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1. mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pemasaran online terhadap keputusan pembelian, 2. mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh harga terhadap keputusan pembelian, 3. mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian, 4. mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh etika bisnis terhadap keputusan pembelian, 5. mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh secara simultan pemasaran online, harga, pelayanan dan etika bisnis terhadap keputusan pembelian. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 472.000 jiwa, sedangkan sampel peneltian ini ditentukan dengan penentuan sampel minimum pendekatan Ferdinand (2006) sebanyak 118 responden yang terdiri dari profesi dokter, dosen, PNS, swasta dan mahasiswa. Data yang terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda (multiple regression). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemasaran online berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian. Namun demikian, penelitian tidak dapat membuktikan bahwa harga, pelayanan dan etika bisnis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian pada produk fashion melalui media internet. Kata Kunci: Pemasaran Online, Penetapan Harga, Layanan, Etika Bisnis, dan Keputusan Pembelian Abstract This study aims to; 1. identify and analyze the effect of online marketing to the purchasing decision, 2. determine and analyze the effect of price on purchase decisions, 3. identify and analyze the influence of services to the purchasing decision, 4. identify and analyze the influence of business ethics on purchasing decisions, 5. know and simultaneously analyze the influence of online marketing, pricing, service and business ethics to the purchasing decision. This study population as 472,000 people, whereas the present study sample was determined by determining the minimum sample approach Ferdinand (2006 ) of 118 respondents consisting of professional doctors, professors, civil servants, private sector and students. The collected data were processed and analyzed using multiple regression analysis (multifle regression). Results showed that online marketing has positive influence on purchase decisions. However, the study can not prove that price, service and business ethics influence significant to consumers in making purchasing decisions on fashion products via the Internet.
