Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the extent to which competence, motivation and discipline affect employee performance, the analysis unit in this study is employees who work in financing companies in Jambi City, the sample number of 67 respondents, data collection techniques using questionnaires and processed by using multiple linear regression analysis, the results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence both partially and significantly. Simultaneously from the variables of competence, motivation and discipline to the performance of employees of financing companies in Jambi City.

Abstract

Management is a process that consists of the function of planning, organizing, leadership and control of the activities of human resources and other resources to achieve the stated goals efficiently. From the hypotesis testing results it can be concluded that motivation variable (X) is able to explain the variable (Y) or the performance of employees is 96,6% and 78,2% otherwise be caused by other variables outside variables studied. From the opinions of expert who address of management it can be concluded that management isa process of planning, organizing, leadership, and control of the activities of human resources to achieve the goals that have been set together. In this study there are indicators of some motivational variables variables IE. Physiological needs, safety needs, the needs of the award, the needs of larger groups, the need for self-actualization. While performance indicators covering quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, independence. Staffing Agency area of Jambi province was formed based on the applicable local Jambi province number 15 in 2008, as it transformed into a Regional Regulation number 6, 2010 about the Organization and the Labor Inspectorate, the regional development planning board and Technical Institutions of the regional province of Jambi. Based on a regression equation to calculate simple linear, obtained the following mathematical equation Y = 1,658 + 0484 X from the following equation looks positive impact of motivation on performance of employees in the Agency's staffing area of Jambi province. If motivation increase 100% the performance of employees in the Agency's staffing area of Jambi province will be increased by 48.4%. This fact shows that motivation affect performance in Staffing Agency area of Jambi province. Motivation in the staffing Agency area of Jambi province high with an average score of 343.4 while the Staffing Agency's performance in the area of Jambi province high with an average score of 346.13 which means that the hypothesis of work motivation and performance of the Agency's Regional Staffing officer province of Jambi.Keyword: work motivation, employee performance

Abstract

Current Ratio is one of the company's ability to pay its short-term liabilities with its assets. Debt to Equity Ratio is the ability of the company to fulfill all its obligations, indicated by what part of the capital itself used to pay the debt. Profit is an indicator of achievement or performance of a company whose magnitude appears in the financial statements, exactly profit and loss. The objective of this research is to know whether there is influence between Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio and more dominant variable between both variables at PT.Astra International registered in BEI period 2006-2015. PT.Astra International is a multinational company that produces automotive and which is produced from automotive itself that is car, sepedamotor and spare parts and also distribute heavy equipment. Which is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is known that F count is 24,646 by comparing F table α = 0,05. And on the t test results can be known to Debt to Equity Ratio has t count of 2.239 while ttable of 2.36 so t count < t table with a significant probability to variable Debt to Equity Ratio of 0.002 smaller than at a significant level of 0.05 can be concluded that the partial Current Ratio effect Significantly and positively to Net Income.Keyword: current ratio, debt to equity ratio

Abstract

Change of Status from PTN-Satker to PTN-BLU, then through the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 37 of 2017 dated April 3, 2017, IAIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi officially transformed into UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. This fundamental change certainly has an impact on changing the paradigm and mindset of organizational governance as a Public Service Agency on the one hand and the University on the other. The process of metamorphosis of the Institute into a University has opened up opportunities for the opening of new and general study programs at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, this is a potential in providing quality educational services that are relevant to the needs of the community. Based on the SWOT Analysis, which is analyzed from the aspects of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, it can be formulated so strategy (using strengths to get opportunities, ST strategy (using strengths to overcome threats), WO strategy (correcting or overcoming weaknesses to get opportunities) and WT Strategy (correcting weaknesses to overcome threats. From these four strategies, one main strategy emerged, namely the direct procurement method with a nominal limit of Rp. 500 million with more transparency, accountability and professionalism, so that in turn this direct procurement method becomes more efficient, effective and optimal. Based on the results of the Value For Money analysis of revenue and budget realization of BLU UIN STS Jambi in 2017-2019, from the Economic Ratio the criteria for three economic years, from the Efficiency ratio in 2017-2018 is efficient, 2019 is inefficient, from the Effectiveness ratio in 2017-2018 is effective and 2019 is ineffective. Based on the Pareto Chart analysis, it was found that there were two problems or 25 percent of the root of the problem that caused more than 80 percent of the problems to achieve optimal pareto during 2017-2019 in the direct procurement method below Rp. 200 million, namely first the number of packages was too much, so that it became uneconomical, and the second was an incidentally planned work package, so that the output became less effective. The incidental work package arises because the threshold income is only known to be the amount in September-October (Special income from Student Tuition) every year, so the time is very short to tender.
