Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang diketahui mewabah di Indonesia sejak awal bulan Maret 2020 menyebabkan adanya perubahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Salah satunya ialah kebijakan sekolah dari rumah yang mengharuskan mahasiswa melakukan pembelajaran daring. Proses pembelajaran daring yang serempak seluruh Indonesia ini, nyatanya menjadi stressor baru bagi mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran tingkat stress mahasiswa dan coping stress mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 110 orang mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif (frekuensi dan persentase) dan kuesioner pertanyaan terbuka untuk memperoleh gambaran coping stress mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stress mahasiswa selama pembelajaran daring tergolong sedang, sementara mahasiswa cenderung melakukan coping stress adaptif untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan selama perkuliahan daring. The Covid-19 pandemic, which is known to be endemic in Indonesia since the beginning of March 2020, has caused changes in various aspects of life. One of them is the school policy from home that requires students to do online learning. The online learning process, which is simultaneous throughout Indonesia, has in fact become a new stressor for students. The purpose of this study was to see an overview of student stress levels and student stress coping. This research is a quantitative descriptive study involving 110 students who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) which was analyzed using descriptive analysis (frequency and percentage) and an open-ended question questionnaire to obtain an overview of student coping stress. The results of this study indicate that student stress during online learning is moderate, while students tend to do adaptive stress coping to be able to solve problems during online lectures.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of teaching for a male early childhood education educator. The life experiences of every male early childhood education educator are complex and unique, so the researcher chose this theme. In general, early childhood education educators in Indonesia are identical to the work of a woman, but some men still choose to work as early childhood education educators. Methodology: Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews (In-Depth Interviews). Data analysis used interpretive case study analysis. The subjects in this study were 3 people who were male early childhood education educators in Boyolali Regency. Results : The results of this study are the meaning of teaching for men who work as early childhood education educators is different. The main motivation for teaching early childhood education subjects is as a call to the soul to contribute to the intellectual development of the nation's children and as a charity. Subjects view welfare not only seen from the amount of salary received. Applications/Originality/Value: Positively perceived experiences in this study were self-actualization, being a life teacher, being a charity field, and commitment. Experiences that are perceived negatively in this study are the emergence of conflicts caused by a lack of confidence or conflicts that come from external.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the resilience of young adult entrepreneurs after the COVID-19 pandemic to survive difficult times. The characteristics and several emerging factors can help UMKM entrepreneurs find strength after the covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted in one of the districts in Central Java. The method used is a qualitative research with five MSME entrepreneurs aged 20-40 years who are able to survive the covid 19 pandemic. The determination of the research subjects uses purposive sampling and data collection using the interview method. The results of the study describe that each subject has the characteristics of independence, initiative relationship, creativity, morality, insight, and religiosity. The resilience factors that emerge in this study are belief and belief in the ability to survive and the principle of religiosity. Each subject has a time difference in the resilience process. This is influenced by family support and independence of the subject. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi pada pengusaha usia dewasa awal dan madya pasca pandemik covid 19 untuk bertahan dari masa sulit. Karakteristik dan beberapa faktor yang muncul dapat membantu pengusaha UMKM laki-laki menemukan kekuatan pasca pandemi covid 19. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan lima pengusaha UMKM yang berusia dewasa awal 20-40 tahun dan usia dewasa madya yaitu 40-60 tahun yang mampu bertahan di masa pandemic covid 19. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan masing-masing subjek memiliki karakteristik kemandirian, hubungan inisiatif, kreativitas, moralitas, insight, dan religiusitas. Faktor resiliensi yang muncul dalam penelitian ini adalah keyakinan terhadap kemampuan bertahan dan prinsip religiusitas. Setiap subjek memiliki perbedaan waktu dalam proses resiliensi. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh dukungan keluarga dan kemandirian subjek.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic noble character is to receive knowledge. Lack of attitudes to acquire knowledge should be overcome by preparing college students with attitudes to acquire knowledge. One of them is – having active listening skills. This skill has positive impacts on interpersonal communication and creates a harmonious relationship. This skill can be improved by applying it to receive knowledge. It is the reason why psychological students are prepared with this skill. It allows them to listen and analyze a problem of a client. This research aims to find out the description of active listening (the attitudes of receiving knowledge by college students). This research is qualitative, involving 28 college students taken by random sampling technique. The data were collected with an opened questionnaire distributed by Google form and interview. The data analysis applied descriptive data analysis. The findings showed that the students’ active listening skills would be easily applied when an individual had a better understanding of obtaining knowledge and could apply the skill. The active listening skill had to be trained and developed by students, especially psychological students. It would be necessary when they engaged with clients and analyzed their problems. It was essential to pay attention in applying active listening while promoting the attitudes of receiving knowledge, especially in terms of physics, mentality, empathy, and open-mind. Active listening would emerge if all people applied the attitudes of acquiring knowledge. Keywords : attitudes to receive knowledge, active listening, psychological students
